Very pleased with this place. My brother had just moved in the area and we were wanting pizza. Dominos is down the street but we came across this place on maps. I am glad I decided to take the gamble and go here because this place beats dominos easily. We are Simple people so we got the two large pizza one topping deal for $23 and change, and got pepperoni. I moved here recently from Long Island and worked in NYC. I have been spoiled by the best pizza in the world. Brooklyn Pizza is the real deal. They not only come close to NYC pizza, they nailed it perfectly. I really missed real pizza and now I can get it easily. I loved the look and taste of it. I will be back! First and foremost, I'm not from Brooklyn and I've only been to New York once, so I'm not an expert on NY style pizza. What I am an expert on is good pizza though since I married someone who loves pizza. With that being said, I do think this place is a solid, 4 star pizza joint! They didn't earn the extra star for 2 reasons: 1) the employees are not really friendly, which is surprising for being in a small town. 2) the crust is just a touch thicker than I like and it was very chewy ... Like, I cut it with a knife chewy. I saw a brochure for Brooklyn Pizza at the local hardware store and the woman behind the counter said a bunch of the employees lived in Bacliff and were raving about it. We were thinking about heading to lunch so we decided to give it a try. First of all they have only been open about a month. The inside was clean, there is outside seating which was nice for good weather days, and there were a couple of TV's on inside as well (nice flat screens). I think it was the owner that we spoke to when we ordered. You order at the counter and they bring it out to your table. We got a Cheesesteak sandwich (without onions and peppers since I was splitting it with my wife) and we also got a Pepperoni pizza. The Pizza is the best NY/NJ style pizza that I have had since I moved to Texas from the northeast over 30 years ago. If you are familiar with NY pizza, you know how the cheese is just a bit different that the normal pizza of chains. I think the only way that they get that taste is using that very high quality cheese that is used in NY Pizzerias. It is all fresh Mozzarella and just has that hint of grease that will drip off the end of a slice when folded in your hand. This is authentic and delicious. Next was the sandwich. The bread was wonderfully fresh and just a bit crunchy on the outer surface but soft inside and packed with steak and mushrooms. All in all, I will be back and I look forward to trying many other things on the menu. We have already decided that it is well worth the drive over to pick up pizza from here rather than any of the places that offer delivery to our house. read more

I have driven by this place so many times I can't even tell you. But I never went in.so today at being in the house and just starving to death I decided to give it a try. Based a lot on the positive reviews here on yelp. No I have never been to New York so I cannot tell you what a true New York pizza taste like.but I can't tell you these guys make a pretty good pie. I got the meat lovers and I was not disappointed it was a very good thin crust pizza I always like to give small businesses and local businesses a shot and these guys did pretty good. My mother and I had dinner for the first time last night at Brooklyn Pizza, and we have no regrets in making this decision! My family is not originally from Texas, but when we moved here two years ago we began the search for good pizza. I grew up eating New York style pizza, and when we moved down here we couldn't find any pizza that was the authentic New York style that we had grown to love. My family is very picky when it comes to pizza - thus far, in Texas, we've only had good pizza, but never 'Great' pizza. Brooklyn Pizza changed that! The pizza is truly authentic New York style, and my taste buds exploded as I tasted the pizza, nostalgic because these were familiar flavors to me. My mom and I split a pizza, and it was cooked to perfection. We also had mozzarella sticks, which were also fresh and delicious. Next time we'll have to try the garlic bread! The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the owner (I presume) came over to check on us! We will definitely be back, this is the best pizza that my family has had down here!! Owner was very pleasant and engaging. Be brought our salads. They were fresh and crisp. More so that at some of the tourist spots up in Kemah. The pizza seemed to take awhile to arrive. But the brief wait was well worth it. Very Brooklyn. Great thin crust. Folds just right. Slices cut to the right size, not this wimpy girly small slice size. We could not stop eating. Great pizza. Best I have ever had in life. The best wings in town. I stay in League City. And I have even esteemed at Pizza King. It's a family owned business. The place is small but family n friend a friendly. Byob. The father, who is also the cook, is a good man. My car broke down there, and he wanted to help, despite him having to make pizzas. To make a long story short, my fav meal is their hot buffalo wings, and their ranch dip. I loveeee it. The pizza I had reminded me of the NY street pizza, but not greasy. I had the supreme, sub jalapenos for mushrooms. Mama MIA. They are authentic Italians. They speak the language and all. Anyways, go try em. You won't be disappointed. No pics.
