    Uji Matcha Violet Cream Latte
    Stephanie H.

I thought all the stellar reviews were due to people loving the aesthetic of the place and I was sure to be disappointed with the food portion, but I wasn't! It was delicious, both my food and my drink. It really is beautiful inside, probably the prettiest place I've ever eaten. The flower shop in the corner of the restaurant. Everything is very nicely decorated...One of the few restaurants I've been to in my life where I was stunned by how pretty the bathroom looked too! Haha. I had the Korean Palace Patty (with mixed salad) and Uji Matcha Violet Cream Latte. I had to get that drink when I saw it had lavender cream, so good! The Korean Palace Patty was very flavorful and portion size was fine for me. Staff were helpful. If you order through the tablet, they'll come back to the table to verify they have the order correct. Loved my time here and would definitely come back!

Parking lot available for easy parking. We were seated right away w/ our oar Parking lot available for easy parking. We were seated right away w/ our party of 3. We went on a Wednesday for brunch. Staff was friendly. We received water right away. We ordered on the computer on the table. Feels good atmosphere that was covered in flowers. There was a backdrop set up for pics too. The food was good. Coffees were bomb too. Lots of food on all orders - presentation was amazing on Croffle, salmon bene, and burger. Took 1/2 home. We would definitely go again. Great food, staff, service!Good spot to check out!

Had a delicious bday brunch here for my friend with a large group. Absolutely delicious food and drinks. A little limited as I'm GF, but I got a delicious omelette and potatoes. Gorgeous decorations and interior. Fantastic service with some lovely touches for the bday girls!

GIWA is such a super cute girly restaurant! When I first walked in, I was wowed at the interior design and the beautiful flowers by the entrance. I made a reservation for 2pm and was seated immediately. Parking was a bit of a challenge so be sure to come early! I ordered the Korean pork cutlet along with a matcha latte. The matcha latte was great but nothing special. The pork cutlet was delicious and super crispy! It came with a side of coleslaw salad and rice which paired well with the cutlet. Overall, GIWA is an aesthetically pleasing restaurant with great bites and you can't go wrong with going here for a nice brunch or dinner with friends.

One of our new favorites in Santa Clara! Stopped by GIWA with our friends after work & we had the best time. Arrived ~5pm, there was a solid amount of parking in the lot and the interior was really spacious. We were immediately sat & brought water while we looked at the menu. We got some savory items while we our friends were in a bit more of a brunch mood - loved how much variety that had available to choose from. My favorites were the Biscoff latte, potato honey truffle sando (using bread from Milldang next door), & the salmon tower.

Came here before for their brunch menu last year but now they have an updated menu. We got Buttermilk honey comb, Berry bliss pancake, Pork cutlet tonketsu comb, Mildang potato truffle honey, & the Giwa special salmon towers. I absolutely loved the cutlet tonketsu comb it was perfectly cooked and paired well with the gravy. I also liked the mildang potato truffle honey it was literally like a sweet and savory. The salmon towers also was refreshing with cucumbers and the tomatoes.

Tried the lobster garlic noodle, and it was really flavorful and creamy. I was worried that the lobster would be overcooked, but it was actually very tender. The black sesame French toast pleasantly surprised me with how tall the toast was (not flat like typical French toast), and there were layers inside similar to eating cake. French toast was not too sweet, which I prefer for my desserts. The service was amazing, I was holding the lobster shell and didn't know where to set it down and my waiter came over and told me to give it to him, with a napkin in his hands. The ambience was so beautiful, the restaurant is definitely one of those Instagram photo spots. There are chandeliers and flowers surrounding the restaurant. Even the bathroom was nice, which is important since you can judge a restaurant also by its bathroom.

If you're looking for a restaurant that feels elevated but still warm and inviting, Giwa needs to be on your list. The restaurant itself is stunning, with lush greenery, curated florals, and a cozy, upscale ambiance that makes it perfect for a special night out. Here's what we ordered: - Champagne Vinegar Beet Garden Salad - Corn Ribs - Prime Long Rib - Gochujang Glazed Bossam The standout dishes for me were the Prime Long Rib and Gochujang Glazed Bossam. Both are sous vide for 16 hours, making them incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Service was pretty quick. Everything was so pretty, yummy, and I had such a good time here! Perf for date night or even a girls night out :)

Food was just okay, low value for what you are paying for. Both the uni pasta and chopped steak rice was over $30. Both were a bit salty and we questioned why we ended up paying close to $100 for 2 entrees and one drink. The staff were nice but very absent, which is an issue when we were each given one small glass of water and we were rarely checked on. It took a while for us to get the food but the drink also took a long time until we had to wave someone down to check on it. It felt like a pay at the counter, get a number and sit down level of customer service.

SUCH a cute restaurant!! You are greeted with loads and loads of flowers right when you walk through the door - available for purchase! We came on a Thursday night at 6:15pm, and it was pretty empty inside so we were seated right away. The restaurant started to fill up a bit by the 7pm mark, but plenty of parking. There are tablets to order at your table, and the service is super quick once you place your order. For drinks, we got the einspanner latte and the biscoff latte, both iced. We got the classic rosé tteokbokki as an appetizer and the creamy corn kimchi fried rice for the main dish. The food came within 10 minutes of placing the order. The lattes were both very creamy, not too sweet, and pretty refreshing on a hot day. They also came with super cute heart straws! The portions of the dishes were quite large. The tteokbokki dish had plenty of long chewy rice cakes and soft fish cakes, with the creamy rosé sauce coating each bite. The creamy corn around the fried rice had a great cheese pull, and the rice was umami and flavorful. Since it is the grand opening, we were gifted two free ice creams - the strawberry & cream parfait and the banana & chocolate parfait. The strawberry & cream parfait had frozen strawberry chunks inside, and the banana & chocolate parfait was buttery, almost reminiscent of salted caramel. The milk cream on top of both was delicious. Very fun experience! I've heard the brunch here is amazing, so I will try that next :-)

We came for brunch without a reservation and waited about 20mins for a table. Parking lot here is shared among other shops in this plaza so good luck :-) Ambiance: 4/5 Spacious restaurant with super cute and modern decor! My fiancé described the interior as "girly" lol xD Service: 4/5 Minimal contact with staff since you can just order through a tablet at your table but they were efficient and quick. Food: 4/5 Uni pasta - Portion was on the smaller side for a pricey dish. But it was really creamy and tasty to eat and the bread was perfect. Omurice - Again, pretty small portion. There was way more sauce than needed but the taste was fine. Pandan latte - Pandan flavor is weak. Biscoff latte - This was good! We really enjoyed dipping the biscoff into the latte :-)

    Seoul Seafood Pasta

I came here for dinner and I want to try the breakfast soon bc I had a great experience. The service is very nice and attentive. The restaurant is very cute and the flowers for the shop gives a very nice ambiance. The food tasted great and looked even better. Definitely picture worthy. I'd be back to take my girls out, it gives girl vibes, I mean that in the best way. Although its a good date night option too. It's pricey but good for when you want to splurge. I highly recommend the Seoul Seafood Pasta, the sauce is delicious. The Fried Calamari was great too, the presentation made it even more tasty. The K.F.C (Korean Fried Chicken) was the best I've had, and I've only had it at Orchard City Kitchen-- its way better at GIWA. I ordered a decaf Madagascar latte bc their drinks looked soo good and it was late. The latte was absolutely delicious. Its slightly creamy and the expresso was smooth. I'd order a drink to go when in the area for sure. Their drinks are very good.

    Pandan coco matcha

The ambiance and food plating are unmatched! Most beautiful and aesthetically pleasing restaurant I've been to. The servers are kind and while you wait you get to explore and take photos in their small flower shop area. The food was above average, omurice and that breakfast platter was honestly just okay. The salmon tower is delicious and they give a generous amount of avocado and their butter spread to put onto the bagel. The ingredients are definitely fresh and delicious, I would get it again. Salmon is creamy however the other ingredients if you were to make a sandwich like me, it gets overpowered and flavor of the salmon is not noticeable at all. The garlic lemon lobster pasta is good but not the best. The sauce could be doing a lot more but they gave us a reasonable amount of lobster which a lot of places fail to do. The lobster is delicious. For the drinks, they're just mid. I personally got the dawn violet ade and the syrup kept settling to the bottom so I could only drink the top no matter how much I mixed it... Pandan latte was okay, can't taste it really, tastes a lot of coffee. Pandan coco matcha is also just alright, would rather get it than the latte in terms of the Pandan flavor.

I wanted to share a concern about a recent visit to The Cedar Room. During my time there, I observed a male manager or supervisor interacting with staff in a way that came across as rude, disrespectful, and belittling. Witnessing an employee being spoken to that way in front of guests created an uncomfortable atmosphere and reflected poorly on the overall experience. What made the situation even more disappointing was that after speaking to staff in this manner, the manager spent what appeared to be an extended period of time outside the front of the restaurant talking on his cellphone instead of being present on the floor. I believe employees deserve to be treated with respect, especially in front of guests. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as leadership sets the tone for both the workplace and the guest experience.

Within easy walking distance of plenty of parking and a parking garage if you don't find anything on the street nearby . Reservations were easy to make and they had a cute light up Happy Birthday sign waiting on the table! The ambiance was dark but had great ambient lighting . I loved the green velvet booths and decor , which evoked old Hollywood glamour ! Tables were set up in way that you didn't have to maneuver around them to get to the bathroom which was roomy and clean! There was a bat and lounge area to one side and seated dining on the other , Our server Camille was amazing ! So attentive and her timing got delivering each Sri name course was on point . Birthday girl asked for suggestions a fruity house cocktail. Instead of just rattling off the fruity drinks, she asked questions to personalize a suggestion and described each drink! The food was fresh and presented nicely. One of my friends and I decided to each order the poke tacos . I loved them! Even though it was probably an appetizer is the right amount for a light meal. My friends ordered the Korean spice chicken and pan seared salmon and they both complimented their meal. I can't remember the all the names-of the drinks except for the Miami Vice the birthday girl ordered . We also got her one that was served lit on fire ! After our first visit last night, I think it's safe to say it is probably the best Happy Hour offering in the SF South Bay. Good quality, good value, great service and nice club/lounge ambiance. Here's what we shared food-wise... * HH Garlic Noodles -- This didn't quite meet my expectation. Described as a "perfectly cooked pasta tossed in rich garlic butter", what we got was more like a soft udon type noodle with a rather starchy garlic sauce. The taste was definitely very garlicky, but the dish could have been much better with an al dente pasta tossed in an actual garlic butter or olive oil. * HH Wagyu Smash Burger -- This was yum! Great flavor, nicely grilled served on a toasted soft brioche bun. ($15 on HH versus $32 witha side of fries on the Dinner Menu :o) * HH Hamachi Crudo -- This was superb! Fresh generous slices of yellowtail topped with sliced lemon, jalapeno, tobiko and microgreens, perfectly matched with Ponzu sauce. ($12 on HH for 4 pieces versus $23 for 5 pieces on the Dinner menu) * HH Crab Cakes -- 2 medium sized blue crab cakes with diced mango and spicy aioli. Pretty decent for $14. * HH Crispy Brussels Sprouts -- Good standard fare. For drinks, we enjoyed... * HH Weather Pinot Noir -- Our server, Mikayla, said it was her favorite wine on the HH menu. It was very nice. * HH Mango Deck -- Reposado, Jalapeno syrup, lime and mango puree with a 151 rum flambee. Great drink if you like sweet, sour and spicy... and it comes with a show as the 151 rum is lit. Will definitely return. Would love to try the HH Grand Seafood Tower with oysters, yellowtail and salmon sashimi, shrimp and lobster ($65 on HH) which we saw another table order. Looks like a great place for a larger party celebration too.

The pork belly was very good. The noodles had a nice sauce. Both were good but we were just really hungry that day. For $85 not including tip, we needed more food afterwards. We should have ordered dessert. Service was fine. The server was familiar the dishes. I need to order more food next time or come when I'm only snackish.

Nice and spacious with lots of different types of seating: tables and chairs, couches and coffee…read moretables, stools at the bar, high chairs at a shared long counter-like table. It had an upscale vibe, but it was in the lobby of a hotel! The menu was interesting -- Japanese whiskey cocktails mainly -- and some food items. If you ask, you can get a little dish of nuts as a complimentary snack with your cocktails. The cocktails were delicious, like the "East Meets West", with most cocktails ranging from $16-20. They have a separate menu for wine and champagne that they brought us awhile later. I think you may need to ask for that if they don't give that to you right away. The drinks were delicious and made pretty quickly, but if you expect table service at this lounge, you may be waiting a long time. We found that the best way to get drinks here is to go to the bar to order, and they can bring the drinks over (or you can wait for them, of course). For the price, I'd expect better service but you may need to go further than Sunnyvale. Overall I think Nokori is a decent bar lounge, and I love the niche is on Japanese whiskey.

Lots of whisky based drink options as well as several beers on draft and select wines. Lots of specialty drinks too to tickle your fancy as yours truly isn't a big whisky drinker. Can also order from the full menu of Adrestia, official restaurant of hotel. Service is friendly and efficient. Prices for drinks range from $14-20- going rate nowadays. Cheers to 2026! Let's go and make it epic and elite, friends!

I wouldn't say anything was especially amazing, but it's a good option if you're a student or looking for a budget-friendly meal. The place was also pretty busy when we went, which says something! My favorite was the soy garlic chicken, it's the only thing I enjoy here. I personally didn't really enjoy the two soup dishes, especially the seafood soup (seafood tasted a bit fishy), but for the price, I couldn't ask for more. Overall, decent food for the price and a casual place to grab Korean food in Santa Clara, I would go back for the chicken.

The food menu is fairly limited, so it's clear that this is more of a drinking spot than a destination for dinner. We ordered the boneless soy garlic chicken and pork bulgogi. Both tasted good at first, but the sauces became increasingly overpowering as we ate, and we ultimately did not finish either dish. The flavors could use a little more balance. Overall, I'd rate the food a 3/5. However, if you're mainly looking for a casual place to drink with friends and share a few snacks, the experience is closer to a 4/5.

I had high hopes for this upscale Mediterranean spot in downtown Campbell. Lots of hype, but the…read morefood was average and service was all over the place. I thought some dishes were great; the wagyu burger was decadent. Other dishes were not that special. The scallops didn't taste too fresh (likely frozen) and combining them with hummus didn't quite work. The side of bread was practically insulting. $5 for stale table bread was a surprise. Dishes arrived very late; we were nearly forgotten when we tried to order, and then after ordering, we waited 40 minutes between appetizers and the main course. Not because they were cooking it; they just forgot we were there and when they brought out the dishes, the scallops were no longer just-cooked, and the burger had been sitting for a bit. No apology, just an acknowledgment it was late, and no discount (not even on the stale bread). They offered us wine, we said we didn't drink, and they just moved on. I debated a lot about how to review this. It's my personal experience that was disappointing, and I'm glad some reviews are very upbeat. But there's a handful of reviews noting frustrating delays... and that needs to be worked on.
