The irony here is that I am the "Yelp Duke" of this establishment and we literally walked out after 12 minutes of not being spoken to or acknowledged. Brothers has the edge of being one of the few options to eat out at in the area. I feel they may use that to their advantage as they have quite possibly the WORST wait service south of the James. Brother's is always a staple. I always get the food to go, and the staff are always friendly and kind. The restaurant is always clean and they have great parking options. I have now been here twice and honestly I didn't know what to expect. The first time I went on a girls outing and sat on the bar side our waitress Nicole. Nikki. I honestly can't remember her name. I've had some before back in the days and this wasn't what I thought I was going to get lol, but it was actually still good. My friend she had the Hulu hoop and I'm assuming she had it before. We Ordered fried mushrooms and fried calamari. The fried calamari wasn't too hard, not overly seasoned and came with what seem like a homemade marinara dipping sauce. I ordered manicotti. It was huge hot and to die for! It came with a side salad with homemade croutons and a bread roll with the world's most amazing garlic butter to dip in!! My second trip me and my husband decided to go. He ordered Jambolti and I had a cheesesteak. The little one had chicken fingers which were huge side salad fried calamari again because it was good the first time and this time fried zucchini. The food was amazing the second time I honestly have nothing bad to say the atmosphere is great. The waitresses are great the food is great. The prices are even great. Had dinner with my daughter here. A nice little family restaurant. Even though they were pretty crowded the evening we were there, we were seated immediately. Our service was attentive and polite. We didn't have to wait any time for our order to be taken. Our food came out quickly and looked great. My daughter had the chicken alfredo (she said it was yummy!) and I had a caesar salad with grilled chicken. This was one of the best experiences I've had to here. The other times have been great also but the atmosphere at the bar was all love!!! We waited at the bar until our take-out was ready. We had a couple of drinks and chit chatted with everyone at the bar. Our bartender, Dawn, was the best!!! She made sure everyone was taken care of and engaged with us all. When the food came out, we took the opportunity to let the camera eat first as we sampled all of our goodies! WOW!!! That's all I can say to explain the food. We visited with some friends on a Friday night and place was packed at 7.. definitely a local gem to have in the area! They were obviously short staffed and we did have to get our drinks at the bar and waiting a good 30 minutes before we were acknowledged, but we didn't mind I waited tables and they were as friendly as ever when they realized it. They have carry out side as well. Had the AMAZING CRAB DIP, crab and shrimp Alfredo and a bacon pineapple pizza yummmmmm. House salad came with the pasta .. my husband brought half home! So disappointed! We have eaten here for 20+ years and the food is amazing. Over the last 2 years the service has declined. Last year we had service issues so stopped eating here. Then we tried a few months ago and service was better. Today we visited and the kitchen was so backed up that after 40 mins we still had not gotten our order so we left. ( we were first to be seated when they opened at noon but apparently take out overwhelmed the kitchen) We waisted 40 mins of our day and never got our meal it was so irritating. We were driving and needed to stop for dinner, so I Yelped and found Brothers. We thought it was going to be a pizza place, where we could grab a few slices, but it was so nice and the menu had our favorites on it. We did without pizza and both got Italian pasta meals. I had egg plant park and it was delicious. It came with salad, bread and spaghetti, but I ate everything and didn't have room for the spaghetti. My husband had the lasagna and he loved it too. Had not been to Brothers in a long time. I used to live near it. Returned to Brothers 2 weeks ago. This place never disappoints. The Chicken Parm is thin and crispy with a sauce that has a little kick and high quality cheese. You can't eat it all. The Veal Marsala is also excellent. Tender and there is plenty of it. The price for the amount of food you get is fair. I noted people complain about the service but they have a huge amount of staff and my service has always been excellent. read more

Food is good. Not enough sauce for spaghetti and only have 2 medium sized meat balls. The Service was horrible. I can't remember his name but he barely opened his mouth and never checked on us. We had to either wave him down (he still didn't come over) or get another waitress to get him and he still came 15-20 minutes later. Another family sitting behind us stated he's like that every time they come in and it's sad. I was very disappointed with the service he catered more to the party across the way, smiled and conversed with them rather than taking care of my dad and I. If I were to go back I would definitely request not to be serviced by him or sit in his area. The ambiance was nice and family oriented. NY style pizza gets 5 Stars!~ many places make the claim but Brother's cooks it right! We always ask for 'extra crispy' crust for that NYC perfect balance of crunch and chewy. This place is ALWAYS busy to give yourself at least 30-40 mins for takeout orders. They claim it's 20 min wait but we've consistently found it to be longer. But.. it's worth the wait! For dining in: We've eaten the pasta dishes which area super as well. Calamari is 100%! Legit Italian dining that you're sure to enjoy. Great place for families ~ kid friendly. Brothers is one of my favorite places to visit when I'm home and I have been coming here for years for takeout. I love the plain cheese pizza and the mini pizza is the perfect size for me to enjoy great pizza without over indulging. The pizza here is also one of my son's favorites in the area. On my most recent visit I met up with friends after the holiday and dined in for the first time and wanted to order something other than pizza. I decided on a pasta dish (fettuccine alfredo with crab, broccoli and mushrooms). The service was good but it seemed like the food took forever to come out which was my only complaint. Once the food finally came out I was pleasantly surprised that my pasta dish was really good and they actually used fresh mushrooms and fresh crabmeat and it was very flavorful but the bread served with the dish was not good. We stopped in here while traveling because of the good Yelp reviews. I have to say the our first impression was terrible. When we walked in the front door it looked like the place was under construction and there was no hostess and no signage to let us know about seating. We stood around for a few minutes by the entrance to the kitchen as a number of wait staff quickly passed by with no acknowledgement. We were able to get a server to make eye contact and let us know we just needed to find a seat. First booth we sat in had tomato sauce all over the floor under it that we didn't notice until our get started sliding around it it. There was a party of 16 that left from the tables next to our booth 5 minutes after we sat down and the mess they left was untouched for more than 15 minutes. Maybe this is all ok with the regulars but for visitors this was all a real turn off. So the review started with only one star. We stayed because it was Saturday night, it was busy, and we were hungry so I hoped the food would be worth putting up with the sloppy presentation. Service was quick and our server was very nice. The side salad was a nice portion and very fresh with big chunks of tomato and cucumber. I had the Chicken Milano over fettuccine. My wife ordered a meatball calzone. The food was very good. My chicken was perfectly cooked as was the fettuccine. The sauce tasted homemade. My wife's calzone was also good. The crust was fairly bland compared to other pizza dough but the inside ingredients where plentiful and full of flavor. The food brought the rating up to three stars but the concerns with cleanliness and atmosphere make this likely a one and done for us. read more

Love Brothers!! I've been coming here since I was little. I love it and Guiseppes about the same so I rotate between the two. The pizza at both is amazing, like the best around by far!! I usually stick with that but sometimes I'll order spaghetti and meatballs which is also delicious. It's always hot and ready when I walk in for my to go order. I never have to wait. The service is also always A1. No complaints ever. The restaurant is very clean and well decorated as well. The outside patio is a treat to sit at on warmer days. Great service from Dakota amazing calamari with great dipping sauce (I asked for the firecracker sauce) and hot wings. My friend order the mild wings which didn't come with sauce on too which I loved so we traded lol. The hot wings were good but I'm not a person who likes sauce on the wings go the mild wings had great flavor with nice crunch. The Baltimore Zoo (top shelf) was good and come with a side beer (ordered the angry orchard) that you add once you drink 1/2 way. Service was amazing and great food. If you're looking for good pizza near Fort Lee, this is the best one I know of. Just a good, high quality New York style pie. Delicious and chewy crust, great cheese, and a nice tomato sauce. A little on the greasy side if you get pepperoni, but I didn't mind. read more

Agree with other reviewers who have faced serious mistakes repeatedly. Service is not only an issue during lunch. It's an issue at dinner time too. We placed an order at 8pm. It was supposedly going to be ready at 8:30pm. At 9:15pm it still wasn't ready. We asked to cancel it and the employee we spoke to went to get a manager. The manager refused to cancel it. She must have put the order in right then because 15 minutes later she came back and said it was ready. By then it was 9:30pm. An hour and a half after we ordered. read more
