No heads up, no responsibility--just left it there knowing it could get towed... and guess what? It DID. Now I'm stuck dealing with towing fees because of their employee's stupidity. When I called them, they acted like it wasn't their problem at all, even though their own worker was doing side work on their property. Zero accountability. Just excuses. I even told them I was going to take this to court, and their response? "Yeah, we'll see about that." That right there tells you everything you need to know about how they treat customers. Save yourself the headache and don't waste your money here. These people do not care about you or your vehicle.

See below for details... They are also a DMV STAR smog facility and are more than fairly priced! When they went to connect my 2004 Sprinter van to be smogged, my old jalopy wouldn't start!! So my huge van was sitting in their way to get other customer work done...but they NEVER got mad nor impatient with me. They were nothing but kind, professional and knowledgeable ... they went above and beyond!! They worked after closing to solve my Sprinter problem and get me on my way!! And they didn't charge me any extra from the original quote which was simply for the SMOG test. My salesman Corey reminded me why I should feel confident when doing business with paradise. Putting business aside, he's an amazing dude. Back to business though. Corey is super straight forward, honest, and extremely friendly, just like everyone else I talked to in my short time in paradise. Over in the service department, Mark is a treat to talk to as well. Overall, the entire staff is great from front to back and paradise is the blueprint of what a well ran business looks like.

I brought my Saturn in towards the end of last year to have the coolant light checked out on my car. The coolant light would not turn off without coming back on rather quickly, so i brought my Saturn down to have them check out what was the issue, and make the necessary repairs. It took them a few tries to find and locate the problem, but it was totally worth it. When they started looking into the source of the problem they discovered multiple parts that were broken, or close to being broken. They gave me the choice of the most critical parts that needed to be repaired, and were listed on a print out so I could choose which parts could be done sooner, and some father down the line in the near future. Vince, Dan, John, and staff always do a great job repairing and fixing our Saturn's when an issue pops up, and when an issue unexpectedly pops-up. There are a couple of parts that were getting close to breaking down, so I would rather get to those repairs (If I can), before anything goes wrong when I'm in transit somewhere. They found a fan that was coming loose besides the coolant among a few other things that were broken, or breaking down, and made the appropriate repairs. Needless to say I was, and am highly satisfied with the work that was done on my Saturn--I can easily tell when I drive my car--that it has much more power when accelerating, and it's noticeably smoother when driving. 'CAARS,' has high quality repair work, and a quality staff that Vince has retained--which shows in their quality, pride, and workmanship while keeping the price, timeliness, and value worthwhile for their customers.

I was convinced this was a problem waiting to happen. James put on a new lower unit and added new gauges. I was pleased with the outcome.

The mechanics at Brother's Auto Care are all top notch. My sister, my wife, and I all take our cars there, all different makes and they always give very honest assessments and treat the women with the same respect and integrity as the men. I recently had a check engine light come on. Fearing the worst (i.e. Oxygen Sensor, Catalytic Converter, etc.) I was bracing for the bad news. When I was told it was simply a bad gas cap. They sent me on my way to O'reilly Auto Parts because they didn't happen to have one in stock (Mainly due to an off make car that they normally don't work on), and ($10 gas cap) later, I was on my way. He cleared my code for me and I was another satisfied customer. Also, recent smog test on a 1991 BMW came up flying colors for a 23 year old car, not one problem, thanks guys and gals! I hate to say, I look forward to seeing them soon (only because it usually means something is wrong) but if something goes wrong, I look forward to dealing with everyone at Brother's again! Hands down the best mechanics in town! My 94 Toyota camry needed a new timing belt replaced which was way over due. Erol and Omar not only told me how much it was going to be but also let me know what other parts should be replaced (water pump and some seals ect) at the same time to save me money in the long run. They also checked over the car and let me know things I should keep in mind for the next visit or two. That's what make them stand out above the rest they could have just replaced my timing belt and not say anything about the the other parts or the other issues that should be done soon. I was going over the Ortega that weekend I asked the boys if they think it would make it? they laughed and said you should be just fine. I Drove out of the shop feeling confident that the work that was done, was done right and I didn't feel cheated. I think I should have paid them more for all they taught me about my car. I will ONLY take our cars to Brothers. They are TRUSTWORTHY, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND AFFORDABLE and look after their clients. I went to a well known tire place, one year ago. This tire place literally told me I was endangering my family by driving to San Francisco.... They told me if I didn't get work done on my car, my tires would have been shredded on the trip and it could have been disastrous. This tire store really tried to convince me I was endangering my family and to pay them $1,200. I immediately went to Brothers and they examined the car. Not only did it NOT need the $1,200 repair as suggested by the other place, it didn't need any other work other than an alignment. Brothers has taken GREAT care of all three of our cars and have helped others that I have referred with the same level of professionalism and caring. I recently had to get a smog certificate again as in the past but had a check engine light this time. Long story short, Earl of brothers auto, diagnosed the problem and referred me to go to the Chrysler dealership in Lake Forest. Turned out to be exactly as he described but this issue was one which very much a long list of factors that were previously misdiagnosed for as much as nine months by the dealership in San Juan Capistrano. Anyway, I have a trusted relationship going back 16 or more years with the brothers as they always have an informed honest opinion, with good advice and service that can be trusted like the story told. I would happily recommend them to you. If they can't provide the proper service they can steer you to those who have the professional tools to get it done. I have been here before, and had great experiences. But somewhere their policy changed and if your car doesn't pass on the first test, they will now charge you again full price for the second test. All I ask is for this information up front. Yes, I could have asked so I guess it's my bad that I didn't. But I've been to other places where they ask up front "has your car recently been in the shop". So I guess I just expected it. A good business would have, asked first. read more

Ferhat and Omar are true auto experts. Not only do they do my oil changes and smog checks, they have fixed a differential leak, reworked my 4WD transfer case and installed a new instrument cluster after mine broke in a blizzard in Colorado. This is a great place! The people are honest, and do not do more work than is needed. My boyfriend and I both have old, high mileage cars. Work is always completed within a day or so, and the prices are fair for the area. This is the only place I will take my cars. read more

Great experience! Very nice and professional people. I was on my way back home but got a shaking engine. They quickly identified the cause is misfire caused by a loose air intake gasket and fixed it for me with minimum charge. Would recommend them to anybody. read more

Hamid and his…read moreteam are so knowledgeable and kind, at my last oil change I was informed that I had a leak in my engine, and Hamid went the extra mile for me and talked to my extended warranty, recommended a rental car service, and completed my repairs in a timely manner. He was able to get almost the entire bill covered by my extended warranty! I never leave his office feeling confused or cheated, he's always upfront about costs and recommendations and lets me know what can wait and what is urgent. As long as they are in business I'll never take my car anywhere else.

The owner Mike was difficult to work with. He charged me $228 for one hour of his time to LOOK at a…read morebroken latch for my back hatch/door of my Jetta wagon. Then quoted me $750 to do the repair. He would only apply $50 of the $228 charge towards the repair. when I have had to deal with the Volkswagen dealer, if they charge you to look at a problem, they apply that fee towards the repair. He was not willing to do that. So I said I'm not gonna do the repair (because now I just don't have any trust ) and I took it somewhere else. I still had to pay the $228 to Mike for him to essentially give me an estimate/ Make a phone call - The other mechanic that I often go to in Mission Viejo charged me $309 for the part and $112 for labor. This garage wanted to charge me twice the price and gouged me. I will never go back there again. FYI- I have been going to this repair garage for over 10 years.

I happen to drive by their shop and Ray happened to be up front, so I asked him if I could buy a screw for my door panel and he generously gave me one, and let me use their shop's drill for me to install.
