We had good a fairly quick service. A variety of dishes were ordered. We had the sampler appetizer and everything on it was overly salted. I had the fish tacos and there were pretty cold and overly salted. The bacon burger was also overly salted. The quesadilla burgers also good. The fries were okay. The chopped salad was good until a nice long blond hair was pulled out. Sadly that was the end of her meal. That aside I would recommend less salt on all the food and a hairnet for the cook. read more

This place was a massive disappointment and if zero stars was an option that's what would be left here. There was one and only bright star and that the bartender Drew (amazing) who is the only employee who has any concept of customer or common sense at this location. My wife and I stood in the hostess line for at least ten minutes. When getting to the front of the hostess line we were told to find our own table by the hostess. Odd to be sure but we complied. Once we found our own table we sat at said table for 30 minutes before any of the staff took our order. Finally we then ordered two drinks and appetizer. After another 30 minutes waiting for two drinks and food order we then chose to change pace and proceed to order from the bar in hopes of expediting things. Ridiculous service. When our 21 year old daughter arrived later she was treated rudely and aggressively by the door staff. When my wife confronted them they were twice as rude and aggressive towards to her. My wife and I will never step foot in this or any other Brothers location again. We would strongly recommend that you think carefully before you do so. The complete and total disregard for basic customer service and human decency is beyond anything that we as good people can understand or comprehend. Please be careful and think through your options in Fort Collins and any other state where this terrifyingly and totalitarian company runs its business. They threw an event where they knew there would be over 100+ people and had 2 bartenders working..... There was a bartender allegedly named rob who served the same groups of people multiple times before even speaking to us while we waited 45 min. When he finally spoke to us I handed him my id to order as everyone else had been doing and he snapped at me that I was "cutting everyone" however I had been there for 45 minutes before he spoke to me once. Three minutes later a man behind me yelled his order over me and my friend's heads and he served the man multiple drinks before me. The service was terrible. We were up for parents weekend and the doroman took our daughters ID. When i went outside to speak to him he screamed at me and told me to call the police. I politely told him she was 21. He was a complete jerk and screamed at me over and over. My husband and I and sixteen of our friends had been in the establishment for over two hours and this is how we are treated. Our service was terrible except for our bartender Drew. We are from AZ and this never would have happened. What a disappoint. We will never go back and neither will any of our friends. Do better Brothers Bar. This bar had been our favorite for years but we have sadly been paired with Zoe as our server many times in the past few months. She has genuinely messed up our order every time, rolled her eyes, been snarky/rude, and just overall a terrible server. She broke a glass on my friends lap and didn't even apologize. Im not even trying to be mean but she should have been fired months ago or she needs to be re-trained or something.... She does not know the menu at all and overcharges you. This restaurant needs to understand what service means. 3 bartenders working and hostess seated us in the bar. After 15 minutes not a single one stopped by so we left. One bartender appeared to be working. One was drinking and the third was on his phone. Food was delivered to a nearby table by the bartender who was drinking and he didn't bother to stop at our table. We got up and left. First time visiting this bar! Was really hankering for a burger. Ordered the no-meat burger which turns out is the Impossible burger. They should add this to the menu because I would have come sooner if I knew they serve Impossible! Happy hour was still going on, which was half off drafts, wells, and calls. I got the draft dry cider and it was good! Took a star off for the weird seating situation--we wanted to sit in a booth by the front window but each middle booth was blocked so there was no space. I'm glad there's an effort for covid mitigation. But then we went to be seated on the back patio and the tables were crammed together. It would have been MORE spaced out to sit in the front middle booth than on the patio where our chairs were practically touching the neighboring tables' chairs. I ended up asking to be moved into the bar area high top table (I hate being that person but logically it didn't make sense to stay so close to other people). I feel extremely bad for the 3 servers and 1 bartender working the ENTIRE restaurant on a Saturday afternoon during a full day of college football games. The food came out cold, drinks came out late and weak and I don't blame the server or bartender at all.....I blame their general mgmt. Like WHO da HELL scheduled 3 servers, 1 bartender and NO expo on a busy ass Saturday afternoon??! Who runs this place??!? My 63 year old mother who has no restaurant experience could schedule this place better than the general manager. If we lived in or around Fort Collins this would be a well frequented place. They have big garage doors that turn the dinning area into an open air dining experience. The Cod Almighty Sandwich was a huge piece of cod hand battered and served on a toasted bun with lettuce and tarter sauce. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich was a huge chicken breast, hand battered, topped with a hot chicken bbq sauce and cheese. Both were outstanding. We also had the soft pretzels, which were delicious, could have used a bit more cheese sauce for dipping, but delicious none the less. I wish I could give it zero stars. I have only been in once before I remember it being an okay experience but when I came in today it was very different. My friends and I came to celebrate her 21st birthday and the service was by far the worst I've ever had. We waited so long for anyone to even come up to our table and greet us or try to take our drink order. When the gentleman came around he was pleasant but he took close to 15 minutes just to come back with our drinks while the restaurant was very visibly slow. I also work in the food industry and it was clear that he was a trainee so I was doing my best to be patient despite the fact that it was the slowest service I've ever received. One of the people at our table flagged over a different server than our own so she could put an order in and as we were all hoping to get an order in he walked away after only speaking to her. Annoyed, I walked up to our original server at the bar and he told me he would be over in a minute. When he came over we all got food and drinks put in. After probably about 30 minutes I was wondering where our food was since we only ordered a couple appetizers. He then proceeded to inform me that our food was never sent back to the kitchen. At this point I was really over it so I told him to forget the food and just bring our tickets over whenever he could. We waited like another 15 minutes or so until one of the people at our table got up to pay over at the bar and the rest of us followed. Checking out was a whole ordeal and the server had half of us paid out before he realized he had forgotten to put the shots we took on our tickets. So in the process of re checking out for our shots our server turned to ask the other gentleman behind the bar a question so I asked him if he was training the other young man. He told me he was at so I asked him what he was doing the whole time we were there because our server was very obviously struggling. He became defensive quickly and told me they were short staffed and I told him that I understood that struggle because I work the same job but he still could've done more to help out his trainee. He then repeatedly told me to calm down in a condescending manner when I was talking in a normal tone just expressing to him that I felt as though he was being lazy and a bad trainer. The man who was "training" our server was the other server that had previously been called upon to take one of our girls orders and walked away without speaking to anyone else at the table. If I was in his shoes and saw that one of my trainees tables was flagging me down for any reason I would check in on my trainee and give their tables the assistance they need but I suppose maybe he was taking more of a sink or swim approach since the trainee was clearly sinking. Anyways long story short I probably won't be back and if the managers have any sense of the way customers should be treated the trainer needs a stern talking to if not to be retrained entirely. read more

Same complaint as many others: they have ridiculous hours for anyone under 21 years of age. I've tried multiple times to bring my family here and get turned away every time. I guess their primary business objective is drunken debauchery earlier in the day than anywhere else in downtown Fort Collins, as there are no fewer than 30 other places within just a few blocks that have no such made-up rule. If their excuse is "it's a law to not have anyone under 21 in here after 7:30PM", then I guess every other establishment nearby that allows children even under 10 to eat up until 10PM at night - and has for over 30 years - is guilty of breaking whatever rule Brothers has dreamed up here. Will advise Yelp to eliminate the "Good for Kids" rating from their listing. read more

Updated review: I'm so sad to post this because I love this place so much. But today we showed up for the $2 burgers that are back (since the first time we came a few weeks ago they weren't running the special, regardless of it still being advertised), and we stood in line outside for an hour and 15 minutes. Right as we were next up in line, one of the workers comes up to tell us there are no more burgers left :( we decided to wait outside to go in anyways since we had been in line for so long but after waiting a long while again nobody left the restraunt (covid precautions). I understand covid restrictions and how this makes it hard, not blaming the restraunt on this. Though my friend waited 6 minutes at the host stand to ask for the wait time and nobody approached her for 6 whole minutes (thats kinda long for a host to be away at a restraunt). So we ended up leaving dissapointed :( sad it's been hard here lately. Maybe if parties had an allocated amount of time to be there this would allow for others that have been outside waiting in the cold to get in. We watched a whole party of 6 leave except for 1 guy in that party who asked the host if his friends in the middle of the line (behind many many people) could come sit down with him (she said yes) so the party in the middle of the line passed everyone that had been waiting and got in asap, which seemed slightly unfair to others. Great atmosphere, very open with lots of air flow. Drink specials were killer on a Sunday and the service from Justin was top notch - that guy will go far. Good food, honestly the chicken strips blew me away. I'd argue better than Cane's or Cosmo. Definitely worth a visit and felt safe the whole time in there. read more
