Officially, the place I recommend when someone asks "Do you have an auto body guy?" Frank at Newbridge Autobody was welcoming and made me feel comfortable bringing my leased car in for repair. The place had capacity to fix over 20 cars at a time, but did not seem in disarray. When I dropped off my car in the morning, the shop was already busy with multiple cars, giving me the impression that they get a steady flow of business locally. (Important) I live two towns away and never would have brought my car here, but got a recommendation, did a little internet research and quickly found a "good standing" record with the BBB, a business Facebook page with good reviews and some photos showing the shop. So, we took a ride over and got a good quote compared to three other local quotes I had done. They even have a business relationship with the local Enterprise rental car company on Merrick Road and were able to call and get me picked up in ten minutes to rent a car at a discount (about $43 per day for a compact). We were paying cash for whole repair and I will post before/after pics - the work they did was, in my opinion, flawless - like it never happened! It HAD to be perfect or else Toyota would bang me for the damage later- but, I got no worries now, because I took it to Newbridge! Other notes: the reception area is clean and welcoming. They washed my car and shinned the tires for me as well! The car looked great when I got it back. Job took less than two days-as promised! I would recommend this place to my friends. read more

I recently got into a minor accident where I damaged my rear bumper. I looked on yelp for auto body and collision places on Long Island where I could get my car fixed and I found this place. I didn't immediately jump into going here because they didn't have a lot of reviews. I then went to my Honda Dealer who recommended me to 4 different places. Out of the 4 places one was highlighted by the dealer rep. It was Newbridge. So I saw this as a sign to check them out. I went there that day, late afternoon and spoke with Vinny and Frank. They took care of me, got me into a rental the same day. As they promised my car was ready the next week. Thankfully enough I didn't need a new bumper. The guys were able to fix my original bumper to the point it looked brand new. I haven't had any problems with my car since it was returned to me.There was no long wait for my car which felt good to know. I was very pleased with their customer service as well as service on my car. Whenever I called they answered, they didn't give me the run around. The guys over there were very honest and did great work. I recommend this place to anyone who may need work done on their car minor or major. We were sent to Newbridge Auto Body by our insurance company. I was a little nervous as I have never had body work done so didn't know what to expect. It was my daughter's car so I let her handle the initial contact. Frank was so nice to her. After getting the estimate, I called to discuss it and Frank was so helpful and explained everything to me. He then invited us to come in and go over the estimate while looking at the car. After meeting Frank, I was completely comfortable with him and his business. They replaced the hood, front grill, bumper, lights and fixed some internal damage. And he even buffed out some scratches that were on the car. The car looked beautiful when we picked it up a week earlier than promised and at the price that was quoted. I would highly recommend this company for any body work you have.
