Wasn't impressed this time around:( it was the last weekend of coast guard fest so I'm thinking maybe they had more visitors than usual or something. They had minimal bagel choices at noon (late in the day for a bagel so I understood)... but after paying they had to come ask my friend to pick another bagel type because somehow they sold out before they could make her order). The stars are for the food. The bagel sandwiches are always tasty. Brooklyn Bomber is the way to go! We have been here (usually drive through) many times and it usually takes a little bit but that's ok. Today we decided to dine in. There was only 1 other table eating inside. Pretty sure it was just the manager and 1 other employee working but no one greeted us when we came in, we waited probably 5 mins before someone came to take our order. I went back up later to order a coffee and watched as employees looked at me and continued their conversations. So I sat back down and wrote this review instead. Saw another customer come in after me and walk out after no one came out to greet her either. New management is needed. read more

I hadn't been to the beach in probably three years, so to commemorate the end of my birthday week in August (#leoseason), I decided I wanted to have breakfast at the beach. I checked on Yelp to find a spot that was near the lakeshore and open at that time and found Brooklyn Bagels. I'd never heard of it, but they had online ordering and a breakfast burrito that looked tasty. I placed my order while Nate drove us towards Grand Haven. I picked the breakfast burrito and was given a lot of options for customizing - you can add all sorts of veggies, meats, cheeses, and spreads. I opted for egg, sausage, black olives, tomatoes, cheese, and jalapeno cheddar cream cheese on a spinach tortilla. I also added a coconut milk chai latte. Online ordering was easy and they said it would be ready in about 20 minutes, which was perfect. When we arrived, there were a few cars in the drive through but I just ran in to grab my order. There were a couple of employees busy making coffees so I waited for a bit until I saw an "online ordering pickup" sign near a trash - but I didn't see my order. A second later I was greeted by an employee who I told I had an online order, which she went and grabbed right away. When I was leaving, I heard another person say, "We should be putting those over here" so I think they were just getting into their groove since I was the first online order that morning. The interior was very clean, super bright, and freezing cold! It felt good to me since it was already pretty humid out, but be aware if you're dining in and are sensitive to cold. We dug in to the burrito when we got to the beach and it was pretty tasty, but it was unfortunately missing the jalapeno cheddar cream cheese, which was a huge bummer because we were both looking forward to trying it. The burrito was still good, but definitely would check next time to make sure it was there before leaving. The scrambled eggs were fluffy, and all the other ingredients were fresh. The tortilla was soft and not stale. The coconut milk chai latte was smooth and creamy - I loved the light coconut flavor with the spices of the chai. I'd definitely get that again. I noticed that there is a large butterfly garden near the parking lot, which I thought was really unique and special. I'd come here again. read more

I've tried it 3 times now and have been impressed each time , breakfast sandwiches with everything bagel bacon and jalapeño cream cheese , the burrito with spinach wrap and ham and the Asiago bagel breakfast sandwich with ham along with herb cream cheese . My wife and I recently ordered a breakfast sandwich and burrito, respectively, at around 10:30 AM Saturday 8/9/25. Staff were frantic and busy so we waited patiently inside for our name to be called. 30 minutes (or more) go by and other people who ordered after us begin receiving their food. So my wife went to inquire with the staff about our order, to which they respond that they never got it. It then took a manager a solid 5+ minutes to scroll through all recent orders to finally locate ours for a refund. No explanation, context, or anything provided to us. Just silence from the employees who don't want to deal with any kind of conflict. Complete waste of time when a business is managed so poorly. Order knowing that you might not receive what you paid for. Such a shame, it would be a great restaurant if they can figure out their staffing issues. Will not be returning. Zero stars if I could. read more

You can find Brooklyn Bagels on pg 2 of The Book of Good Ideas. We heard good things about Brooklyn Bagels, so we had to do some investigating, and no we were not disappointed. We had to park on the street because the drive thru line was to the road. Being new customers, excitement began to grow exponentially on our walk in as we made direct eye contact with this Oreo Frappe advertisement sign guy. The lady helping us was extremely helpful answering my silly questions. We played it safe and got the bfast sammie with egg, cheese, bacon, on an Asiago bagel with cheddar jalepeno cream cheese.....and ya this place is gonna do well. If you love bagels, or are semi hungover or if you have a long day ahead of you or if you believe in Trust, Love, and Respect, I promise this place will not let you down. I usually always come here for my drinks however today when I came I got a rude girl, not sure her name but she was blonde, taking my order who was very snotty. Then I get to the window and get handed a half empty drink?!! I nicely asked her what was going on and if I could get a full drink please, as you would expect with the cost being $7+ and she told me no because I asked for light ice. I was in disbelief as I always ask for the same thing, never had an issue before and she continued to argue with me!! Finally she took it back and just added a bunch of ice to the drink. The Bagels were great! But I did not know that when ordering 6 bagels and cream cheese, they refuse to toast them. Forgive me if I am wrong, but doesn't slicing and toasting a bagel just kind of come with the business? It shouldn't be this big feat to toast a bagel. You have to pay for them individually, ask for no cream cheese, and then buy the tubs of cream cheese in order to get a large order toasted(So you are essentially being double charged for the cream cheese because you don't get a discount when you opt out of the cream cheese being put ON the bagel). The logic isn't there. They will cut them, but toasting them is too much when I'm buying cream cheese separately. That's honestly not the only problem. The main problem is when I called to ask about them being toasted and how I make that happen because I was again unaware it wasn't an option. The lady I talked to was literally the websters definition of RUDE. I asked her if I could just be charged extra and have them toasted and she very rudely told me she "would toast them but next time I needed to do it right" and then hung up on me. This is not the first time I have had an issue with Brooklyn Bagels customer service or quality, and continue to put in weekly orders whether it be personally, for my office at work, or this time it was for a large group at work. I will not be returning. But given the lack of quality customer service, I feel they simply won't care. read more

Finally a real NY style bagel place! The bagels and the bagel (Bombers) sandwiches are terrific. The coffee is excellent and the staff is super friendly and patient. They have a nice drive thru with an easy to read menu board. read more

We came here from out of town for our honeymoon and we're pleasantly surprised by this great spot to stop for coffee. Got a Pumpkin bagel with cheesecake cream cheese and a pumpkin cold brew. Our first time at Brooklyn Bagel. After putting on our masks my wife and I went in to check out the menu, which has some nice bagel sandwiches and a variety of bagels. The waiter seemed new as he needed help to look up the price of their bottled lemonade. He was wearing his mask just under his nose when we arrived. It was below his chin by the time we left. I had the New York Style Reuben. There was a single layer of what was supposed to be corned beef, but was thinly sliced, dark brown and had little flavor. You have to speed up the drive thru. Food is good but I find myself driving 20 minutes out of my way so I don't have to wait 30 minutes in line while you only serve 4 customers. With Covid ppl are spending less so if you want them to continue to spend with you you have to be better. Awesome place but man it takes forever. 26 minutes today. read more

Sorry I was disappointed. Have bought Bagels in North Muskegon for years. Thought I would try Spring Lake since I was there. Bagels were too large very airy and more bread like. I am thinking there was problem with rise, perhaps to long. Will try again but will be careful since I want a bagel not a bun. read more
