Wow. This is the second time now I have ordered a delivery and BOTH times the "House Salad" I ordered was soggy lettuce, NO toppings. The house salad is supposed to have "tomatoes, olives, pepperoni. PLEASE SERVE YOUR SALAD WITH TOPPINGS! And FRESH LETTUCE. Unbelievable. I called the restaurant after it happened again. They didn't care. All I get is cheese pizza and house salad. Two things that are hard to find are a really good pizza and a really good stromboli. The latter more than the former, but I love both. Perhaps my all time favorite is Antonio's Flying Pizza, but they're a hike to get to from here. Thankfully I've found a good substitute, Brooklyn Pizzeria. First the stromboli; I hadn't found a decent one for quote some time but found it here. I'm not big on onion so I sub tomatoes--fresh tomatoes are hard to beat! Well made, lots of cheese, really good. Followed up with the pizza today, their Special (with tomatoes instead of onions!). Great, crisp crust, lots of "stuff" on the pizza, large portions of toppings, excellent flavor. I've had pizza from NY to here in Texas and I'd take this one any time. Manager Poli handles things well and is easy to work with as I do my substitutions. There are (?) ten or more pizza places right here, this one has my vote! read more

THIS PLACE IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND SERVICE IS HORRIBLE They have staff that wears plain white T-shirts at the register. This is not the first time. I can definitely understand if an employee runs out of clean shirts to wear, but this is like a regular basis. It just looks unprofessional and tacky. Then they have this middle-age bald guy with a beard - I think he's a delivery driver? - Who sits under the TV and just grunts and coughs and makes moaning sounds. This is not the first time. This is at least the third time I've seen and heard him act this way. It sounds disgusting and extremely weird. The owners of this restaurant really needs to read all the reviews and make changes. What happened! This used to be the spot for good pizza away from home. Perfectly crispy crust and the right amount of oil. However, tonight I just ate a Pizza Hut knockoff with soggy bread. It seems to be hit or miss. It USED to be 100% reliably great pizza. The last few times I regretted wasting the calories. Tonight was no different. The pizza tasted stale. I had been running around with appointments all day, so stopped in here to get 2 slices of sausage pizza to go for dinner. When I got the pizza home (less than 10 min), it was cold. It looked old and the sausage looked really old. The crust was not crisp like New York pizza is supposed to be--it was very soft and spongy. The whole thing was bland and so disappointing. I'm a former New Yorker and the folks in Brooklyn would be very mad that their name is on this pizza. So disappointing! read more

I got the gluten free vegetarian pizza. It was pretty good, but the crust was just cauliflower. And the toppings were unevenly dispersed.

I placed an online order to pick up an XL size specialty vegetable pizza. My order was ready on time and the staff up front was very nice and ready to help as soon as I walked in the door. The ambiance of the place seemed kinda dead with the place being kinda empty on a Friday night and the decorations being bare, but it seemed overall a clean place. Anyways picking up my order was nice and easy and I made my way home. The pizza was a good size for the price and held a good amount of slices. It was pretty salty tho. Overall just a regular mid pizza but would probably order again if need be. read more

I was pretty happy with this place. Ordered a Stromboli, side salad, and loaf of garlic bread to take back to my hotel room. It was not ready at the time my online order said it would be, and the dining room area is pretty bare. The garlic bread was fine, the side salad was actually the highlight as they added some onions and peppers and pepperoni and cheese so it was fresh and delicious, and the Stromboli was pretty good but the dough seemed a little undercooked overall. They only deliver in a 5 mile radius, which is fine. I'm in the radius. However, I would assume that my pizza would make it to me, and still be hot, if I'm in that area. I was quoted 45 mins to 1 hour. It arrived in about 90 minutes and was room temp. I don't know how they can't keep a pizza hot for a 10 minute drive. I'll never order from here again. read more

I've definitely been longing for my pizza from my favorite Brooklyn pizzerias back home. We cautiously gave this place a try and they didn't disappoint. My husband and I just moved to the area and thought we'd try this pizza place, as I love NY pizza. First, they have online ordering disabled, yet the IVR so kindly told me I could order online. I'm, no ma'am you can't. The man who answered the phone sounded bored and like I was bothering him by trying to order my pizza. Which came to $30 I might add. I have no problem paying that much for quality. HOWEVER, when we got home and took out the pizza, it was barely cooked, the crust was soggy and the cheese was gummy. 5 stars for the pizza and 1 star for service. The grandparents drove hours to visit us here in SugarLand and wanted pizza. My sister wanted Pepperoni's... I wanted Brooklyn... I won. Keeping local businesses in mind, I was excited to show them this place. We arrived at 9:00 (they close at 10) and we have never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant before. You would have thought we showed up a minute before closing. A worker in a bandana, who was not wearing a mask, made it very clear we could not eat inside. She even tried to deter us from ordering at all. They told us we could order to-go so we did and waited outside. When we came back in at 9:15 she yelled "we're closed" again, not realizing we were the same group as before. Three guys came to order pizza to-go. She said "we're closed" to them. They asked, "what time do you close?". She looked at her clock and said "9:15"... it was 9:16. After they told her they drove 20 miles for the pizza she slapped the table loudly and said "okay." The worst service ever. This business won't ever be able to reach its full potential with a worker like that. The other two workers, one of which seemed new, were nice and pleasant. I love thin crispy crust and the simplicity of a plain cheese or pepperoni pizza. To this point, I can definitively say that I prefer the crust here to almost anywhere in Houston. It has a great crunchy crust, perfect cheese/sauce ratio (little flop), and overall satisfying texture. The sauce is flavorful with a nice tang and the cheese (while slightly greasy) is pretty damn good. This is a case where the deliciousness is greater than the sum of its parts. Two slices and I'm good to go. It's one of the closest to a real NY slice you can get in Houston. read more
