Great bagels and great staff! I came here for the first time today and ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel with spicy garlic cream cheese. Delicious! Their cream cheeses are very freshly homemade and the bagels have a chewy texture. The restaurant is cute and has a nice atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. I've been here twice now. The first time I had a fine experience, the second time blew me away. Walked in just before noon and there was a line to the door. Thought about leaving but waited it out. Clearly they were super busy, but I had my food (breakfast sandwich) and drink (coconut nitro) within 5-10 minutes of the walking through the doors. Best breakfast sandwich I've had in a while and it was perfect to wash down with the nitro coffee. While the food was awesome I was more impressed with the customer service. They worked fast but did not make the customers feel rushed and handled the busy traffic with a smile on their face which is typically not the case at a restaurant like this. Well done! read more

We've been to this location dozens of times over the years, and can always count on the highest quality product and fantastic flavors. Squeezed onto a corner lot, the parking situation is extremely tight, and navigating the parking lot can be a little awkward. Inside we always find free tables and booths, as most patrons take their orders to go, and there are a few tables outside for the nicer weather. Service is fast, friendly and accurate, and their pricing is reasonable providing a good value for what you get. My 8 year old son doesn't like bagels from anywhere, but for some reason if you offer him an everything bagel from Brooklyn Bagels he absolutely loves it and demands to have one every day. Praise does not get higher from that ridiculously picky eater. Have probably tried all of the various bagel flavors they offer, and even though some are favorites and others are not, every one of them has always been of the highest quality, freshest product made daily. We've had most of the sandwiches, which are pretty good, and my wife always gets the lox bagel which I find to be excellent every time. My favorites are the everything and swiss rye. Have never really tried any of their other baked goods because we are only interested in the bagels. The coffee is good, always get some but have never been blown away. However, the other day when we visited I noticed they were serving Jamaican Blue Mountain along with all of the other coffees. This is one of my favorite coffees of all time, and I have only found one other place that serves it (JP's in Holland), and it's always twice as expensive. Here it was priced the same as all the others, and when I asked they said they do sell it whole bean and get it from Magnum. I'm not easily impressed or surprised, but this was definitely one of those times. Absolutely recommend as one of the best bagel places in West Michigan, somewhere we can always rely on top quality, taste, and overall experience -- a rare five star review from me and my family alike. Favorite place for coffee/tea and bagels hands down, with a lot of fond memories attached to it. The bagels are wonderful and come in a wide variety of flavors and come with a wide variety of cream cheese flavors that you won't find at the store. A favorite for many is the asiago bagel. Coffee and drinks are high quality as well. I would say their frozen drinks surpass those of any other coffee place nearby. (Frozen chai is amazing as well as rocky road which is unique and incredibly rich.) Service has always been friendly and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It's a great place for breakfast and lunch and a calm environment suited to everything from studying to meeting with friends. They also put out board games to play during the afternoon hours. The only thing I would be mindful of is parking, as it is on a corner and the lot is pretty small and difficult to get out of. Lines tend to get long around peak times as well, but it is well worth the wait. read more

I love the selection of bagels and coffee that they have - though my only complaint is they are regularly out of most of the flavors of each if I don't make it early enough in the morning. I came to visit my parents here in Michigan, from my home in wisconsin. We got breakfast here before I head back home and our order was so very wrong. My parents said that the last 3x in a row that they even went there that their order was wrong. My father even had them repeat the order twice, and still came back home wrong. Customer service was poor. I Ordered 3 coffees to which a young lady identifies what is what. I also ordered 2 bombers 1 spicy 1 not. I asked that young lady if she wrote something on the sandwich that would identify which one is which. She stated no we don't do that????? Used to go to the Whitehall Brooklyn Bagels as a kid and was so excited when they opened a few years back closer to home! I'm only in town 3 times a year or so and I usually have to make a stop every time I'm there. Decent prices and excellent food, highly recommended read more
