A Hidden Gem That Redefines Fine Dining in New Albany From the moment we stepped inside, this new restaurant in downtown New Albany felt like stepping into another world -- where romance, artistry, and culinary mastery come together. The aesthetic is nothing short of magical: imagine Art Deco elegance meeting a moody French speakeasy, with high-back, richly colored booths and light fixtures that sparkle like jewelry above a spectacular bar. It's intimate, classy, and unforgettable. We began with appetizers that set the tone for the evening -- beef tartare, duck rillettes, and escargot served with the most perfectly charred bread. Each bite was balanced, thoughtful, and delicious. Our sommelier's recommendation, a J. Lohr red blend, paired beautifully with every course. For entrées, the lobster linguini--topped with shrimp and scallops--was indulgent perfection. The creamy vodka sauce had just the right kiss of spice, coating every strand of pasta with rich, decadent flavor. But the surprise showstopper? The half chicken with rice and vegetables. It was nothing like any roast chicken we've ever had -- tender, aromatic, seasoned with a unique blend of spices that felt both homey and elevated. I wasn't even the one who ordered it, and I can't stop thinking about it! The team made the night unforgettable. Emma, our waitress, was an absolute gem -- knowledgeable, passionate, and eloquent. She spoke about each dish with genuine excitement and made us feel like honored guests. Max, the owner and sommelier, shared stories of the restaurant's family roots and culinary journey, which added a personal touch to an already exquisite evening. We don't get to New Albany often, but this experience set a whole new standard for us -- even as we prepare to move to Las Vegas, a city known for world-class dining. Things might be bigger there, but this place will always be our benchmark for perfection. Truly a flawless dining experience -- romantic, refined, and absolutely memorable in every way.

It's the upscale restaurant of the same family that brought us Senor Iguana and a family of establishments. Food was definitely delicious and pricing was reasonable for an upscale place. Our server Shelby was excellent at her job. Chef Rosa was so sweet to come out and chat with us and tell us what a labor of love this business is to her and her family.

I had seen and spoke to the folks at Harvest homecoming so I was curious to try them out. It was a week night evening. The restaurant was not full, but the restaurant itself was absolutely beautiful low-key very elegant , but the service was wonderful. I sat at the bar. I ordered up a Negroni to drink, wedge salad and a French onion soup. The bartender was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Definitely a place to try if you want amazing food, wonderful ambience, and attentive service.

We absolutely loved the bartenders and the drinks, some of the best we've ever had! We didn't eat, but the menu looks fantastic!

The drinks are well made, the bartenders are friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe makes it easy to stay longer than you planned. It's a great spot whether you're going out for a casual night or meeting friends for something a little different from the usual bar scene. What really stands out is the personality of the place. It feels cozy, well put together, and genuinely enjoyable. We've had consistently good experiences and would absolutely recommend giving The Earl a try if you're in New Albany.

If this place were called "Steve's" or something and had more mundane lighting, I'd wrap my head around it more easily. The bar itself runs down the center of the single room with some four-ups against the wall. Each time, drinks are poured into plastic cups. Prices seem reasonable but portions are smaller than you'll get elsewhere. There's a few on draft, some alright cocktails and a limited food menu. I opted for the pretzel bread and pimento spread and was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed the freshness, texture, and taste! Music selections fluctuate both genres and volumes. Clientele is pretty relaxed. Its a go-to spot after 10 p.m.
