I found these guys a couple months ago when I was in need of an oil change. I was looking for places that had reviews from women. Personally, I hate taking my car places because, unfortunately, females get taken advantage of. All their reviews were so great! I called and they were able to get me in the next day. I was able to drop my car off in the morning and pick it up after work. I asked what kind of oil and immediately was told not the cheap stuff for your BMW- I said good, you passed the test and we laughed. They were awesome. I have since taken my car back to replace my battery and get my engine bay cleaned. Battery is easy I know, but my car is special and I didn't want to deal with it. I was met again with exceptional service- going above and beyond! They respond quickly, provide great service and even throw in some jokes! These guys are seriously so kind (and funny). I was driving on 101 and my Audi Q5 warning suddenly went off with the message: "Turn off engine and check coolant level". A moment of panic set in, and I searched for the closest Mechanic shop, and this was how I found Brothers Auto Masters in Belmont. Mohammed and his uncle examined my car thoroughly, explained to me what could have caused the coolant leakage, and conducted a pressure test to evaluate the severity of the issue. It was a hot afternoon, and Mohammed offered me and my son to sit in his office with the A/C on while waiting for the inspection, gave us cold water bottles and even a toy car for my son! After I told them that I had my car serviced for the same problem recently with a different mechanic shop, Mohammed and his uncle gave me an honest recommendation of bringing my car back to the other mechanic to have it checked out there since I would most likely have it fixed for free as it was still in the grace period after the recent service. They also filled up my car coolant reservoir so I could get back on the road again. When I asked how much I owed them for the inspection and diagnosis, they said it was nothing and refused to charge me any fee! It's pretty rare these days where every service even minor would often come with some sort of charge but Mohammed and his uncle were just genuinely helping me out without an agenda, without any charge or fee, and even gave my young son who was still pretty scared from the non-stop warnings coming from the car while driving on the freeway earlier a free toy car. Best of the best! These guys just saved me $20,000. I was at the Mercedes Benz dealership looking at a used Toyota. It seemed like a nice car, and I was ready to purchase it since the sales person told me that it was really clean (and that Mercedes does not sell cars that are not in really good shape). However, I thought it might still be good to get a mechanic to do a pre-purchase inspection before I fully committed. I don't live in the area, so I had to base my decision of mechanic solely on these Yelp reviews. I called Brothers, and the guy I spoke with said I could just bring the car down. This was a Saturday afternoon, so I felt so grateful that they would do it so last minute. And luckily the shop was only a half mile from the dealership! Well, they were very frank with me and told me, "Do not buy this car!" It turns out that the car had been in an accident (even though the CARFAX was clean). There was all kinds of damage underneath that was not noticeable from the top -- like the bumper being held on by zip ties, the cracked tires, a broken control arm, mis-matched paint between the body and the bumpers, and much more. 2 vw dealers had recommended to me that I needed to replace the rear shocks for my 2014 cc. Around 4 pm I called this repair shop to get a quote. Mohammad answered my call and I gave him all the information, including year and model and asked for a quote. He said he was closing the shop at that time and he would call me with the estimate first thing in the morning. He did not call and later in the day I called again. He said that he was not in the shop and will call me with the estimate later that day. Again he never got back to me (how rude!). I am kind of glad to learn how unprofessional this shop is. When they call themselves auto masters they really mean it! Mohammad took care of my Porsche and got me in with extremely short notice. He changed my oil, brake rotors, brake pads and brake sensors in 4 hours and had time to get the car cleaned. Most shops would take a week for this. I went on Yelp because I needed to have someone put on some brakes and rotors for me that I had purchased. I paid almost $600 with shipping for a set of brakes and rotors for my 2019 Lexus GSF sport. When I went onto Yelp, it asked me to make a model of my car what I needed repaired and I put all the information in several people got back to me from anywhere from 450-900 to install the front brakes and rotors for my car one guy quoted me 250 and I asked him would that be for front and rear or just front and he said both I proceeded to make an appointment for an hour later When I got there Mohammed said oh I'm sorry my brother was confused. We thought you had a Prius so usually we charge $500 to replace brakes and rotors on your car but I will honor the price because of the mistake. My brother made not reading the vehicle information. He calls me and tells me the parts that I brought that the rotors front and back are the same size and on my car it requires two different size rotors the front being bigger . I was sure that I had bought the right kit for my car, but I took the guys word for it. I asked him for the rotors what's the additional cost? He said $139 what can I say the ones I provided he says doesn't fit so I agreed to him buying the $139 rotors and adding that to the cost so so quickly it went from to 380 When I arrived, he tells me my total cost is 580. He fell to tell me that it was 139 per rotor not for the set maybe my mistake. They are not asking thorough questions. I did not have enough to pay for the repair on me I had to borrow the money for my dad and I did charge it on a credit card. The difference . But most mad about is after my brakes squeak they still squeak to this day. It's been about two months. They sound like they they were never repaired and today I went to take out the rotors and take pictures of them to sell them and what do you know the lied!! The owner scammed me these for sure are two different different size rotors and they for sure fit on my car I will have a picture below that states which ones rear which ones front and then I will stack the rear on top of the front and you will definitely see the size difference Just being honest and saying you made a mistake on the price quote it'll be $500 for me to put these front brakes and rotors in. Would you like to still proceed with a repair decided he was gonna honor his price look like an additional $280 out of me by supposedly buying a front rotor, he said he didn't have to buy back ones because I didn't need the back ones so he didn't even repair the back brakes at all. I'm not even sure if he put new brake pads on the back or not my guess is all the lying he's probably not.. just use the brake pad. I bought him and the rotors and he could've used them all both my front. My back were significantly low when I got there was making noise.. he told me he didn't need to do the back they wouldn't match the front. You should've done the back because there is low as the front I'm reluctant to bring the car back to him. I know he could've not done anything except put brake pads on bad rotors and charge me for rotors he didn't buysupplied any proof he paid for any rotors except him, pointing to some that were on the floor that were supposedly mine. I just prefer integrity and transparency when I'm working with somebody doing a business transaction and I would've preferred to be honest from the start and say they screwed up they gave me the rice price price quote and that they can cut me a discount maybe charge me like you know 400 bucks he lied and told me you could sell those rotors on Facebook marketplace. I really like this gentleman and now I'm feeling scammed and played at a time where I couldn't afford any extra money wasn't my fault. He gave me a wrong price quote like he said they should've honored it and then to top it off. He probably didn't even do anything to my rear brakes , God knows what he's done to the front because they sound worse than they did when I brought him in. I'm completely dissatisfied with his tact and the work on my car . Maybe his brother the one that thought my car was a Prius trying to read the computer screen where where it said Lexus GS 350 also was the one that checked if the brake rotors were the same , poor guy has his nephew blaming him for everything. People need to take accountability and just speak truth . I'd love my 250 dollars back but I know I won't get it so a honest review from a customer it is. read more

I HIGHLY recommend Brothers Auto Masters (the shop name is a very accurate description btw) and will be a customer as long as I live in California. Mohammad, his brother and his dad saved me from being scammed and fixed my car super quick, without charging me an arm and a leg, in fact they worked with me really well and I can't emphasize how much I appreciate that. To be more detailed, my car stopped working on the freeway and I had no idea what the issue was. My friend's bf who happens to be a mechanic told me the head gasket needed to be changed along with other stuff and mentioned it's going to cost probably more than the car itself which freaked me out. I got lucky by looking up mechanic shops near by my house and I found this shop. When I called I wasn't expecting the VIP treatment I was going to get which restored my faith in humanity. From the beginning, I can tell Mohammad was very nice & flexible and told me I can bring my car same day for him to check it out which I did. After spending few hours investigating it thoroughly he called me with great news that my car will be fixed and informed me that the head gasket is fine, it was mostly a radiator issue. That conversation made my entire day as he mentioned the cost which was wayyy below what I was expecting. he was also very flexible with his pricing and gave me a GREAT deal which made the whole experience even better. No exaggeration but everyone in the shop went above and beyond to make sure my car was 100. My car headlights were very dim. The dealer told me the bulbs were fine and that I had to replace the plastic covers for $200 each! Instead I took my car to Brothers. For an unbeatable price, they cleaned the inside of the covers so that I can now see again when driving at night. But the best part was their hospitality. I waited in the waiting room, and they brought me a cup of Turkish coffee that was delicious. When I said that I liked it, they sent me home with some coffee grounds packed in Saran wrap! I was desperately in need of a mechanic that could replace my car battery on the same day. My car battery had died, and it had too much corrosion. Even AAA couldn't replace it, and I had to take it to a mechanic to cut the cable stuck to the battery. I called Brothers Auto Masters and they told me they could get it done on the same day. Everyone at the shop was very nice to me, explaining what needed to be fixed along with the quotes with reasonable prices. However, they didn't push you or force you to upsell any of their services. I just picked the fixed that I needed for the day (added oil change and air filer replacement) because I couldn't stay long in the shop. My car was ready in less than 2 hours, and they explained and showed everything that they did to the car. They even helped me clean my car, too! (My car was so dusty, I felt so embarrassed to take it to the shop) I've had many bad experiences with other mechanics previously always looking to overcharge and force you to buy unnecessary things. But Brothers Auto Masters were very different from other shops that I've been to before, and everyone was very nice and really genuinely wanted to help to fix my car!
