I've known of this pizza location for years and I noticed it had new ownership as of recently. They still have your normal pepperoni pizzas as well as other specialty pizzas but they now also have Desi curry pizzas. My sister and I decided to try their chicken masala pizza and we got the medium size. The medium size pizza was a 6 slice pizza. The chicken masala pizza was actually pretty tasty. Me and my sister really enjoyed the chicken masala pizza. It had a nice flavor and a nice amount of spice. I definitely recommend trying their chicken masala pizza. I will definitely return to try their other desi curry pizzas. read more

I remember going to Bruno's pizza factory when I was younger. It was pretty much my family's go to pizza spot in the area. I had stopped going for years, not for any major reason. However, over the years new owners took over, adding their own flair to pizza.Once I saw that this pizza spot now was serving desi curry pizza My curiosity got the best of me and I just had to try it. My sister and I ordered the chicken Marsala and boy oh boy was int delicious. The crust texture was soft and crispy and tasted very similar to naan bread. This desai styled pizza was delicious from the hint of heat from the Marsala sauce to the well season chicken bits. Highly recommend checking this spot out if you're in the mood for a quick bit. Was highly disappointed in the food usually when I order pizza from Bruno with a certain I received today was unacceptable. I was an old pizza with fresh toppings. We got takeout from here and it was terrible. The eggplant parm sub was soggy and inedible. The fries were hard and bland. The meat in the cheesesteak sub was rubbery. Probably microwaved. We got a mushroom pizza and whatever topping came on the pizza was probably sausage (burnt crunchy sausage). Our son got a calzone and the cheese inside was not even melted. Something weird is going on with the cheese on the bbq chicken pizza. By the time my wife got home (15 minutes away) the cheese was 1 solid block. I had to take out a pizza cutter to separate the slices. Never had to do this in my life. Also, the cheese went right up to and in some cases over the crust. I'm a big fan of the crust, so I did not appreciate the lack of a crust boundary. All that said, the flavors were right on. After a quick toast, the slices held straight and were crisp from the cornmeal. I've seen this technique before, but not in NY/NJ style pizza. This pizza underwhelmed me, my wife liked it. Wings were garbage. Absolutely no sauce or flavor, and underdone. The meatballs were oddly cut in half, not particularly flavorful, and the gravy they came in was gross. I don't know what it is about their pizza but I've been eating it for years (since my middle school days!). I'm addicted and will always come back for more. That's what Bruno's is all about. Everything else they offer is just average or below average. Always ask for your pizza to be cooked well done. Otherwise their pizza will just taste like any other average pizza. Well done makes the surface of their special, generous cheese beautifully dark and crisp while also making the cheese extra gooey and somehow taste better. Their cheese is just somethin' else. The crust is also better this way. It's crispy, not too thin and not too thick. Gives it some bite and that's great. Might I recommend the classic pepperoni pizza well done? There'll be some pools of oil (pepperoni, what'd ya expect?) but what's a little tissue wiping when there's crispy, magical pepperoni to be had? I tried this place for the first time a few months back and made a review on the pizza which was not good. It tasted old to say the least but I decided to give it another try. Today I walked in and ordered a spinach salad to go. Needless to say when I got home and opened the bag which he stapled there was no spinach at all. My salad was full of iceberg lettuce. I dont know if I'm more upset at the fact that they knew they didn't have spinach and didn't tell me or I paid for something I DID NOT order. It's not what I wanted, its not what I ordered and it's NOT what I paid for. Spinach and iceberg lettuce are NOT in the same price range. Tried to give this place 1 more try just to be disappointed. I won't be back to patronize this business any more. Being dishonest is a no go. read more

3.5 stars for pretty good pizza but I always suspect it's frozen or packaged. The crust is crusty and a bit salty. The cheese is good too. However they charged us extra for condiments take out. Bruno's was my go-to pizza place for a long time. They had amazing dough & crust, and such a reasonable price. But then we had an awful pizza from them and took a (year-long) break. Tried them again - same disappointment. Another year long break. Figured we would give them one more chance recently, but it was the third strike. They said that it will take 30 minutes, but it came an hour and 20 minutes later. Calling it lukewarm would be generous. The crust was white and bleh - no browning, no crisp. Thin and not well-cooked pizza. It's disappointing, given how good they were in the past. I wish them well in turning this around, but won't be coming back. read more

A good place for fun pizza. It is not a work of art like I expect from my favorite pizza dives, but it is still a good pizza. My favorite part is their corn-meal textured crust. It is delicious. The trinity combo (cheese, sauce, bread) is good, not the best, but good. It provides you with a satisfyingly satisfying meal. It is still lightyears better than any pizza that you get outside of the NY metropolitan area, however. What is nice is that the pizza is always fast and cheap! I still have memories of coming here when I was a young child taking joy of eating this pizza. Very fond memories indeed. read more

My boyfriend & I ate lunch there last week. We enjoyed the pizza. I ordered a slice with broccoli, they were very cheap with the broccoli. It looked like the just sprinkled a 1/2 of teaspoon of broccoli on my slice. I still enjoyed it. I've been going to Brunos for many, many years I really like their pizza. Last time I ordered a Sicilian it was small and thin. It used to be the size of the box and thick crust. That was disappointing. The reason why I am giving it 1 star is because I went and had a slice of pizza and dined in. While I sat there I took a good look around. The place is really dirty.
