There are always buckets in the hallway (such a hazard for elderly people) I hope I can add photos to this review. Now for the staff.... The young man at the front desk was always very friendly, and that's as far as I would go. The manager there is unkind, and unhelpful. Actually approached us on the side and said she could work for us, but said not to tell Astoria! I did call the board of health but this is a medicaid facility that is obviously not monitored by anyone! He did not have a shower in 6 weeks! Which means no one in that place is getting a shower!!!! It's surprising to find out that it is a not-for-profit facility which means that once you are in they will keep you even if you run out of money. A lot of thought has been put into everything there and can give you some peace of mind.
