I usually stop by when I am at Dekalb Market but it's been awhile - luckily, I had time to kill. The menu is a bit different- it used to be on the wall but now they actually have it printed out and place on the counter. today is july 28 and around 1:40pm, the very rude and condescending lady that is working behind the bar should learn a lesson on prodessional. She rudely aporoached me as I was waiting for someone while seated for no less than 2 mins. I work in the market hall and I usually bring my lunch over there when the other gentleman are working there and I always ask if it's ok if I have my lunch there and they never have a problem with it. Today as I was waiting on my coworker, there was no one behind the bar so I sat and played on my phone for less than 2 mins when she rudely came up to me saying "can I help you?and I said, "I'm just waiting for my coworker" mind you, there was no one being served and all seats were empty and she wasny even behind the bar when I sat so the entire bar was unoccupiEd. she continued by saying, "I actually have someone who's coming back over here to eat their lunch." And I said, "ok I'm not taking up the other 6 chairs while waiting for my coworker." She walked away and I guess thought about it then rudely came back saying, "hey you actually need to get up and leave now" I said "who do you think you are to speak to me this way? I haven't don't anything wrong and I haven't been rude to you but you've been nothing but rude to me" she continued and yelled "you need to leave now". I got up and I left and I immediately tried calling this number to speak to someone but it wasn't working so Im leaving thru review instead. There was no reason for her to be that rude and I don't stand for disrespect especially when I always show respect. read more

Warning that these drinks are strong but very tasty! I had the frozen white sangria which was only $12 and totally worth it. It is in the DeKalb market hall, so service is pretty quick and not much of an ambience, but I don't think anyone is there for that. It's a nice place to go and grab a drink if you are getting food in the market or going to a concert at the Paramount theater. read more

Delicious frozen drinks! I was able to get some small samples from the staff and get recommendations. In the end, I ordered a mango + margarita mix for myself, and the watermelon for my friend. My friend's watermelon one was extremely boozy, but super tasty! I also really enjoyed my mango one. The prices are really affordable/ good value too. It's also easy to find at Dekalb, which is super convenient too. Although it can get busy during Friday nights/ weekends, I was able to quickly get served and checked out. read more

Loved this spot, the Brooklyn wine cellar is definitely a must if you're visiting, shopping, and or having lunch or dinner at the dekalb market. Before making my decision on the mango flavor the gentlemen allowed my friend and I to try peach, and rose. The peach was alil tart. The rose was good but the mango won the taste test. Just the right amount of sweet, refreshing, and packed with punch. I can't even imagine what down there is gonna look like once it really starts to get warm out. The gentleman was friendly, and patient, detailed. There is also bar seating so if you want to sit and drink one or two or three drinks you're more than welcome. I have seen the good reviews for this location and wanted to try it. When I arrived I found parking in the front. The wine cellar is located inside of a mini mall. I found it by the food court area. I was greeted when I arrived and Chris served me. He let me taste the frose and the margarita and I went with the frozen margarita. He said it was the strongest but it really wasn't lol but it was good. It came to $12. I had a good experience. read more

It's Good I am new to the Brooklyn Neighborhood and I was searching for a bar to have a couple of drinks with my friends. I found this place and we went to taste the famous frozen wine / frose / wine slushy. The place is inside the mall and is like a basement market style , where you can find different establishments with all kind of food and drinks. There is communal tables where you can seat after buying your food or drinks. After wondering around the market we came to this place. It was empty and I am not giving this place 5 stars because the bartender were a little bit rude , it was Wednesday so I guess is not a busy day for them. We ordered 2 frose and the taste its unbelievable good !!! Usually for me I always found frozen drinks not very tasty, but this one proofed me wrong !!! Quite a special place I have to say. The staff is full of personality and great conversation. Hospitality is everything. They have all different flavor frosee which made me so happy, especially that they had a yummy MANGO FLAVOR. People mix and match the different flavors. They also don't bother you to pay until you're leaving. It's just a cool good vibe! read more

For what it is, this is a must when you visit Dekalb market. Like this is the drink of the market while you and friends decide what to treat yourselves to in the visit. We went across the board trying the frose, margarita, and one more I unfortunately cannot remember, but it was like a white wine slushy. Of the 3 the frose was easily the best, and the most creative. The margarita is the closest you will get to a nice margarita outside of an actual mexican establishment. First time visiting DeKalb Market with my friends! I really wanted to try the popular Frose here, but they were SOLD OUT. The employee here was extremely friendly. He recommended us to try the margarita and the watermelon slush since they were both really good! We ended up getting the margarita because it was not only tasty but strong! It was a wonderful combination with my kebab meal. LOVE the margarita! I hope next time when I come back, their Frose won't be SOLD OUT again! read more

I was visiting family in Brooklyn but was having a severe allergic reaction to cats, so I had to get a hotel the last night of my visit. I was walking around Target for Benadryl, when my mom and I noticed the market-type place in the bottom floor of the building. We were looking for pizza, but frosé seemed like it would refreshing. Plus, I've been wanting to try it. We had a great time talking with the staff and hung out for about an hour. Few things to say about one of my favorite spots in Brooklyn: 1) thank God for introducing me to frosé!!!!!!!!; 2) one of the friendliest and actually knowledgable wine staffs I've encountered (and this is a basement folks, so pay attention brook and mortar stores; and 3) I'm a wine lover but some of your prices..... mmmmm..., this isnt the Savoy, get some more reasonable ones and more folks would buy or alternatively, get rid of one of your wine coolers and add more frozen- frozen pomegranate anyone?!? This place is legit, half my Insta is snaps at this place. Keep up the good work and well done on your staff- they are legit awesome. read more

Frosé all day! Living near the Dekalb Food Hall means I take friends here all of the time. We stop at Brooklyn Wine Cellar first to grab a tasty frosé to sip on while we browse all of the food options. By the time we make a decision, it is time for another frosé to have along with our meal. Frosé is also an excellent dessert option, although there are other delightful contenders in the market. You've got two flavor options: a rosé with strawberry purée, and a white wine sangria. If you're feeling crazy, they will give you half and half. Do not be fooled by the frozen nature of this beverage-- it is enjoyable year round. Also, the frosé-tenders are all wonderful, so be sure to say hi when you get your tasty boozy treat. read more

Employee stole my credit card Oct 2nd and used it Oct 4th and then attempted to use it again after the card was closed on Oct 9th on Wyckoff. No where near the wine bar. I can tell this isn't the first time they have done this. I am filing a police report. Even after I closed the account he attempted to use it. I thought it was suspect when they spoke about how stupid customers were for leaving their credit cards there and how they throw them away the same day. All lies and No one asked that, so I know it was one of those 2 employees. I suspect it was the black one, because his attitude was nasty and disrespectful and there is no way to reach the owner. read more

After my most recent appointment, I made time. A chalk board sign out front, advertising frozen drinks, really drew me in. After being told by my doc that I'm still fat and only getting fatter, a buzzy, tasty drink was just what I needed to lift my spirits. Myrtle Wines is a nice looking place, stocked full of beautiful bottles of every type of wine. I was directed to the back of the store to choose my beverage and then sent to the front again to pay. I was finally given a casino type of token to give to the drink maker. The drinks are poured from slushy machines. My frosé selection was so boozy, frosty and great! I had to pull the cup away from me and just stare at it for a second. That drink was hitting me in thee BEST way on the first sip. I'll be frequenting Myrtle Wines & Spirits this summer for sure. Good stuff!

BLACK-OWNED BUSINESS!!…read more I happened to be in the area and came across this wine shop. I didn't stop in at that time but I bookmarked for a later time. A few weeks later, I popped in to check it out. As I first walked in, I noticed that it was inviting--unlike some other liquor stores with the bulletproof glass. They have wine for all budgets and the pricing is in sections and the actual price is on the floor. I've been here twice and I like the atmosphere. There are a few wines that they don't carry but I've tried some other wines that was new to me. The service was good--the staff offered to help me if I needed it but didn't hover. Also, it's a Black-Owned business. You can join their rewards program and they deliver as well. I definitely recommend this wine and spirits shop.

Upon entering the store you immediately see on your left a good selection of top shelf whiskies. I opted instead for a bottle of red wine, and not being a wine connoisseur I ventured into the the staff recommended section where you can find highly recommended wines for not a eye popping price! While checking out the service/check out was great and I was even able to sign up quickly for their free membership which gives me points on every $ spent that I can use in the future. I will certainly be coming back throughout my time here in Brooklyn!

Kril was behind the bar and Nate Moises kept everyone smiling. It's a chill spot with outdoor seating for about 20 people, one bathroom (noted ), and a great happy hour from 5-7 Wed-Sun.
