I took my 2024 Chevy Blazer to Rod Hatfield Chevrolet for a routine oil change and tire rotation…read more When I dropped the vehicle off, it had no scratches. When I picked it up and got home, I discovered significant scratches that were not there before. I contacted the dealership immediately, expecting them to investigate and make it right. Over the course of several days, we reviewed photos and security footage. The service director acknowledged that both my photos and the dealership's intake images showed there was no damage when I brought the vehicle in. However, the footage of the vehicle leaving the service bay was too poor in quality to prove the scratches were not already there when it left the dealership. Despite admitting there was no damage when I dropped the vehicle off and having no clear evidence showing otherwise when it left, the dealership refused to accept responsibility or help resolve the issue. As a result, I'm now facing a $2,500 repair bill. I understand that accidents can happen. What disappointed me most was the dealership's unwillingness to take responsibility or work toward a fair resolution. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend their service department

This is a review for the service department - we have not purchased from here. We get our 2019…read moreChevy Volt serviced here. Pros: - Excellent customer service. If you have an issue and express a concern to them, they will make honest efforts to solve it for you. They are always professional when speaking. They use a text service to keep you updated and will even check in on you after you've taken it home to make sure you're satisfied. - Quality work. They know what they are doing and will solve your problem. Cons: - Expensive. Yes, car service is expensive in general, but they are probably still on the higher end for cost, but I guess that's the trade off for knowing you're getting work done right - Busy. They take in a lot of vehicles and aren't always quick returning your vehicle. However, when we had an issue with a vehicle taking longer than expected, we talked to the tech and he got it expedited.

I have never had a good experience here. The service department seems extremely disorganized, costs…read moreastronomical rates & has poor execution as well as poor communication. I will never bring a vehicle here for service again. I will drive to Richmond or Paris if necessary, because I will not come back here.

AT MINIMUM KEEP YOUR WEBSITE UP TO DATE ON INVENTORY, ITS MAKING YOU LOOK BAD IN THIS REVIEW. I…read morewill say I didn't buy anything from them. I'm 3 hrs away, they had several car listed on the website that were available and I was interested in [the sale price listed] and I had cash to purchase IT [NEW}. I get there and none that were on sale, that was listed on the website were available. They sold the them all the day or two before was the answer.... LOL OK.... And as of today they are still HAVE THEM listed for sale 2 days after the fact I was there, telling them about it being a problem... so this is why I'm leaving a review to caution others. A LITTLE BAIT AND SWITCH ACTION HERE I THINK. So I drove 6hr round trip for nothing. Caution--- call and make sure they have what's listed on line FIRST or have what your looking for on the lot. Here is where it gets good... Also I found a car similar but a different color, had the same options as the other listed, other than the color, same sticker price and was 4k more on sale, LOL. they play the numbers game... caution doing business with this approach. I haven't purchased a new car since 2019 and apparently it has changed.. I have purchased multiple MANY new cars over the years [lets say around 15 to play it safe, so know what I'm doing and know what to expect] and glad to say I have never delt with THIS stuff before... all the added fees of non scene , plus---$850 to do paperwork selling you the car,,. LOL and $150 to get title paperwork to the title office. $1000 bucks of your hard earned money for them to type up the sale of the vehicle, or for them to get a loan for you that they are going to make money on anyway,... [sign me up for that job,lol ]... CAUTION-- think about this before you sign the line... just an extra $1000 for them to do there job selling you a car. weeeeee and if they help you get that loan- you might just be paying them a percentage as well on that loan... ill caution you now... yes they do it. I guess I'm old, or maybe more wise with my hard earned money. Why has it got so difficult to even purchase a car? it can be SIMPLE--here is the price, haggle a little , make a deal, buy it, add the government tax gift, and that should be simple to do, give few bones to get the paperwork done[but a 1000 bucks] wow...... but nope... we got added fees, Add wax, add extended warranty, add for washing, add for that new car smell, add for looking at it cross eyed... add, add, add... and add more stuff... lol OH I ALMOST FORGOT-- HOW WILL YOU BE PAYING FOR IT? HOW LONG YOU WANT TO PAY FOR IT?... IT'S EASY------- JUST TELL ME WHAT YOULL TAKE FOR THE CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- OR I MAKE THE OFFER TO THEM.. THEN GO FROM THERE. THEY HAVE THESE OPTION THROWING THEM AT THE CUSTOMER TO GET YOU CONFUSED-- JUST TO FIGURE HOW THEY WILL STEAL MORE MONEY FROM YOU.. CAUTION... AND YUP BEFORE YOU KNOW IT ,YOUR PAYING 4K MORE FOR THE SAME CAR. NOT ME.... GOOD LUCK... THE SALESMAN SAID ALL EVERY DEALSHIPS DO THIS, WELL I GUESS I WONT BE PARTICPATING TODAY, JUST BECAUSE EVRYONE ELSE DOES IT. . LOL HEY THEY MAY BE GOOD PEOPLE THERE AND ON THE UP AND UP, BUT SOMETHINGS IS DEFINATLY WRONG WITH WHAT I EXPERIENCED. PLEASE BE ON YOUR TOES AT ANY DEALERSHIP IF THEY ALL ARE DOING IT LIKE THIS... WELCOME TO 2026. SO CORRECT AND REMOVE THE CAR FROM ONLINE, WHEN THE CAR IS SOLD. DO YOUR JOB, apparently the $1000 bucks extra fees didn't pay this guy to do his job in removing them from the web.... Maybe create a new fee for that!
