Okay, I stopped by tonight and really liked it. It honestly felt like grandma's cooking. The potato salad was creamy and not overly chunky. I'd give it an 8 out of 10. I also got wings, and from what I understand they come plain without sauce. The wings were good though, fried perfectly. Definitely a 10 out of 10. **Did get hot sauce & ranch on the side. I also ordered a pork chop sandwich, which was a little disappointing. I'd rate it a 6 out of 10. The pork chop itself was fine, but when I was asked if I wanted lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise and said yes, I expected more than what was on it. I've eaten at this place near my house for so long, that I forgot to leave a review so here's my review: Food: The food is the main attraction here. The food is cooked to perfection every single worry has left my mind. The burgers were cooked to homemade perfection, the pork chops were juicy and tender, both the fish and chicken were crisp and delicious, and the fries were seasoned so well it gives other fast food places a run for their money. I know this because like I said, I eaten at this place multiple times because it's not far from my home. 10/10 Service: Every staff there was pretty friendly and chill. Especially the cashier who viewed me as a regular and knows my order. This place is perfect for the community. 9/10 Interior: It's in a neighborhood so it's not that big of a deal but it's nice to eat outside. 7/10 Overall, this place has the best burgers and pork chops of all time in my opinion and I'll extremely recommend this place over any other fast food place. The decor reminds you of a deli from the big city, but in a smaller town They have a variety of great sandwiches and subs that you can choose from. If you want something hot for dinner, they offer great dinner options from fried chicken to fried pork chops and fried fish, Along with great sides like hush puppies and fries and coleslaw. You would be remiss if you did not grab a slice of cake or two from the Deli case. They have so many different varieties that remind you of childhood that you would want to walk away with a few. Spent $85 dollars on the food that was nasty, I wish I could give zero stars. We got 4 dinner plates from there and hamburger steaks were either burnt or dry with zero flavor. Gravy tastes watered down with limited flavor. Collards greens tastes worst than cardboard. Pasta salad tasted sour like it was expired. Mashed potatoes tasted like nothing. And "side salad" is so micro you only get three bites from it. Macaroni and cheese needed salt and some more cheese or something, it was dry. And green beans were so overcooked canned beans that when you touched them with a fork it disintegrated. Could not taste my coleslaw or potato salad because they put it together with hot food so by the time we got home from there (9 min drive) it was warm and I'm not eating warm mayo based salad... our family of 5 literally ate bread and french fries for dinner because that was the only edible things there. The food gets the stars here! This was my 1st time. Unfortunately, I arrived just before a large order had been placed and there were 3 people ahead of me. So I waited about 45 minutes for 2 subs to go. Cheesesteak and an Italian. Despite being frustrated about the long wait, I waited until I got home to try the food before I did my review. Well the food totally redeemed the visit. Both subs came dressed. They didn't ask what I wanted on them and I was just fine with what they gave me. Delicious and affordable. Portions are big! I love the onion rings. The fried fish sandwich is amazing, few bones left in but it was still good. Their bbq is good if you like the vinegar based kind- I don't but for that kind it's good. It gets very busy around lunch but you can always call in and they deliver. Staff is always very friendly as well! For a cheap fried food, burger place, its great. We just had an outstanding early dinner! For $13.99 a plate you get TWO huge fried pork tenderloins, two sides, and two rolls. We all got the same dinner, but different sides - potato salad (soft and creamy), string beans, collards, mac, and cole slaw. The only side that was not that great was the slaw. My husband comes here quite often and he decided to share this gem with me. I saw a pulled pork sandwich so of course I couldn't say no! The sauce was tangy and the meat moist, so I didn't need to ask them for extra sauce. I had the coleslaw, which was just right. My husband went for the turkey burger. I was shocked because he never has a burger out of anything other than beef. When he said "trust me," I knew it must be good. And boy oh boy, he was right. I almost wanted to trade him. But come on, me trade away pulled pork? Not that day. Both of our dishes came with fries and a drink, which meant I got to have all the sweet tea I wanted! The food was good only downfall was that they gave me all fats when I prefer all flats (chicken pieces).
