They've definitely perfected the perfect crispy crust (not dried out or burnt with a nice crunch when you bite). If you are a crispy thin crust lover i would definitely recommend you try their slices. There is a food assortment of different slices to choose from. I have not had another type of food from here yet so I can't speak to the other menu items. The pizza flavors do not stand out to me, they aren't bad by any means but I feel like an added spice or something could really give it the oomph it needs to go from good to great. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. My one complaint with the atmosphere is we are in the thick of summer and there doesn't seem to be an AC cooling the place or maybe it's just not a good one, because they leave the door open even on hot days. The soup I ordered (pasta fagioli) was actually very good. It tasted fresh and it was hot when delivered. I did not care for my ziti. The sauce just had a funny taste to me and I was not a fan of it at all. It didn't taste bad per se but just wasn't for me. The pizza is good, but the customer service is the total opposite. I've been coming here for over a while now and while I've been greeted with customer service by the staff infront, who I assume is the manager or owner has been rude. I've made a simple request to the cashier for my slice I ordered and while she was busy doing multiple things at once she asked for his help to accomodate me and he ignored her right infront of both of us to do something else. This doesn't include the time when I walked in and he was belittling the delivery driver a while back infront of all the customers. Pizza - plain slices gets maybe 1.5 stars, and that's pretty generous. Super thin, so kind of floppy when you hold it and eat it. The crust edges didn't have much crunch either. Very bland, as they either skimped on the sauce or the sauce was watered down and had zero flavor. Plentiful cheese, but I don't want a thin soggy pizza laden with just cheese. They screen calls... haha literally pathetic! Anyway, gave them a shot a few times because of location since I work around the corner. If you call them to ask what pizza slices they have available, they get pissed off and give you an attitude. And then the best part -- when you call back after gathering your office order, they will literally screen your calls and not answer. It's hilarious! Was craving a chicken parmesan hero and decided to give Brooklyn another try. Previously I was disappointed but decided that maybe that was a one off. Not the case. I ordered the hero, and a grandma slice while I waited. The pizza was dry and stiff and tasted like cardboard with cheese on it. The sandwich came a short time later, it too was dry. The cheese was not on the chicken but mostly on the outside of the sandwich, and the chicken itself did not taste very good. The last three times I have ordered from here they have given me my pizza not only not well done but bordering on not even done at all. When you hold a piece of pizza up and it droops and all of the cheese and sauce run off of it onto the floor it is not done enough and probably not good pizza. That's the case here. Not good pizza. They'll give you a 40 minute delivery window and then show up 60 - 90 minutes later they'll place the blame on the driver or claim that they're busy.The quality of their pizza has become deplorable there's no consistency. Extremely rude childish girls as cashiers! Now I understand all these reviews that state how bad their customer service is, I 100% agree. We have been ordering from here for a while, my husband normally picks up the pies. Today I went to pick up my penne ala vodka and pie and when I get there, I get my pasta with chicken which I did not ask for. So I say "this has chicken, I didn't order this with chicken, did you charge me for the chicken?"- so this extremely rude girl by the name of Jocelyn answers "yes you did, you ordered chicken penne allá vodka" - um no I didn't because I never eat it with chicken. So she mouths off as she walks away with a nasty attitude talking smack as she makes her way to the kitchen. I proceed to tell the other little girl at the cashier how rude this girl is and that it's unnecessary and ask her to check if she charged me for the chicken that I didn't order - well now she has an attitude and asks me to relax! I asked for the owner and of course he's not there. So the chef comes and is very polite and apologized but these two nasty little girls continue their immature attitude. I told them how important customers are to a small business!!! And how poorly they are doing their job. I have been ordering from them since they opened because they deliver quicker than Goodfellows. After last night's order, we won't be ordering from them any more. We did an online order, which usually requires them to call us an clarify things because their online ordering is horrific. When the food arrived, my husband's order was wrong. He ordered the grilled chicken with broccoli and all he got was grilled chicken with a side of pasta. I have ordered this online before and they have called to ask if I wanted the broccoli because all the get from the online order is grilled chicken. So, this is a known problem that they have not fixed. My husband called them to explain the situation and they argued with him about what their order says. They finally agreed to fix the situation, which my husband that would mean he would get the grilled chicken with broccoli over the pasta, like it normal come. In stead, they sent broccoli and no sauce with it. My husband was very disappointed and called them a second time to tell them it was still wrong and he would not be ordering from them. Manager is rude and horrible when it comes to handling a complaint from a customer. Regular pizza and pepperoni looks like its made freshly everyday because it's the most popular, but when it comes down to SPECIALTY PIZZA they serve it from the day before. Also I ordered a chicken Cesar salad and it was served with old chicken mixed with new chicken, it smelled and tasted bad. From my understanding and experience with customer service, the customer is always right.
