Everyone here was really friendly. 5-Star said all I really needed right now was my breaks and rotors; and they said the belt was fine. What a relief! I was happy to find out they didn't try to buy other stuff for my vehicle. They did tho, give an extra paper filled with suggestions for future car repairs. I thought that was really kind to give us a heads up; and that they didn't say that we needed it all right now. Anyway, being about 7 mins from my house and living in Lexington for over 3 years, I had yet to find a repair shop that I just loved. I will be coming back again for all of my repairs!!! I arrived at 8am and Ellen (who made the appointment) told me she had me down for 10am. My husband picked me up. At 2pm, I called to check progress on my car and she told me she would check & call me back. I didn't get a call so I called back @3pm and same person told me that it was finished but the "supervisor" needed to check it. My husband dropped me off and it took a half hour to get the bill. I ask her why I had not been notified about appointment change and she didn't respond, no apology was given (my husband heard the conversation when I made the appointment and was told 8am) . With oil change and battery testing they charged $92.68 with $25.00 of that being for battery testing. I had used 5 Star several times over the years with good results but not this time and never again.

So the salesman and the owner calls me they both tell me that the 2020 F-150 which they still have listed has torque converter problems and they wasn't willing to fix it. Then they had a 2014 Toyota tundra that they was trying to put me in that I told him I really didn't want it but I had a project coming up and I was almost forced to take it. So the day that I was coming out to get the Toyota tundra they called me and tell me that the tundra was off the table too. So what the underlying problem was is that the place that was going to finance both vehicles. Which I have a long standing with them and have bought two vehicles off of them speaking of the financial place not Ryan's. The financial place I guess was not giving them enough money for the vehicles or wouldn't let them get over on me for the amount of money for the vehicles. So the owner got in contact with me through his salesman which I have bought another vehicle from this salesman at another dealership and me and the salesman was in good standings. Until he sent me a text that the owner told me that they wouldn't do any more deals with me until I took down my negative review of them on Google. And now you can go and see that he completely took his Google down. If I can download the picture to this app I will include it. Do not deal with this car lot. It's not a dealership.

They claimed that in almost 2 months with the car they can't find the problem. Losing so much money with this car rental that this is worst than horrible. I'll no choice but to spend more money and hire an attorney. Stay away everything is good till you need them. Horrible experience so far. My son and I bought a used 2020 Explorer platinum from this dealership. We decided to do it because it was a reputable place and they got the buy the promise policy. Saw it on line and bought. We live about 3 hours away. When you turn on the explorer a check lamp system light came on and then turned off. 30 minutes out and the headlights shut off. We had to drive home over 2hrs with no headlights. Called the salesman and told him and said that they were going to fix it. Made the appointment and the gave me a f150 as loaner. Called 2 hrs later said it was fix. Picked it up and 2 hrs into the trip warning light came back on and again no headlights. Called, texted and I got ghosted. 4 week ago after trying get a manager finally a lady from service setup another appointment. I went and when the salesman saw me turned white and asked what I was doing there. I explained left the explorer and left this time with no loaner. 4 weeks later they still got my car, Called service department and no one knew where the vehicle was. After a few phone I calls a service lady Rebecca got with salesman because she couldn't figure out which service department had it. No answer still, they still got the vehicle. I have done 2 car payment but with no car. No manager yet cared to call. Stay away from this dealership

Son made his choice and when we visited a third time, Wan was not there so we worked with Yasser. Positives for Yasser were after the sale, he was very good with paperwork, he spent 45 minutes with my son afterwards helping him to learn and figure out all the features of the vehicle. He followed up with my son to see how he was doing once he drove the vehicle off the lot which was great. Negative for Yasser was when we were talking numbers and trying to see if they would come down on the asking price, Yasser laughed in my face. This was unprofessional and very disrespectful. The only reason I did not get up and walk out was that this was my son's money, my son's purchase, and my son's decision. I would have no problem buying another vehicle from Paul Miller, I would just use a different sales representative.

This is my statement about recent dealings with Auto Excel in Lexington Kentucky:…read more On May 7th, I took my car in for repair, because; The driver's side headlight would go out and then back on. A chattering relay above the passenger side sliding door. The driver's side sliding door will sometimes close and then pop back open. Also on a few occasions the battery would be drained after sitting overnight. I received a call later that day stating that the battery had a bad cell and should be replaced. For me the call was misleading as I thought this was a necessary step toward fixing the issues stated above. I was charged $507.17 for the new battery and installation.. Then on Friday, an e-mail came asking for authorization to pursue three items - internal dash noises - oil dye - and the sliding door issue. The three when added up totaled over $500, and only one was related to the reason I took the car in. I declined and went to get my car. When I was there, I asked to see the old battery - it was already gone. I was told that they did a voltage test and that it read around 10 volts, (12v - 2v = bad cell). When I parked the car in front of their shop the battery voltage read 14.6v (the new battery reads 14.3v). There was absolutely no information about the new battery. No manufacturer's name, no model number, no warranty card. After a second request, we did get a copy of their purchase receipt from Advance Auto. When I got home, I looked the battery up on the Advance Auto website - The battery was listed for less than $250 installed. I parked the car for three weeks. The first time I drove it, the headlight went out, by the time I got home the headlight was back on. I wrote a three page letter to the owner, Mike Barrett. I posted it on their website message board, I e-mailed it to Mike Barrett directly, and I sent a hard copy in the U.S. Mail. I received no response from Mike Barrett. (Did he ever see my letter?) I did receive a response from Cole Barrett, (the Service / Marketing Leader at Auto Excel). This is the man I have been dealing with. I sent a second letter, this time to Cole Barrett, on Friday June 5th. Between the two letters, I received six e-mail requests, and additional text messages, requesting "Favorible" reviews". With both letters, I requested a refund. Even a partial refund would be better than what was offered. First these statements from Cole Barrett: "The issue that was solved is the vehicle starts and runs," "which was solved by replacing the battery and its bad cell" Nothing was solved! - The issues had not changed - the headlight, the chattering relay, the door popping open, and the fact that something had drained the battery - those are the issues. The new battery does not solve anything. If something shorts out, the new battery will drain just like the old one did. Also, the car starts and runs just fine. I drove it to his shop. Now, What was offered: " The best I can offer is to further inspect and evaluate those other issues at no charge. " "Alternatively, if you bring the battery back I can exchange it at no charge, allowing us to refund you back the amount of the battery." The fact that Cole offered further services at no charge is an acknowledgement that "Something's not right," (which is what I stated in my first letter). The offer to refund the cost of the battery if it's returned is an insult. I would have to go somewhere, buy a battery, have it installed,and pay a $22 reclaim fee, (because I won't have an old battery to return), then take this battery back to Auto Excel for the refund. Cole Barrett wants me, the customer, to jump through a bunch of hoops to resolve an issue he created. In the letter dated June 5th, Cole Barrett's last words are - "Thank you and have a blessed day!" It felt like sarcasm. In some of the e-mails I'm referred to as a "Valued Customer." Really? The car still needed to be repaired. I had to save some money, and then took it to another repair shop. They resolved the headlight and battery drain issues. They also provided real information on the other two issues. The bill, $450. That's less than Cole Barrett charged me to replace a battery that was not defective! I wish I could, but I cannot recommend Auto Excel. My experience with them was painful. I won't be going back! I wasn't having problems with my vehicle, but I drive it all over the US and Canada and need to keep it reliable. They offer the exact service I needed, where they do a complete vehicle inspection. What I like is that they send a text when completed with a complete breakdown of the results, including pics when necessary (see picture). I had them do a lot of work for me, as I hadn't really done much to the van maintenance-wise for the first 100,000 other than oil changes and replacing the air filter. It was three days of work on the vehicle, so that gives you an idea of how much work I had them do. Was it cheap? Not to me. But I'm an old man. Everything seems high to me. But it was quite a bit cheaper than dealership costs, which is exactly what I was looking for from an independent mechanic. And while I wasn't having any problems with the van, I can definitely tell a difference in the way it is running now. It runs like a new car. And they offer a three year/36000 mile warranty on their work. That's a fair deal. So, while I had some shock at the cost of maintenance, it was pennies on the dollar compared to replacing with a new vehicle. I probably spent six months of new car payments on maintenance, which is pretty good math in my book. I'll be working with them again in the future.
