I would not recommend ordering the Shrimp Po Boy. I got the sandwich and there was a total of six Shrimp on the sandwich along with the extra vegetables I wanted. Was told they only put 6 shrimp per sandwich. Sandwich was close to $18.00 which made each shrimp roughly $2.50 each plus the extra veggie added to the order. You can purchase a pound of shrimp for about $8.00 and get 16 to 25 shrimp in the pound. A total rip off. Definitely not how a Shrimp PO Boy is traditionally made. Shame, shame on the management of this restaurant for thinking this is an acceptable product to be selling to their customers. The manager we spoke with said we could try and complain and insinuated it would do no good and gave the impression the complaint would be ignored. The "brick oven baked" sandwich I got was not as advertised. The quality of meat and cheese put on the semi stale bread was grocery store knock off at best. The tomatoes on the sub were GREEN!!! For those who are like me that love pizza, I would really like to save you time and money, especially if you're new to the area. I was always looking forward to ordering from Brooklyn pizza because when they opened they had great pizza. But the customer service and the management are simply terrible. We had a bad experience and after calling right away and supposedly being taken care of by the manager and told they would cover the same order next time, whenever we called he was "never there". Recently, we gave them another try and the kid that answered the phone after seeming helpful, I got nothing but lies saying the food was on its way, and nothing got delivered for almost 1 1/2 hrs (Sienna delivery- max 45 minutes their estimated time on a Wednesday), I was told there was no manager on site when I called to ask for my money back after 1hr had passed. I requested a call the next day and didn't happen until I called again and "they were out of town". This person was supposed to call within the next couple of days, and no call. 3 weeks passed and no call back. After not getting a call back and giving this manager a chance to do good on his word, no call, and now it's "too late" to get my money back. Terrible customer service, terrible management and nothing but lies. I hope the owner if different from this supposed manager sees this and gets his business straightened out. It's a shame that a business that started so great has gotten so horrible because of the people that work in customer service. read more

Due to this establishment being fairly new, they need some improvements. However, I do believe they have the potential and the resources to make these improvements. We stopped in last night (1-12-19) just to sample them out since their new and grabbed a slice of pizza. For starters, the floor wasn't the cleanest nor was it the dirtiest, however, a quick sweep was definitely needed. The manager showed good customer service as she smiled and made appropriate eye contact when I placed my order. However, there was a server there who had her iPhone on ring, so we heard every notification sound her phone made. And she actually responded to every message in front of the customers. At least put your phone on vibrate, and respond to the messages privately. For food I kept it simple and ordered a slice of cheese pizza. It was very basic, nothing special. Although, there were a few random Mushrooms in my cheese pizza that I had to pick out. I guess for $2.77 for a slice of cheese pizza, you cant be too particular. All in all, I wouldn't rush to return back, just because it wasnt all that special to me. Also, they need to work with their servers regarding proper customer etiquette. Another tip would be to somehow tailor the environment to be a little bit more socialable. When we walked in, it was super cold, quiet, and just had this really stiff mood. In conclusion, if they could find a way to change up the ambience, improve the customer service, and give the pizza just a little bit more flavor... this place could really be a popular landmark in the community. read more

The food was terrible. The cheese sticks were also bad. I let them know that the food was not edible on the way out the door, and they did not care. I would not recommend this restaurant at all. OK, look guys. I was born in New York and raised in New Jersey for the first 27 years of my life. I know a good New York style pizza. This is definitely the most authentic New York style pizzeria in the Houston metro area. Bar none. The owners claim the ingredients, down to the water are brought in from the NY/NJ area. Although that sounds kinda wild, I honestly can believe it. This is the orange-oil dripping down to your palm-as-you-fold-it type of pizza. And it's absolutely delicious. Their desserts are pretty spot on as well and prices are very reasonable. I also love their website and online ordering system. It's actually very user friendly for a relatively small restaurant. After arriving I proceeded to pay for my food, then sit and wait for another 45 minutes on top of the roughly 25 minutes that had passed driving up there. Not to mention, having the privilege of watching 2 different people walk in, order, and receive their food while I was still waiting on mine that had been called in ahead of time. Finally, after asking about my order the ( what I presume was a manager) went to the back and returned immediately with my food which was no longer hot because it was obviously sitting in the back done while I was sitting in the front waiting for it.
