Brooklyn Chop House really exceeded my expectations. The ambiance, the music, the service, the food... everything was giving luxury dining with a fun vibe. The dumplings were insane, the steak was cooked perfectly, and the drinks had me feeling GOOD.

This was actually my second time in, but the first where we had food as well as cocktails. I closed out New Year's Eve here on the rooftop as Neyo performed over cocktails with friends and it was a great time and vibe. This week we came For the championship game and had a really great time. There was a female dj who had our head bobbing all night. The ambiance is great. Our server was sweet. TV's all over the dining area for great viewing. And an extensive menu. The size of the lump can on the fried rice was insane! That's a must order. Also the apple dessert is soooo delicious! It's been added to my next time list! When in Miami, definitely make a reservation here!

Food 100/10 Everything was wonderful. I missed photographing a few of our starters. I could not stop eating the duck. Service 5/10 Service began very well for our 8:30p.m. dinner reservation, but fell off after our main course was served. It took forever to transition to desserts, coffees and cordials. I felt forgotten. I could not stop eating the duck. Ambiance 10/10 One of our party said this spot is completely different from the NY location. The DJ was on-point. Nothing but NY hip-hop, we danced in our seats as we were too full to get up and move. Great vibe. The birthday boy commented about how young everyone looked ("under 40"). I could not stop eating the duck. Even with a bevy of choice Miami spots, I will circle back to this one.

Take the elevator up to Brooklyn Chophouse and be ready for a very sexy, upscale good time. The expresso martini is so good.. I had two and I was definitely feeling myself lol! I didn't eat this time because I'd just left from brunch but other friends did eat and they thoroughly enjoyed the Dim Sum,Crab fried rice, and oysters! There was a female dj serving up all the 90's,2000's hits while the championship game played on the TV in great view right in front of our table. I will definitely return to have a full 3 course dinner very soon! Trendy location right in Wynwood connected to the Moxy Hotel. Get dolled up and go check it out!

For our one-year wedding anniversary, we were only served water for 45 minutes. No one came to take our order. My husband kept trying to get a server's attention just to let them know we hadn't been helped yet. Eventually, a woman (I'm not sure if she was a server or bartender) came over and said, "What do you want?" Honestly, that caught me off guard--what do you mean, what do we want? We explained that we had been waiting for 45 minutes, and she responded by saying we'd have to wait a little longer while they found our server. At that point, I really wanted to walk out because of how we were spoken to, but we decided to give it a few more minutes. Thankfully, a server named Lauren came to our table, apologized sincerely, and completely turned the night around. Our appetizers and food came out quickly after that, and we were even given complimentary champagne for the inconvenience. Lauren continued to check on us and made sure everything went smoothly. We knew the situation wasn't her fault, and we truly appreciated her effort. The same woman who initially spoke to us rudely later came back to ask if everything was okay. I chose to stay composed, though I was very upset. My husband spoke to her, but I didn't even look her way. She seemed to know her behavior was inappropriate. The food itself was really good, but the service at the beginning was unacceptable. Lauren absolutely saved the experience, but because of the long wait and the way we were treated, I wouldn't return. I just wish I had gotten the name of the woman who was so rude.

The food was amazing abd our waiter Jiquel was just as exquisite. I would definitely recommend this establishment for any occasion. There is a live DJ after 8 pm which adds to the vibe.

The staff was incredibly nice and conversational. You can tell they are passionate about what they do. The food itself was all very good. The outdoor area that they have is super cute and was decorated so nicely. The weather was nice out so we were able to comfortably enjoy the area. Overall this is a very cute place that would be enjoyable for light snacks. Ruka Winewood has been on my radar for a while and I recently found out they have happy hours between 6-9pm, so what a better opportunity to give it a try. For a Wednesday night, they had a fair number of customers. I sampled their happy hour red blend pour. It was mid body, somewhat complex but low on tannins which allowed for easy and smooth drinking. The fruit content was moderate. It was the perfect wine for an early night, to sip and hang out with friends. I pretty much enjoyed the two glasses I had. Service was not the best to be honest. During the 1 hour I was there, no one checked on me. No one asked me if I wanted more wine, water or another pizza, etc. I was hopping to have their charcuterie board paired with wine, but they had no charcuterie. I asked for the pizza options and hey only had one out of the 3 options on the menu, only the cheese pizza. The pizza is not the best looking pizza, but it tasted delicious. The cheese was sort of smokey, that was delish. I would have that pizza again. Summarizing, I'm coming back pretty soon for their red wine, at $5/glass, you can't beat that up, specially when it is such high quality. I hope they have the charcuterie next time.

Every course was explained, paced just right, and the staff made the experience seamless. Each pasta dish felt thoughtfully curated and packed with flavor. You could really taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients in every course. The omakase format made it fun and somehow each dish kept getting better. The advertisement? Chef's kiss. Bolognese, truffle pasta, tiramisu .. I was drooling every time it crossed my feed. This was my moment. Unfortunately, the reality didn't quite match the vision they'd been selling. To be fair, I understand that the pasta selections rotate weekly and that's part of the omakase concept, and I respect it. But what landed on our table felt worlds away from what was being advertised. Not a single pasta with a protein in sight. We're talking cheese, pesto, and a cheese filled ravioli. Where was the Bolognese? The truffle situation? The dessert pivot from tiramisu to panna cotta felt like the cherry on top of a "close, but no cigar" moment. And then there was the wine. $22 for a glass that arrived looking like it had been poured by someone who was deeply committed to conserving every last drop. For that price, the pour should at least feel generous or at minimum, not make you do a double take at the glass. It was a small but stinging detail that added to the overall sense that the value just wasn't there. None of it was bad ...the food was fine. But when the advertising sets such a specific and delicious expectation, "fine" hits differently. If the menu changes weekly, maybe the marketing should too because walking in with truffle pasta on the brain and leaving with a panna cotta and a sad little pour is a little hard to shake. I haven't given up on Otto & Pepe ... I still want to experience the regular menu. But the omakase, at least on this visit, didn't deliver on its own hype.
