A piece of metal in my pizza . This is not a great feeling when you have porcelain vaneers. I saw my microwave sizzling,but thought both of it. As I began to eat my pizza,I bit down on a hard pice,not knowing what it was. I took it out of my mouth,this is what I found! I'm assuming this is a halal establishment,my partner and some family members are part of that community. I need answers,how do you think this is ok for me. I already have sickle cell syndrome. The blood I have now is barely keeping my heart pumping. To bite down on this,with my vaneers(porcelain) Not cool,I need a response or something said from. TBH I find the halal pepperoni pizza at 101 to be pretty good while it's nice and fresh. It's been up and down with the number of poxes offering a good pepperoni pizza. The boxer is my second favorite and I typically get half beef half chicken because I can. I have never been to this restaurant but I always order it via Uber Eats. Two LRG pepperoni pizzas is my go to order. Sometimes it's a bit greasy but most of the time it's just the right flavor. read more

It had light cheese as described and that was just perfect for our taste. Loved it. At $17 for large, it sure tasted great and was worth the price. The pizza was a to-go order, so went 5 minutes before they said it would be ready and ready it was. It was still hot when we got it home. We got little sachets of red chilly flakes and cheese to add on top. They have decent vegetarian options and will customize too. Loved the place, loved the pizza, will be back again. Fine pizza. Rude and lazy staff. We (party of 5) had to use the bathroom, walked in. Staff ackowedged us and we said we were using the bathroom. I'd gone and so had my friend and my friend and I sat outside the bathroom waiting for the rest of the party when we got yelled at by a worker sitting on his phone, claiming we weren't allowed to use the bathroom without buying something (there is no sign indicating such) so we bought a pizza that was admittedly hot and gooey but very bland. read more

Horrible pizza, ordered the meat overlord and when i got there some of the toppings such as smoked beef and extra cheese weren't even on there, when i asked the guy about it he said "oh the menu is like 7 years old" so be careful ordering cause what you see is not what you will get. If I could give less stars I would. I ordered from here on 3 December. Ordered two different orders of the Baked fries 101. The fries came cold, old, oil soaked, and had ABSOLUTELY no toppings, sauce or anything. I would have preferred they cancel my order rather than serve me this. It was disrespectful. There were miscellaneous scraps of cold meat on there though, no where close to what I ordered and the two orders were indistinguishable from each other. These were the last fries in the basket and they refused to drop more. Only explanation I can think of. read more

Ordered 2 large pan crust pizzas, garlic chicken wings and garlic bread. All halal! Pizza toppings were fantastic but the pan crust was dry and not crispy. They were super busy so not sure if that was the reason. Nuked it in the toaster oven for sehri and it was delicious! Will try the thin crust next time. Ok. So it's just a pizza joint. It's halal- that doesn't matter to me but because of it they are firstly overpriced for mediocre pizza. So I order a medium veggie pizza first on the menu. Mushrooms, spinach, cheese, peppers and onions. Great. It comes out. I only had large so you can take the rest to go. So guessing rough is proportioned but hey not bad. My friend had a medium 4 slices. I ordered a medium. Two cokes. Well over $32 with taxes and tip. So about to dig into my pizza and I see little black Os all over it. Son of a bitch it's black olives which I detest. I look up to the menu. No olives on this pizza. Ok do I make him start over? Nah. It's the first day of Ramadan, he just made a mistake probably. So get a fork and pick the olives off my slice, losing half my cheese with it. Few bites in, odd taste...look at it. There is yellow corn on the pizza too. Ok odd never had it but I like corn it was ok but like my friend said I thought they were yellow peppers what if I was allergic and there was corn all over the pizza. I was just ticked at picking olives off of e v e r y slice. They gag me I detest them and if they were listed on the menu I could have said "no olives please" and no problem. Ok olive problem aside while the pizza was still hot/warm I liked the crust, the sauce was not bad, plenty of cheese and toppings but picking off the olives slowed me down and it started getting cold and the middle of the crust got wet underneath and kinda doughy. So unless you have to keep a halal diet, this is a no for me. I don't know the rules but as long as a pizza place didn't put pork on your pizza you are good no? I think they just get away with the prices and mediocre pizza because they are Muslim friendly. Sorry Pizza 101 I won't be back. I can drive 2 minutes more down to Corelli's Italian restaurant and they have way more selection for a better price and better Italian food. okay honestly I really enjoy their chicken tikka pizza! It's so tasty and it's halal! Sometimes it isn't consistent with the topping customization I ask for so be sure to check to make sure it's right before you leave. Ask for well done as well because it can be doughy. I was really excited to try this place and I had to knock 3 star off because the garlic wings picture were battered and mouth drooling compared to the actual wings that came out which were completely naked is very deceiving. I also order a large half chicken tikka and half supreme 101, unfortunately the flavors were not able to help me overlook about the wing situation. There fountain system was down and the men's restroom wasn't up to it's very best.. so that's the reason for the 3rd star. The service and ambiance I enjoyed, they brought the food out which is nice for a pizza joint. I believe the chef brought it out didn't say what it was but I'm sure of self explanatory too. I'm not complaining at all about this, just FYI. The cashier helped me with my selection of the malt raspberry soda, since it's imported. It was quiet enough to have a quick easy dinner. The price we paid compares to papa johns, but it's consistent and there's the garlic butter that's included! Easily the worst Philly cheesesteak I have had in a long time. My fault, should have gotten pizza. Cheddar cheese, red onions and diced meat of some kind on a ciabatta roll made for a decent melted cheese sandwich, but NOT a cheesesteak. Long-term Customer, as least up until today. Probably ordered from them two dozen times. However, very disappointed in the new pricing. Price hikes have been added along with elimination of any combination discounts. The online menus still show the old pricing. On top of this, no effort has been taken to update the variety of ingredients that are no longer carry. Good pizza. But not the best I've had. Pizza 101 offers some unique choices in terms of their pizza flavors. I think what caught me off guard was the cheddar cheese in some of the pizza's. I'm only used to white cheese in the form of 'mozzarella, fontina, ricotta, etc.' on my pizza. The crust was too thick and dry for my liking as well. But other than that, the food was still fair game. We tried both the kebab & the chicken tikka pizza. Both, which had generous amounts of meat. Just a tad bit salty, but again, my experiences are from eating European style pies, which are prepared in a different manner. Still a good choice if you're looking to try specialty pizzas, such as the chicken tizza, kebab, etc. They fill you up quickly as well.
