I needed a root canal pretty bad and my father recommended Dr. Lee since Dr. Lee had done good work with my father's teeth. My father told me Dr. Lee used to be a professor in a dental school in New York. So, I wouldn't doubt Dr. Lee's experience. There is another dentist in the same office whom is Dr. Peter Lee's brother. Dr. Lee was able to examine my bad tooth and performed the first root canal procedure on my first visit; 2 more visits are needed to complete the root canal and then another one for the crown. The price he quoted is much lower than the quote I got from another dentist who is much younger with less experience compared with Dr. Lee. The root canal was less painful than I expected and I am sure Dr. Lee's experience helped a lot to minimize the pain! It was not painful at all and nothing too scary except the burring smell and the high pitch drilling noise; no dentist can help with the last two unless if you are completely knocked out by heavy anesthesia... Dr. Lee is not the talkative type but he was extremely professional when answering all my questions and concerns about my root canal. He even told me not to brush my teeth for 30 minutes after consuming acidic foods and drinks such as orange juice, coke etc. The acid would soften the tooth enamel and should not be brushed immediate until the softness goes away after 30 minutes. You always learn something new! Most of Dr. Lee's patients are elders and Dr. Lee gives everyone extremely reasonable rates, so I personally think he is not in it for the profits and more for the joy of helping people! BTW, this is right next to the Brookline Centre street municipal meter parking lot so parking is always not an issue unless on a Red Sox game day. Warning, the parking lot uses payment machines and not individual meters; you pay at one of the machines and put the receipt on your car's dash. I have diabetes and he took that into consideration when cleaning my teeth and the advice he offered me at the end of the appointment (something very few dentists have done over my life). It's described by others as a no-frills place, which I can see, but it's also a smaller, very clean, and well run business. The receptionist was efficient and very nice to me and the waiting room is pleasant to be in. They are one of the few dental practices in the area that takes MassHealth and actually has open appointments which I really appreciate. I had a lunchtime appointment and did have to wait a little bit before being seen, so if you're on a tight schedule this may not be the place for you. During the cleaning, the hygienist was quite rough and I was poked several times, which hurt. The appointment also ran much longer than expected, so my parking expired and I had to leave to move my car, and overall the visit took so long that I missed lunch and was extremely hungry by the end. After I returned, additional imaging was done by another assistant, which again took a long time and was uncomfortable because she took so many tries. While the dentist apologized and explained new patients usually take longer, it overall wasn't very reassuring. The whole experience felt so poorly managed. I left feeling sore, hungry, and stressed, and came home in tears. Because of this experience, I just can't return.

At my request she took the time to confirm my insurance coverage before I booked the appointment. They have state of the art equipment including digital x-ray that give you instant images. I was having hot/cold sensitivity with one of my upper teeth which they were able to show me was due to the root intruding into my sinus cavity (No cavities-yeah!.) Amy cleaned my teeth and she was great, she doubled cleaned them, first with the metal pick followed by a water pulsed cleaning. So, 60+ years later I am having a major dental redo with Dr Kim at the office of Darel Moss. On Wednesday, Oct 9, 2024, I was seen by Dr Kim for caps on my front 2 teeth. He was very quick, exacting, and used some wonderful new materials and techniques. He even had a way in which I barely felt the the lidocaine injection. The temporary caps look great, and feel natural. In less than 3 weeks, I will get the permanent caps.
