We had a myriad of options with two splitting a big burger, one child enjoying sliders and myself with the Ahi tuna nachos. Mine was really good with plenty of fish but almost too much spicy sauce. I don't really know about the wontons as nachos, but it worked well enough. All the other meals were well received. The garlic fries were more popular than the regular ones. And realistically we only ever ate half of what we had. Service was quick enough and welcoming. 3.9 rounds to 4.

These days due to my declining health I cannot eat out much so after a full week of nothing but full of dr. appointments and my last one being today at El Camino Hospital my husband asked me where I wanted to have breakfast (I rarely eat breakfast) He had mentioned Metro City and I said "OF COURSE!" When we walked in Nora was doing everything and anything to ensure her guests were well taken care of.... We hadn't been to Metro City in over a year and she immediately remembered us and the last place we sat in the restaurant. I was floored at her care for us..... The food was SPECTACULAR as always!!!!!!!!! These days I am not to eat such good food but in my crazy head my mind was " GO BIG OR GO HOME!" Had the Murphy's Hash Benedict with hash browns. OUT OF THIS WORLD! You can't go wrong with anything on their menu! It has always not just been about the food but the overall experience! Nora has a heart of gold! I so look forward to going back!

Definitely worth getting the umami fries as they were seasoned to perfection. A perfect starting side! Horsefeather is a perfect brunch spot to stop by and try in this Old Town and Country Palo Alto plaza. I have never heard of this chain nor in their other locations before and was definitely satisfied afterwards with their great dishes and their aesthetically modern decorated interior. The dishes here are American so you'd get what you typically get for breakfast from scrambles to French Toast, and we ordered the French Toast, the Chicken and Waffles, and a Salad during our visit here. All of what was ordered was perfect and beautifully plated upon arrival and out of all that was ordered, I have to say the chicken and waffles with their matcha butter & syrup was their standout dish. I have never seen matcha infused with butter but it was perfect and complimented the waffle just right. The chicken was fried and juicy inside and the waffle in general was toasted with just the right amount of crisp on the outside and soft interior. French Toast was a definite close contender too, where the toast was still gooey soft as expected and served with syrup & cream on the side. Salad was good but nothing too extraordinary about it. The staff here were all very nice and on a busy lunch day, I was surprised & pretty sure just lucky was able to get a table in less than 10 min on a Sunday. For weekend brunch, Horsefeather is a perfect spot to visit & enjoy the pre-afternoon before enjoying Palo Alto. I would highly recommend checking this place out and will definitely be back for more.

Our favorites were the kimchi deviled eggs, the miso linguini pasta, and the yuzu dessert. One thing I did notice was the seating arrangement. I had seen another Yelp review mentioning that they were seated right next to another party despite the restaurant being mostly empty, and we had a similar experience. Even with plenty of open tables, we were seated directly beside another group, making it easy to hear each other's conversations. It wasn't a huge issue, but a little more spacing would have made the dining experience feel more comfortable. Overall, the food and service were great.

I live in San Jose now, so I don't make it over as often, but I've always considered it one of my favorite places for a great burger. In fact, I was just telling a coworker this week how good their burgers were, which is what convinced me to stop in for lunch today. Unfortunately, this visit was a huge disappointment. I ordered a burger, my wife had the chicken tenders, and we shared an order of cheese fries. The burger arrived completely undercooked. The pictures don't even do it justice--it wasn't just rare, it was raw. After a few bites I realized the meat wasn't even warm in the center. Since they use pre-formed patties, I'd think cooking them consistently would be one of the easier things to get right. By the time I realized how raw it was, I'd already eaten a few bites, and the meal was ruined. We ended up spending about $50 on a lunch that was essentially inedible. It was also 1:00 p.m. on a Saturday, and the restaurant was surprisingly empty. Maybe that's a sign that things have changed, but it's sad to see. As a longtime customer, this wasn't the experience I expected from a place I used to recommend without hesitation.
