Mexican candy martini with tajin on the rim .

Beautiful location in the downtown Norfolk area. The ambience is beautiful, spacious with amazing art. I really enjoyed the server paying attention to detail. All of the food was made fresh to order. He was very polite , fast and extremely patient with our large party. The calamari dish was great, the Mexican candy margaritas were unique and quite strong. I enjoyed the fish. The live performance from American Idol participant Tobias Cortez set the perfect food. He played so many genres of music, mesmerizing the crowd.

The ambiance was great and warm. Great music and the customer service was on point. We started with pork belly and a house salad, which were great! Once I saw the risotto on the menu, I knew I had to order it... Unfortunately, the rice was not cooked all the way through, and it was a bit undercooked, which was disappointing. The Brussels sprouts came in a soupy sauce which wasn't the best. The mac, mash, a pork chop were good.

Morning Fellow Yelpers! It's ya favorite critic again with another out of this world find!! Located in Downtown Norfolk on the side of the MacArthur Center. We came to celebrate my cousin's 40th birthday! I've been to some nice establishments, but this one sticks out! I thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. The service was unmatched! The food was impeccable! And, the experience was memorable! Our server was one of the best in the business. We didn't experience long wait times, our beverages were refilled in a timely manner, and anything we requested surpassed our expectations. It was a few quiet conversations being had, but the live music is really what put this place over the top. I have been back several times since then and every time It gets better and better. I would recommend this establishment for anyone looking for good food and good times. Stop in and find out for yourself

They had a large party the day we went but the restaurant is fairly large and should be able to handle a large party along with other guest. Our reservation was at 5:30 hoping to be at the Scope by 7:30. We were a party of two and it took over 20 minutes to get drinks and a little over an hour to get our meal. I ordered the red snapper with fried rice, Salmon Caesar salad and the fried okra appetizer (never came to the table). There was a waiter or bus boy cleaning tables all around spraying a strong cleaner around the tables. The tables were too close together for that type of cleaning. Overall, Brothers food wasn't terrible but for the price the service and food should match the cost and mandate gratuity.

I'm going to start this review with a shoutout to our server Rishona! She was hilarious, personable, and communicated with us appropriately. She definitely helped us make some tough decisions as it related to what we wanted to order. Now the food, I honestly do not have one complaint. My boyfriend enjoyed his steak and he is a steak fanatic but the sides were his favorite part of the meal. They are on it in the kitchen! Everything had amazing flavor and I'm so glad we ordered different options because it was hard to pick a favorite. We only took home 1/4 of the chicken and a dollop of the mashed potatoes so that says a lot. We also saw the chefs cooking things for a party upstairs so if you're looking for a place to hold an event with great food add Brothers to your list. We also got to chat with the owner which I enjoyed because I felt it showed he cared about his patrons, business, and making the restaurant a welcoming atmosphere. I love supporting black owned businesses and if I could give them 10 stars I honestly would!

I celebrated a friends birthday at the Monticello location it's just not coming up here. Such a beautiful establishment!!!! Not crowded at all. A live band/singer performed the night I was there and dinner was beyond amazing. Every bite was delicious. Those chefs know exactly what they are doing in that kitchen. Celebrity/Millionaire wall displays several people who has enjoyed themselves under the same roof I was under and I love it. The owner walked around and checked on each individual party making sure everyone was happy and content with there services. Job well done.

First, their address is not updated their location is actually on Monteciello attached to MacArthur mall. (old Texas de Brazil) Staff was friendly and accommodating even had live music which was was perfect considering it was my wife's birthday. Good vibes, energy and food definitely recommend for any occasion to check out.

I am not familiar with Norfolk and like to know where can one to park close by.?Thank you

If you can't find street parking there are parking garages about a block away which was about a 5 minute walk. The main street garage or Plume street garages are close.

This spot definitely got a nice date night vibe to it. Darkly lit. Super chill hostess but limited seating. There are maybe 6 to 8 tables total including a L shape bar that you can pull up to which is exactly where we sat. The bartender was really on point the night we visited. Immediately took our order, gave us a quick perusal of the drinks, and then promptly poured three different types of spirits, a wine for my first brother, a vodka and cranberry for my second and a whiskey flight that they had on the special for myself. We enjoyed all three. In terms of food, we ordered a couple of different appetizers, including the pizza. And I actually was hoping we were going to order dinner because all of the entrees that we saw hit the bar around us looked fantastic. We ended up connecting with a really cool local business owner by the name of Sonny, who is also at the bar having a bit of dinner before heading back to his Shop. That made the overall night even better. This is definitely a spotI will be checking out when I'm back in town.

We started with the sangria flight and then let her surprise us by choosing our second flight, and she absolutely nailed it! For lunch, we ordered the shrimp taco appetizer, the steak panini, and the grilled chicken & prosciutto panini. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfect for a lighter lunch. They actually give you two pieces of steak and I took the other one home. It was cooked perfectly to a medium rare with great smokiness. The green beans were a little salty. The yuca was good. The broth was flat and still had a wine taste to it. When I told the owner, he agreed that the wine taste was overpowering and told me they got a new chef who tried a new recipe and that they will go back to the old recipe. For entrees I got the lamb chops with risotto and she crab soup. The lamb was very tender but the flavor was lacking. It was also luke warm. The she crab soup was good but too salty. The owner also acknowledged that as well. The risotto was okay. Nothing special. My husband got the grilled bronzino and broccolini. I tried some and I liked the taste but he said it could have used more flavor. Broccolini was steamed and I wish they had grilled it instead. The bread pudding was the star of the entire meal. It was made of donuts. It was moist, sweet, and delicious. Drinks: We got a bottle of champagne and two cocktails. Drinks were all very good Service: This is probably why I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 3. The service was very good. First, they called me prior to my reservation and asked if they could pre-chill any wine or champagne for my husband's birthday and I was very appreciative of that. When we got there, our drinks came out a little slow but our waiter comped that immediately. Throughout the night, the owner checked in on us several times and that stood out to me.
