OMG food was delicious! An old friend and I wanted to meet for brunch and she mentioned Mr.B's, one look online and I was sold. My friend says she's a fan of the stuffed hash browns, as she is not a big fan of eggs, and says it's all the goodies an omelette would have without the eggs. I ordered eggs benedict and was happy with the taste of the hollandaise sauce, the thick cuts of meat, and fluffy English muffins. Of course I upgraded my side of hash browns with cheese and onions. My friend and I split an order of the Elvis pancakes- this is when I was truly blown away. The pancakes are topped with peanut butter, bananas, and pieces of bacon. But when I began to dig in, I realized there is bacon baked right into the pancakes! A real pancake stroke of genius. Our waitress was also super great! Mr.B's is a great spot for breakfast and has been since 1974. From classic stacks, to hearty omelettes or something sweet, there is something for everyone. I had the cinnamon roll pancakes. The icing and cinnamon drizzle was so good! My boyfriend had the Irish breakfast bowl and enjoyed it. We also shared the bread pudding. A classic! Everything was delicious as always. I love the new branding and the decor inside. The bright and airy decor really looks nice and really brings the space to life! They also offer weekly specials that are not on the menu so definitely check their socials to see what's being offered! There is plenty of parking in the parking lot. It can get busy at peak times, but they do have a nice waiting area for guests. Our waitress Danielle was excellent. She provided a delightful dining experience. I was in Muskegon and searched for brunch places nearby. Mr. B's caught my eye, so I went there on a Saturday morning around 10:30 am. We waited less than 5 minutes before being seated. The restaurant is located in a small shopping plaza. A waiter promptly took my order, and I opted for the stuffed French toast with the cinnamon roll add-on. I enjoyed every bite of the fluffy French toast filled with sweet cream cheese, creating a delicious blend of flavors with the cinnamon roll sweetness. We also tried the stuffed hashbrown, sharing it among three of us. It was savory and very satisfying; I can envision ordering it as a skillet hash with two eggs on top. The others at the table had omelettes and also enjoyed their meals. Overall, I had a great experience at Mr. B's Pancake House and would revisit if in the area. For anyone seeking a good breakfast/brunch spot, it's worth a try. The service was good, portions were generous, and prices were reasonable. Big portions at a great price! My family almost all loved their foods. The Irish hash and banana French toast were big hits! I stopped in on a whim because I had some time to kill and was hungry. It is a snowy Friday morning in March 2024. What a find!!! Everyone I encountered from the hostess to several of the wait staff were smiling and amazingly friendly. Waitress named Carla waited on me as I sat at the breakfast bar alone. She asked if I had been here before and I announced no. She gave me several recommendations. When I asked about diabetic friendly options she made a couple of suggestions on that as well. She was quick to check on me, refill my coffee, see if everything tasted well and if I had any other needs. Great service! I saw a nearby server and asked him for some sugar-free syrup and he promptly, with a smile, found some for me. (No name tag) The 3 pancakes (buttermilk) were fluffy about the size of a saucer and delicious. The eggs were perfectly over easy without being "snotty". I asked the server to compliment the cook on that. The hash browns could have been a little more crispy, but that was my fault for not requesting it that way. The three strips of bacon were done perfectly. Not too hard and crisp, but not floppy either. The restaurant had the feel of a bar where everyone knows your name but not too casual either. It was welcoming and a great vibe. I did not use the bathroom but the overall appearance of the place is clean and well kept. Overall five stars in service, good presentation and very delicious food. Went to Mr. B's with a friend for lunch yesterday. Didn't know this place existed or that it is, (correct me if I'm wrong), allegedly the sister restaurant/under same owners as Brunch House (which I love). Had a nice visit! They had a few of the same items that Brunch House has, but I decided to get something new! I tried the power bowl with a side of fruit and it was super good! Wish I would've taken a picture. The side of fruit was the best compared to most places (strawberries, grapes, cantaloupe, banana, orange slice, etc). I loved the variety!!! And the power bowl was just as I expected with the peppers, quinoa and broccoli, and other veggies topped with eggs of your choice. The servers were friendly and attentive, food came quickly, and good service overall. Will have to come back to try new items again soon. read more

I was very disappointed by my first visit to Mr. B's. I ordered 2 blueberry pancakes and a side of biscuits and gravy. My biscuits and gravy were mostly gravy and I had to stop and actually feel around to see if there was any sausage in it. My pancakes weren't cooked! I turned the top one over to put butter on it and it fell apart into a pile of raw dough! I told our server who apologized and brought me new pancakes, but I was surprised how this happened at a place that is supposed to be all about pancakes! My "clean" fork also had crusted food on it, so I had to ask for a new one before eating. Nothing was done to fix these concerns other than a "Sorry about that" from the server. Not a fan. read more

Located in a strip mall, but looks fairly decent inside without being fancy. Good to great quality diner type food, served in large portions, by a friendly and fast staff. It is a trifle loud, more so when people's children start screaming, likely because of the ceiling and walls not being coated.
