So I used to come here regularly, but as time went by the place has been going downhill from bad health inspections to poor quality. So today I decided to give it another try, no A.C no sign on the door, ok. I ordered an Ice coffee and an everything bagel not toasted with cream cheese. I leave my bagel was toasted but more importantly the ice coffee the creamer was spoiled and you can see that in the picture. The place is dirty , poor management and fortunately there are several other bagel stores in the area.

First time here and I'll be back for sure ! They conveniently opened at 6am and made my bagel as requested with no onions - Bravo ! Pet friendly and easy parking !!

Yum yum yum. I am a huge fan of Brooklyn Water Bagel. They used to have more locations that closed, so I was thrilled to find this location. It's in a shopping center in a central part of Boca with a ton of parking space so you can easily access the restaurant. The food is always consistently delicious. From their egg sandwiches to their muffins, you will love everything you eat here. They have seasonal flavors of muffins, don't miss out on these! I will also say the prices are pretty reasonable. They haven't raised their prices ridiculously high like others. The service is pretty fast both at the register (standing in line to order) and when bringing out the food. There's plenty of seating with outside tables as well.

They could fix this place by closing and going out of business! Food is good and prices are reasonable but service is sad.

Regardless, it's near my office and I stop by at least once or twice a month. The bagels here are not as good as the NYC location, but they are still solid. Good bite, crispy crust, a little chewy on the inside, with a touch of sweetness. I see a lot of people claiming that these are not NY bagels. These are the same people who proudly state, "this isn't NY pizza!" every time they have a slice anywhere outside Long Island and the five boroughs. I'm from NY. I lived and worked in NYC for over 25 years. Yes, the pizza, bagels, and food in general - is better in NY. That said, south Florida is no slouch. There's some incredible food down in this area. H&H overcooks their eggs (order the scrambled soft or over easy), has mediocre coffee, and could charge slightly less. If you're looking for a life-changing experience here, you may be disappointed. If you're looking for a sesame bagel with scallion cream cheese, bacon and tomato though, you could do a lot worse.

They have 10 to 12 options for various bagel sandwiches and it's mostly takeout. There are a few tables but they are small. The place was empty when I got there and I ordered a sesame bagel with nova cream cheese, avocado, and onion. The sesame bagel was severely undercooked even though they toasted it. It was not very good. The other sandwich was egg and cheese on an everything bagel. This bagel was a little better but still did not have the right consistency. The sandwiches were under $10 each and the place look clean but I will not be going back. With so many bagel options available this place falls to the bottom of my list. This definitely must be a franchise and I had heard a rumor that they send bagels down here half baked and finish them down here which I do not know if that is true but if it is they need to stop. Most likely would not come back

This just bested the former gold standard for this sandwich (now not even edible)! The service was friendly and accommodating. I implore my flow Yelpers not to drive ratings down because of a condiment left out, a delivery gone awry or any other non food malfeasance out of control of the restaurant. I also wish Yelp management would consider allowing a code which would tell readers/Yelpers how the food was obtained? ( in house, pickup and delivery service and online vs in person and in person carry out?) Again I recommend Bagel Works, highly!

Unfortunately, the bagel chips turned out to be cinnamon-flavored, which I really don't like and wasn't expecting at all. When I mentioned it, the waitress said that's all they had--but it would have been helpful if she had told me that so I could choose something else. To her credit, she did bring me a toasted everything bagel (scooped out) instead, but by then it had already disrupted the meal a bit. The issue wasn't just the food, but the communication--if I had known ahead of time, the experience would have felt much smoother. My husband had a pastrami with cheese sandwich and loved it, and my son enjoyed his strawberry cream cheese bagel. Portions were generous--I ended up taking home half my salad and half the bagel. Overall, I'd say it was just okay. Next time, I'd probably stick with something more predictable like an omelette and double-check any sides. This seems like the kind of place where it's best to go with the "known wins."

Aside from the questionable plaza, the free parking was plentiful and directly in front of the eatery. Ordered several sandwiches at the walk up take out window that posed some confusion by two servers. My attempt for them to crack a smile was futile. But the food was prepared quickly and looked and smelled fantastic. The pastrami (does NOT include melted cheese as a standard topping - $2 more !!!) sandwiches were NOT oversized with two small sides (cole slaw was great but fries limp) for the hefty price of $18.00 which may strain a few wallets. The inside was very basic and required a face life unless the intent was to keep a retro image. The gender assigned bathroom was basic and clean with brown porcelain floor tiles and an oddly positioned dining room chair next to the garbage can. Basically, this was a legit jewish style deli with very good tasting pastrami sandwiches and a tiny kosher spear pickle. Did not really anticipate anything extravagant.

The bagels here are fresh enough that they don't need a toaster to begin with, which is exactly why I asked for it untoasted. Even with the unnecessary trip through the toaster, it was still a really good sandwich. The tuna salad is creamy, well seasoned, and they even let me sample it before ordering, which is always appreciated. Confidence in your food says a lot. The pickle on the side had that perfect crisp snap every good deli pickle should have. The only thing that missed the mark was the macaroni salad. The flavor is there, but the pasta was overcooked and a little mushy. If they tighten that up, it's an easy win. The restaurant itself is surprisingly large, clean, and comfortable, and everyone I dealt with was genuinely friendly. Overall, this is the kind of neighborhood bagel shop you hope to find. Good food, good people, and just enough personality to make you want to come back.
