    Plain slice

Came here while waiting for my wife to finish her mani/pedi. It has an old-school vibe the moment you walk in. The guy at the front needs to smile cause. Lol. It felt like he didn't want to be there. The pizza is ok. I could have used a little more sauce for my personal liking, but it's ok for a quick bite.

    To long in the oven

So I stop in to get a slice now I know I will take some flack for ordering Hawaiian pizza but I like it I don't like that it was in the oven so long that it felt like day old bread not pizza at all. And as I sat and waited for my two bricks of pizza I noticed that every person picking up had a problem with there order. My advice look elsewhere

    Supposed to be well done

It's a shame there are different owners.. Not friendly and they could clearly see I wasn't happy. Told the order would be ready in 15 mins, well that turned to 40 minutes. I asked for the pizza well done and this is what the bottom looked like.

I ordered a pizza pie with pepperoni and they gave me half a pie without pepperoni. I mentioned to Tony and he put more pepperoni on the pie. When I got home, I noticed that half of the pie was still without pepperoni. I went back to get a refund. He told me it was a mistake. Then he asked if I understand English. Is that how a customer should be treated? I wouldn't go back.

    White Pizza

I heard through one of the postings that there are new owners here. I haven't seen Tony in my last few visits. I don't recognize anybody the staff. They all seem to be Spanish speaking. Pizza still seems good to me. I live 15 miles away but I always come back here since I had an office nearby years ago. Good crisp pizza. I recently tried to thin crust Sicilian. A little greasy but still crispy. White pizza as always was superb.

We were a party of 8 and ordered from the family style menu (5 appetizers, salad, 2 pastas, 1 beef, 1 chicken, 1 fish, dessert). It was clear they were severely understaffed, and we were largely ignored until one of them finally said, "I will check on your table." The food was okay. The bread? Their stock answer was humorous after hearing it recites by all three servers: "It's in the oven" I guess practice makes perfect. Standard salad with balsamic, same as every mid pizza/food place I have been before. Red snapper special was way tough on the outside, like chewing leather that you never would really want to eat?! Best thing here was the pork chop, sweet spicy peppers, with onions yummy brown sauce, although the pork was a tad overdone. Overall, this place is a pass.

Service was tied with the food for first place! Starting with the friendly and helpful hostess, every single employee offered a greeting and a smile. Our server was Elijah, he was wonderful! Warm, friendly and professional. He was attentive and perceptive. He didn't hover but anytime we needed he re-appeared. We were greeted by two out of the three managers, 10 out of 10. Now for the food! We ordered the rice balls, maple wings a Pepper pig pizza and for my cocktail I had the blue Hawaiian. Every thing was delicious hot and freshly made. The outside and inside are visually appealing. I would describe it as modern meets industrial with a nice dose or rustic, very nice.

To make matters worse, a server took away one of the pizza trays while my dad was still actively eating from it--I'm not exaggerating. It was only 9:04 PM, and we were simply finishing our meal before leaving. On top of that, I ordered the Bucatini, and it was severely overcooked. My mom ordered another pasta that also wasn't good. Overall, a very disappointing dining experience with poor service and subpar food.

We were brought downstairs to a large room full of tables and were the only ones in there. We wondered if we'd insulted someone, or if one of us might be 'offensive', (no one was) but as it turns out, it was a 'Godsend'. We're all in our 70's and hearing/speaking can be challenging in a crowded/noisy dining room. We remained the only ones there for almost the entire 2 hours we were there and really enjoyed ourselves without having to yell or ask "WHAT!?" We shared a couple of salads (Greek and Arugula) and calamari, all very good. My wife had the seafood capellini and one sister the seafood fra diavolo, which they both enjoyed. My other sister had a seafood salad and my BIL went for the double cut pork chops, which he too enjoyed. I opted for the Halibut / risotto. Halibut is not an easy fish to make 'moist or juicy'. I make it at home and it comes out 'pretty good' (at least my wife says so) but here, this portion was fantastic! So light an flaky and tasty. Definitely give it a try if you enjoy Halibut. We all shared a couple of desserts... a home made carrot cake and a chocolate cake from 'outside'. Both good, but the carrot cake was served warm, which was a first for all of us... and it was terrific! Without a doubt the best carrot cake we'd ever had, so save a little room for their carrot cake if/when go. Our servers, Alyssa and Dagmar provided excellent service as well as some humorous dialogue while we were there. Made our meal just that much better!. Yes... it's a BYOB!

We walked in for lunch and were immediately seated. Though they also take reservations on Resy. We came dressed casually though the vibe seemed a bit dressier with the dimly lit interior. The restaurant has a clean, modern feel while still maintaining the charm of a neighborhood eatery. *FOOD* The menu offers a great variety of Greek-inspired dishes made with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. I ordered the lobster gyro, which was absolutely delicious. The lobster was flavorful and the combination of ingredients came together nicely in the pita. The dish also comes with a side of fries. *SERVICE* The service was friendly and attentive throughout our lunch. Our waitress was welcoming and checked in periodically to make sure everything was going well. Overall, great experience all around and it's the type of place you'd want as a regular neighborhood favorite. I'd definitely return and look forward to trying more of the menu!
