Caps for my front 2 teeth. I have way too much experience with dentists, starting at age 8, including many fillings, braces, root canals, bridges, and caps. So, 60+ years later I am having a major dental redo with Dr Kim at the office of Darel Moss. On Wednesday, Oct 9, 2024, I was seen by Dr Kim for caps on my front 2 teeth. He was very quick, exacting, and used some wonderful new materials and techniques. He even had a way in which I barely felt the the lidocaine injection. The temporary caps look great, and feel natural. In less than 3 weeks, I will get the permanent caps. I am very pleased and know that i am being treated by a state of the art dentist and a great team. I highly recommend Dr Kim and his team. read more

I am honored and privileged to be one of Dr. Moss' patients. His entire team - from his staff to the lovely hygienists and the doctor himself - are just outstanding. I found Dr. Moss on recommendation from a colleague after a dentist terribly hurt me and was too rough. At this point, I probably need a root canal though I'm looking to see a specialist highly-recommended by Dr. Moss to help me with the many problems. Dr. Moss is kind and understanding and extremely gentle, especially given that I am very sensitive to dental pain. Even when I've had problems and had to call to speak to Dr. Moss, one of his wonderful receptionists, Camilla, puts me right through to him; Dr. Moss then takes the time to speak with me and to understand the *root* of the issue. What a gem! I also think the hygienist Marisete is an angel. She is so conscientious and takes her time cleaning with my teeth. For the first time in my life, going to the dentist is a true pleasure! Dr. Moss was recommended by a number of parents after an orthodontist had made my daughter cry (by showing her all the things that needed to happen in her mouth.) He was kind and gentle and recommended an appliance which was much less expensive and very successful. He has a great approach and his staff and hygienists are great as well. read more

Dr. Darel Moss is a remarkable dentist. Our family has been seeing him for over 17 years. We've seen other dentists come and go, we've seen many low-priced fly-by-night dental clinics open (and close), but Dr. Moss and his staff have been a steady presence for our family, a family which includes a physician, a psychologist, two teenagers and a pre-adolescent child. In other words, we have presented Dr. Moss with just about every family dilemma possible, and he and his excellent staff have responded to our needs and crises with incredible patience, talent, and skill. The office is a friendly, informal place, but the work is serious and the quality is unsurpassed. The hygienists are excellent too-- in fact all the staff is friendly and talented. We could go on-- but the bottom line is that you will not find a better dental office to care for yours or your family's dental needs, whether mundane or complex. I went to Dr. Moss to get a second opinion about whether I needed a night guard. He told me that it was not warranted in my case, that the wear of my teeth was normal and consistent with my age. I have been a patient of Dr. Moss for a few years after listening to great reviews from a friend. I needed some work and had been quoted outrageous amounts of money after my insurance by two other dentists. I spoke for over an hour with Dr. Moss after my examination and discussed several ways to handle my treatment. We settled on a comfortable and affordable course over three years to bring my mouth back into reasonable shape. He was the height of professionalism at all times and above all was compassionate.....and listened to me. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know needing dental care. All the stuff is very professional, Nice, Helpful and they make you very comfortable with ease. No matter what kind of problem you have, they will make you their priority and you will feel that you are their only client. As a person who used to hate going to the dentist, I have been pleasantly surprised by Dr. Moss' office. I have had nothing but positive experiences. I have also had a few emergencies and Dr. Moss has always been extremely accommodating and helpful. He is a very good dentist and a reasonable person as well. I was a new patient to the office, and I cannot say enough fabulous things about my experience there. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly and treated as though I was the only person there. The attention to detail with regards to the appearance if the office was impeccable (including some exquisite art work in various media which was very pleasing to the eye). The state-of-the-art equipment was quite impressive and the staff was very accommodating, knowledgeable, welcoming, and extremely hard working. This really was an experience, to say the least. The Doctor himself, Dr. Darrel Moss, made me feel comfortable; not with only his extensive knowledge of Dentistry, his calming demeanor, and his pragmatism; but the fact that he took the time to listen astutely to my dental issue made me feel as though he truly cared about me, not just the tooth that was driving me bonkers (lol). He explained my options one by one; hand sketched a diagram for visualization, and showed me actual dental appliances that related to my issue. I will be back to this office without a doubt, and I hope anyone reading this will follow suit and make an appointment, because it is an amazing practice with wonderful healthcare providers, knowledgeable office administrators, a comforting feel, and a very interesting decor, unlike any other dental office I have been to. If you are interested in "old fashioned" chair side manner and a dentist who actually listens to what you have to say then came see Dr. Moss. I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to have somebody not try to jam thousands of dollars worth of treatment down your throat. I had a specific problem and that was addressed with no pressure and a highly informative discussion. Mt treatment by both his professional and knowledgeable staff allowed me to easily understand my options and take advantage of my rarely used dental insurance that I have been paying for years. Other practitioners asked me for thousands of dollars up front for work I did not complain about. I guess what I am trying to say is that I trusted Dr. Moss and that is always important in any relationship. I don't usually do reviews but I felt compelled to go through the aggravation of posting this as a thank you to this office for the way I was treated. I highly recommend this dental office to any person looking for solid and honest dental care. My children are now being treated for orthodontics by Dr. Moss also. Just a great place. read more
