While the service is poor, the facility also needs a huge renovation. They make it look nice on the outside, but the inside is completely outdated and desperately needs an update.

My mother (and my father until his passing) lived in the Seasons community for 11 years - 9 years at Seasons and 2 years at Courtyard. The years in independent living was tolerable - Courtyard, not so much. The lack of staffing, particularly at night, was very concerning. When you have one nurse on duty and a scattering of aides handling 3 floors of elderly residents, this is makes for a less than ideal assisted living arrangement. Care conferences were never held, repairs requested for her apartment (broken tile in bathroom - possible trip hazard), thorough apartment cleaning as stipulated in lease agreement each took over a year to achieve. Other than an ideal location there is nothing ideal about Courtyard. My mother at age 96 passed away recently and no one in the management of Senior Lifestyle had the humanity to even utter condolences to our family. Concerns regarding the facility were also voiced to the President of Senior Lifestyle in their Chicago headquarters and has also been completely ignored. Would NOT recommend this facility to any family looking for an assisted living facility.

On the rare occasions I've had to cancel, including last-minute due to illness, I've paid the full appointment price plus tip without complaint. She performed the worst facial I've ever had--including failing to even power on the Bioloft machine. I kindly informed Renee, the owner, but still paid in full and was not even offered a replacement service. Recently, I've been dealing with serious health issues, including possible lymphoma/breast cancer. I woke up the morning of my scheduled appointment with a 103.6 fever. I immediately called, texted, and emailed the office. Rather than being met with compassion, I was met with rudeness and told I would be charged the full amount because I've had too many same-day cancellations. I even offered to come in sick to avoid the charge, which was declined. I strongly suspect the same esthetician who botched my facial was the one responding anonymously through the office text, as they avoid accountability by using no names or signatures. When I informed them I wanted to cancel my membership due to the poor treatment, they simply replied that it was 'for the best.' They then continued to antagonize me via text, even after I asked for all communication to cease. To make matters worse, they took my $150 membership credit for the month and canceled me without providing the service. After years of loyalty, it became clear they didn't value me as a client--likely because I don't fill my face with Botox and filler like their higher-paying Montgomery clientele. I also don't purchase their overpriced skincare, but I did invest in regular facials, massages with natural upgrades, and referred many new clients their way. Apparently, that loyalty meant nothing. If you're looking for a place that values relationships and treats all clients with respect--not just the ones spending big bucks--do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. So we needed private nursing services. And Collier meet our needs! I honestly believe Collier helped keep him alive. They came every week, no matter what, to fill his med box per physician's orders and make sure his blood pressure was stable. They also reported his blood pressure readings to his PCP. One time, his blood pressure was too high and his med doses had to be adjusted. This intervention may have saved him from another stroke. I cannot say enough good things about Collier!
