I say this because I tried the almond danish on my first visit and it is so delicately delicious I have never found a need to venture beyond that taste treat. I often get breakfast and then bring the pastry (which is huge) with me to nibble on, and put a smile on my face, all day - & it stays fresh! They have a limited lunch and breakfast menu. However, I find it has significant enough variety that me and my guests have never had a problem finding something to enjoy. I have had breakfast there, never lunch. I find what I have eaten reliably tasty, but it does not rock. For the food I would put it in the low 4 category, pastry an absolute 5. Coffee blows away the chain coffee shops and I find it very tasty, not bitter. They do all the fancy drinks and they execute the one I always get - cappuccino - extremely well. My one bit of advice is to ask for the coffee in a mug if you are having it to stay because otherwise it will be served to you in a paper cup. I find paper cups cramp the froth into a small area and ALSO blocks your nose from getting a good whiff of that awesome coffee smell. Smelling is a huge part of taste - so do not forget the ask - there is no up charge for the real mug. Plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating with variety in the indoor, ranging from a very large, family style, round table in the middle of the room, to bars at the windows and tables throughout - with plenty of spacing. The outdoor seating is behind the roastery and consists of wooden picnic tables. This is complimented with an extremely unique and , obviously, cared for garden with a variety of flowers and evergreens. Finally, the service. One orders at the counter where my only experience has been one of patience, informative and courteous order takers. You then find a seat or you can wait for your order at the counter. The coffee is prepared immediately and, I have found, the food is prepared efficiently. I have nothing but very positive interactions with staff. Do note that they have a drive up window as well. Located directly across from the Tillamook Creamery: extremely convenient if accessing the Coast thru Tillamook. All in, I would rate Five Rivers about a 4.5 - Enjoy the experience!

About the same price as an espresso shot. Not worth it for me. Service was friendly from the female cashier. Interior is small but with plenty of seating. The location is right across the street from Tillamook creamery, but there are no crosswalks to get there. Crossing the street is a bit sketch. For a coffee roaster, I expected better quality.

Latte was very solid. You can have an iced or hot and regardless it comes out in a glass (but it does have the sleeve to protect your hands!). No complaints about this tried and true classic. The strawberry matcha latte is dependent on your personal preferences. I personally found it a little on the sweet side. It was better after I had mixed the drink some, but still a tad bit too sweet. It was a good matcha flavor though. Grab your laptop and your friends and come by to Margin to try out some drinks! They also have food, but I came for the caffeine.

Small inside with limited seating. Loved they have a cat donation and actually have a few cats for adoption in their little living room area. Made me a little sad but they saved the kittens, get them fixed and give them a good home. I got their matcha and drink was great. Worker (maybe manager? Owner?) very nice guy and was slinging coffee on a busy Monday afternoon. Everyone was patient with a line out the door. Very cool guy.

The quality of their ingredients is good - probably the best I've found in the Eugene/Springfield area. Their vegan cinnamon roll is also good - rich/sweet frosting that balances well with the pastry that isn't dry and is sweet enough that makes you keep going in for the next bite. They have a bright, rustic interior with high ceilings, a variety of indoor/outdoor seating, and surrounded by a few local businesses (spice & tea, antique, plant stores). Service is fast, servers are friendly. This is a good place to wfh. My only qualm is outlets are hard to come by.
