    18 oz. Cowboy Rib-eye @ $69 & Loaded Baked Potato @ $9
    Kimiko D.

Visiting from out of town and found this gem. Our server, Anna, was so warm and welcoming- walked us through the somewhat "confusing" menu (reason we deducted one star). We wanted a Rib-eye but there were 3 on the menu: Creekstone Farm, Cowboy, and Prime. No description to differentiate them. Ended up sharing a 18 oz Cowboy Rib-eye - delicious and plenty for two. Shared a salad and baked potato and all was good.

Had a great experience at Brooklyn! This was my first time in and the food was delicious. We had reservations for 3 on a Saturday night at 6:00pm to celebrate a friend's birthday. When we arrived we waited about 5 or so minutes to be seated. The restaurant itself was very pretty and clean. Our server was very nice and helpful. He went over a few drink options as well as the night's specials. I really appreciated how knowledgeable he was of the menu. We decided we would each get our own entree and share a few items off of the "sharables" menu. I highly recommend the brussel sprouts- the portion is large and they were delicious. After dinner we decided to get a dessert to split. Our server recommended the Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta so we gladly said yes to that. At that point the restaurant was full and it took about 20 minutes for us to get the dessert. We were chatting so we didn't notice how long it was taking so towards the end we asked if we could cancel the dessert. Luckily, the dessert was making its way to us. If you have a chance, I highly recommend the Panna Cotta. It was flavorful, light, and was a great dish to end the evening.

Brooklyn and The Butcher proved to be a fantastic dining experience. The restaurant is gorgeous and has a fantastic menu. The hostesses and server were friendly and knowledgeable. The only thing I hate about solo dining is that I can't order everything I want. I had to pare down my original intent to just the sirloin baseball cut, mac and cheese, and chocolate hazelnut cake. Everything was delicious. My steak was cooked just the way I liked it and it was great, though I could've gone for the zhug addition. Mac and cheese was super cheesy and flavorful. Bread was good. I loved my dessert, but couldn't finish it. My drink, the Isn't Shiso Lovely?, had gin, shiso, and glitter, three of my favorite things, plus it was purple, which is my color. And it was light but strong. I truly had an exceptional experience here and highly recommend Brooklyn and the Butcher. I'd return in a heartbeat if in the area again.

Two star rating for these reasons: extremely slow service. The server came and took our drink order, took 20 minutes for the drinks to arrive then another 30 minutes for the server to come back and ask if we wanted to place a food order (we finished our first round of drinks at this point as well). The server was apologetic and did offer to comp the appetizers. We did have oysters and a charcuterie board. Both were good. Then the main course, we ordered flat iron steaks which did arrive very good. Sides are à la cart here. We had Brussels sprouts, broccolini and mashed potatoes. The broccolini was good, the brussels sprouts were burnt and the mashed potatoes were dry. I only gave 2 stars due to the steaks, I wanted to give this place more but I can't based upon the slow service and the quality of the side items. Regretfully, I won't be back.

If this place were called "Steve's" or something and had more mundane lighting, I'd wrap my head around it more easily. The bar itself runs down the center of the single room with some four-ups against the wall. Each time, drinks are poured into plastic cups. Prices seem reasonable but portions are smaller than you'll get elsewhere. There's a few on draft, some alright cocktails and a limited food menu. I opted for the pretzel bread and pimento spread and was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed the freshness, texture, and taste! Music selections fluctuate both genres and volumes. Clientele is pretty relaxed. Its a go-to spot after 10 p.m.

Some aspects were good but several were really bad. We stated with the Fire appetizer, grilled season shrimp, escargot, broiled oyster, and scallops. The escargot was not done in any sauce, basically just cooked in the shell., no butter or garlic. The scallops were gritty and the oysters were terrible. The shrimp were pretty good but different seasoning. We had the Caesar salad which was pretty good. My wife had the special of lobster and filet. The lobster was way over cooked and the filet was a salt block. She could not eat it. We tried to cut the seasoning off of it to eat it. Definitely not worth $80. I had the charred octopus. I must say it was very good and I shared it with my wife and ate some of her steak. We also had the lister Mac and cheese which was ok. The service was hit and miss. The waiter liked to talk to other tables and took awhile to get back at times. Will not be going back.

She was very friendly and was not hesitant to make jokes to keep the good vibes! The restaurant opens the side doors to let fresh air in on a sunny day which is amazing if you don't want to sweat in the sun but still want to feel a nice breeze. The sliders were amazing, the chicken was not dry which is common in bar food places. The concept of every bread being rolls gives the hot dog an extra security when picking it up. Really excited to go back when the days are warmer and can enjoy the patio section!

We seated ourselves as there was no host but lots of waiters/waitress walking around. We sat at a simple rail table and waited for someone to wait on us and take our drink, food order. The staff just seemed oblivious to our being there and walked past several times. I finally went to the waitress station and got the attention of I believe the manager; He took my drink order; a Diet Coke wit bourbon and a Gallant Chocolate Stout. The tap spit so he went back to tap another keg. Was taking sometime; so got attention of the bartender ( Chrisella sp? ). I switched to a Founders stout and DC/bourbon. She was on it and gave me menus. Took drinks back to table and looked over the menu options. Many sounded very good; but still no one to take order. Went to waitress station and Sella took our order. 1 mile burger and one smash burger and split fries. We moved to the bar as a few patrons had left. Enjoyed game and soon food arrived. The burgers were really good and fries nice and crisp. Seen some pretty nice hot dogs served along with some hot fries. Even though service was mostly extinct, Chrisella made up for it. I'd like to plan to come back and try a few other interesting food and drink items. They do have one of the more comprehensive lists of beer line ups in the local area. I really liked the outside Biergarten and the business is very spacey and nicely decorated and lots of seating area.

I secretly love to try coleslaw whenever I see it on the menu and it was with it. Not too sweet and a good vinegar bite on the back end. The Hubs had a grilled chicken salad that was nice.
