We've been coming to Brooklyn Water Bagels for a while and it's always a good breakfast spot. I had the rosemary salt bagel, which is a current special, with bacon and veggie cream cheese and enjoyed it. My boyfriend got the corned beef hash breakfast sandwich on a salt bagel. He said it was good, but the hash was mostly piled in the middle instead of spread out, so it wasn't his favorite thing he's had there. They make their bagels, coffee, soda, and ice with Brooklyn water, which is a cool touch, and the prices are good. Overall we enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back. read more

Visited on a Monday afternoon, there was no business, and we were the only customers, yet they were out of many popular bagels, such as an everything bagel I wanted, so, I opted for a garlic bagel. I wasn't very hungry and decided to keep it simple with just a nova lox cream cheese schmear. I could see a few bits of the orange lox in the cream cheese, but flavor-wise, I couldn't discern any lox flavor or saltiness at all. Maybe just faint hints at best. Update since my prior review from five years ago. I'm here all the time because they sell Martinelli's apple juice, which is my favorite! Convenience is key, and my office is just feet away. So, of course, I am here a few days a week. The girls working the front counter are super nice, and I like all of them. They are all friendly too, which is great. The bagels are popular in my office as well as the breakfast sandwiches. I heard they are very good. Today, I brought in muffins for my coworkers, and everyone liked them. They still have the coffee ice cubes, which is great, so your iced coffee won't get diluted. I'm off caffeine, even decaf, so for now, I am staying away. They do have good coffee, though. I am a fan of this chain. I have one in Hollywood and I have always liked the bagels. I was happy to have found this location. The shop is in a strip mall with plenty of parking around. It has a big outdoor covered area. The inside is a good size and the place is nice and clean. I found the service good and the bagels good. You place your order at the counter and they give you a number. The coffees are self-serve. They do have a good variety of flavor coffees and creamers. someone brings your order when is ready to your table. I got the Williamsburg. It is what I usually get. Maybe it's me but the bagels at this location seem smaller. The sandwich did taste good. What I like about the chain is that it has a big window. sometimes you can watch them make bagels. I actually had gone to the place a few doors down (Living Green) and had a terrible experience there-so I walked over and got an everything bagel scooped out toasted with an egg, spinach, cheese and mushroom. This is a conflicting review for me. The customer service was excellent!! All the way around! The ambiance is also very nice. They have an outdoor seating area that's covered so you don't get hit with direct Sun making it pleasant to sit outside. BUT.... the bagels are small, thin and the amount of cream cheese they put on the bagel is very minimal. It's not an authentic NY bagel. The Iced coffee is good. They have 3 types of flavors and also have coffee ice cubes which is a plus. But since I'm still hungry, I don't think I'll be back. . Maybe for an iced coffee. read more

We have been loyal customers to Brooklyn Water Bagel since 2016. Being from New York, we appreciated that they could produce a New York quality bagel in Florida. We would go 3 times a week. This trip we had 2 really disappointing experiences. First time the bagels were so dry we threw them out. We let them know and the GM Tony said we could call next time to ensure they were fresh from the oven. Not quite the response we anticipated. Thinking things would improve we went again ordering veggie cream cheese on our bagels. Not only were the bagels dry again, but the cream cheese didn't even cover the bagel. We wrote GM Tony again and 4 days later no response. This is not the same Brooklyn Bagel food or experience and they have lost our business. Einstein Bagels is now better than this. read more

I used to come here every day. I loved this place. I love their coffee. I love their bagels. The people who work here are great. But today I FOUND A HAIR IN MY BAGEL! It was a short wiry black hair. My hair is long and blonde. At first they said it couldn't be their hair because they wear hairnets. Only one person was wearing a hair net and it wasn't the chef. He was just wearing a hat. They gave me a refund but that's not good enough because SOMEONE'S GROSS NASTY HAIR WAS ON IT! I ate that! Disgusting. I can't believe I ate that. I'm so mad they got defensive about it. I have gone there a handful of times, but my parents get our bagels and muffins from this establishment all the time. They taste very good. My only criticism is they are a little doughy, but all things considered they are the best you are going to get in the area. The muffins are fantastic. Came here this morning hungry and left hungry. Such a let down. We ordered one vegan cream cheese bagel and bagel with white fish. When we asked what brand of vegan cream cheese they use, the girl went back to find out. When she returned she told us the name and said they were out of both the plain and scallion. I asked about the white fish and she said it was in the case. But, none was there. She told me I'll have them make some more and put it out. Brooklyn water bagel although it's a chain and franchise has good bagels. I used to visit my girlfriend when she worked in the area in the shopping center and we would always go here for coffee. You know this is the best place to come for a coffee you can make your own coffee anyway you want they worked really hard. They have incredible timing with the food. If there's a line that's usually a five minute wait which is not bad. There are bagels are so New York tasting that I prefer them over any other place they're better than H&H, which by the way Don't go there it's terrible H&H, but Brooklyn water bagel has really perfected in New York style bagel, which is utterly the best bagel I've had down here and there are a lot of bagel places, but these guys that founded this chain and franchising it out, I would be happy to own one of these places that would be a gold mine. Their stores are clean I've never had such a great bagel in my lifeabsolutely awesome tasting. I usually get the asiago bagel, which is so good.
