Sesame chicken broth is too heavy on oil. Too salty. Too much oil. This is not healthy at all. Avoid this place at all cost.

The set up inside isn't exactly the same as other Hannam store locations, but the Korean groceries and gifts are legit. Spacious. What I like were the restaurants onsite and Bonjour Bakery inside. Lots of food items to choose from. Cashiers want to ring you up quickly as they are mostly fast and efficient. What I noticed was that there are multiple vendors inside in various parts of the grocery store. Micromanagers. If you want to buy gifts at the front, you pay separately at the assigned counter and not at the grocery checkout area. Interesting. What a different experience here. If you want to buy something in back, you pay near that area. Everything else you would pay at grocery checkout lanes. Dining inside would be a great option since the food bar counters are open and there's seating available. Pajamas, handmade goods, handbags, hats, kitchen decors, etc. are plentiful and easily found here. Good varieties. It's just a very old store trying to survive. No lines and no crowds around 1:30pm on a casual Monday. It's not the best Hannam location for me, but still very convenient to stop by.

The Korean ajumma cashiers think they are entitled, to telling you to not use too many bags, refuses to give more bags, even though I'm buying them to carry my stuff! There's this specific one that always makes some unnecessary comment in her broken English. Next time I'll get her name. Also, the last time I got groceries from here, the Latino cashier couldn't even tell what type of sweet potato I'm buying and had to break it open to see the color it is, instead of just asking me! Who trained these people??! So who wants to buy the items you just damaged??! Imbecile!! I've stopped coming here for groceries, but only come in to quickly pick up the kimbap that gets delivered here daily. I need to find out where else these kimbap are being sold at so I don't have to come to this filthy, unethical place again. Does anyone know?

Cleanliness is basically what you'd expect from an Asian Supermarket. Best thing about this market is the 62 Noodle street, which is a really overdue review on my end Was trying to buy some items when we noticed it rang up as more expensive than what we saw. Cashier basically told us the price scanned is what it is and don't look at the tag saying we saw the wrong items tagged and barcode. She basically told us she can't do anything since that's what it scans as. I'm pretty sure I checked the tag so we went back grabbed the tag and brought it up. The barcodes matched so we escalated to someone more knowledgeable since the cashier didn't want to do anything. After 5-10 mins someone finally came up and said that's the price on the tag and they had to honor it. Took a lot of effort and basically the blamed corporate/headquarters for changing the prices and them not updating their tags. Not sure how that makes sense, but that's their reasoning. So be careful and aware of prices here

It was nice to see certain items that I had not seen in so long. The store is a bit on the smaller side, but whichever way you look, there's something for everyone. Goods are a bit pricier than most, but not many places sell goods directly from Taiwan. As others mentioned, it was very clean and have a good selection. There are plenty of parking near the store, especially since Big Lots has closed years ago.

It's been ages since I visited Taiwan but I do remember all the good food! The shop is tidy and they manage to pack a lot of items in here while still making it feel uncluttered. Some items they had for sale when I was here were various high grade oolong teas, the Taiwanese version of Otter Pops, pineapple cakes and soy sauce. They have a frozen section in addition to their shelf stable foods with items such as fish and various dumplings. While the cashier spoke both Mandarin and English, the person giving out samples of oolong teas only spoke Mandarin (In hindsight I should have asked if she spoke Taiwanese too). I'd love to come back next time I'm in the area to get more goodies for myself and as gifts.

I also have to preface though, this is one of the worst plazas in Rowland Heights, at least when it's peak lunch and dinner rush hour since there's so many eateries in this plaza, along with boba places and other businesses too. If the lot in front has no parking, you can try the structure in the back. If you're still unlucky, you can try street parking or you can park at any other plaza and walk over so long as there's no obvious valuables in your car. It's a bit cramped and claustrophobic, but that means its a well stocked supermarket. Every single time I've gone, it's never empty. Always some customers, always locals chatting with staff. There's a couple businesses inside the market as well, such as other eateries/places to pick up food and other small shops as well. Great place to pick up prepared Korean banchan and kimbap, as well as other traditional dishes. There's a decent amount of meat and seafood, as well as produce. Before it became easier to find, this was the only place I could find Tom Yum Buldak. Crazy, I know. My family and friends have found soju flavors here that they haven't anywhere else, same with random beverages and snacks. Great to stop by once in awhile, especially if you're in the area or if you're waiting for a table at any of the super busy restaurants.
