What a beautiful coffee shop! I love the open and bright feeling. There are a variety of seating…read moreoptions - soft seating, a few 2 & 4 top tables, bar/counter seating, and the most beautiful long table with plants set out on it surrounded by log style seating with cushions. So many cozy places to vibe. It's possible to reserve little sections of the shop for group events too. The menu is standard coffee shop offerings and I loved the espresso spritz that I got - I've never had a coffee that made me feel like I was drinking a cocktail before! The baked goods were high quality and tasty. The barista crew was super kind and friendly. They seemed to enjoy working together and went out of their way to be chatty and friendly towards me. Their little merch selections was super hard to resist - they sell cute totes and cups including clay cups which was unique. I loved their community focus and sustainability. Definitely check out Aldea if you're in the area - it's a beautiful space to be.

We happened upon this wonderful spot by chance whilst camping at Muskegon State Campground…read more I was immediately drawn to the interior decoration, creative corner for the kids, delicious coffee, and sustainable business model. Everything tasted phenomenal and we relaxed for a better part of an hour drawing, reading, and taking in the smell of live plants while listening to soothing cafe tunes. Across the way there is a beautiful boutique store with cute clothes and jewelry. They had paper bags to decorate for the kid's food basket along with print offs for kids to color. I loved their little library of books to curl up to. This place felt like a refuge to sit, relax, and be creative. Thankful these places exist. They make a killer cappuccino- reminded me of Italy. Strong and small. Definitely check out this place if you need to be caffeinated or want a gf cookie. I like it the most for the vibessssss.

I like that they offer frittatas and light sides such as pasta salad, pesto tortellini and chicken salad amongst a few other options. I imagine this space would be great to get some work done but most certainly to catch up with people you wanna spend time with. I tried the Cafe miel....a first for me. Espresso, honey, cinnamon and oat milk. I added a shot of vanilla and I loved it! The bacon + cheddar frittata was yummy! Some may find it too salty but I enjoyed it. It's a quirky space because they also sell vintage clothing pieces and books. But it's really cool!

Choose left for a disco party with the skeletons. Choose right for a moody art gallery. They have the best selection of fresh made gluten free and vegan foods. Their pastry chef should give herself a raise. Very supportive of ALL people. It's a safe place and community groups often meet in their cozy sitting room. If you have an interest in architecture and local history, this coffee shop is located in the historic Shaw Walker factory, which is currently (2025) undergoing a major repurposing- turning a crumbling building into condos and retail. It's really cool to see the transformation.

Catching up with a friend gave us plenty of time to try quite a few things from the menu! PERFECT coffee with delicious baked goods and even quiche on the menu if you're wanting something more savory. We tried the Glenside, Bluffton and Little Italy cookies... along with an iced Americano and a matcha latte... and 2 smoothies to go (the Marjorie & Silver Woods). Big thumbs up to everything, all were delicious! The lady at the counter was very sweet and helpful, even brought everything out to the table for us. There are only 2 tables (I believe) to sit at inside the cafe... it is very small, but was never busy, unfortunately. Maybe 2-3 people stopped in during the 2.5 hours we sat there to talk. Fingers crossed for this place... we really enjoyed everything about it and hope they stick around!
