Beautiful location in the downtown Norfolk area. The ambience is beautiful, spacious with amazing art. I really enjoyed the server paying attention to detail. All of the food was made fresh to order. He was very polite , fast and extremely patient with our large party. The calamari dish was great, the Mexican candy margaritas were unique and quite strong. I enjoyed the fish. The live performance from American Idol participant Tobias Cortez set the perfect food. He played so many genres of music, mesmerizing the crowd.

The ambiance was great and warm. Great music and the customer service was on point. We started with pork belly and a house salad, which were great! Once I saw the risotto on the menu, I knew I had to order it... Unfortunately, the rice was not cooked all the way through, and it was a bit undercooked, which was disappointing. The Brussels sprouts came in a soupy sauce which wasn't the best. The mac, mash, a pork chop were good.

Morning Fellow Yelpers! It's ya favorite critic again with another out of this world find!! Located in Downtown Norfolk on the side of the MacArthur Center. We came to celebrate my cousin's 40th birthday! I've been to some nice establishments, but this one sticks out! I thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. The service was unmatched! The food was impeccable! And, the experience was memorable! Our server was one of the best in the business. We didn't experience long wait times, our beverages were refilled in a timely manner, and anything we requested surpassed our expectations. It was a few quiet conversations being had, but the live music is really what put this place over the top. I have been back several times since then and every time It gets better and better. I would recommend this establishment for anyone looking for good food and good times. Stop in and find out for yourself

They had a large party the day we went but the restaurant is fairly large and should be able to handle a large party along with other guest. Our reservation was at 5:30 hoping to be at the Scope by 7:30. We were a party of two and it took over 20 minutes to get drinks and a little over an hour to get our meal. I ordered the red snapper with fried rice, Salmon Caesar salad and the fried okra appetizer (never came to the table). There was a waiter or bus boy cleaning tables all around spraying a strong cleaner around the tables. The tables were too close together for that type of cleaning. Overall, Brothers food wasn't terrible but for the price the service and food should match the cost and mandate gratuity.

I'm going to start this review with a shoutout to our server Rishona! She was hilarious, personable, and communicated with us appropriately. She definitely helped us make some tough decisions as it related to what we wanted to order. Now the food, I honestly do not have one complaint. My boyfriend enjoyed his steak and he is a steak fanatic but the sides were his favorite part of the meal. They are on it in the kitchen! Everything had amazing flavor and I'm so glad we ordered different options because it was hard to pick a favorite. We only took home 1/4 of the chicken and a dollop of the mashed potatoes so that says a lot. We also saw the chefs cooking things for a party upstairs so if you're looking for a place to hold an event with great food add Brothers to your list. We also got to chat with the owner which I enjoyed because I felt it showed he cared about his patrons, business, and making the restaurant a welcoming atmosphere. I love supporting black owned businesses and if I could give them 10 stars I honestly would!

I celebrated a friends birthday at the Monticello location it's just not coming up here. Such a beautiful establishment!!!! Not crowded at all. A live band/singer performed the night I was there and dinner was beyond amazing. Every bite was delicious. Those chefs know exactly what they are doing in that kitchen. Celebrity/Millionaire wall displays several people who has enjoyed themselves under the same roof I was under and I love it. The owner walked around and checked on each individual party making sure everyone was happy and content with there services. Job well done.

First, their address is not updated their location is actually on Monteciello attached to MacArthur mall. (old Texas de Brazil) Staff was friendly and accommodating even had live music which was was perfect considering it was my wife's birthday. Good vibes, energy and food definitely recommend for any occasion to check out.

I am not familiar with Norfolk and like to know where can one to park close by.?Thank you

If you can't find street parking there are parking garages about a block away which was about a 5 minute walk. The main street garage or Plume street garages are close.

It reads much more like a cozy restaurant with wine, not a wine tasting room where everyone is hovering around flights. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the space itself is interesting and comfortable. It's an easy place to sit, talk, and actually enjoy the people you're with without feeling out of place because you're not drinking. No one makes it weird, no one questions your choice, and you're not the odd one out. The food is the real anchor for me. I go for the meal, the setting, and the conversation, and that's more than enough. It feels like a legitimate dinner spot, not somewhere you're just tagging along while others drink. If you're sober or choose not to drink but still like going out, being social, and enjoying good food in a relaxed environment, this place works. I'm comfortable here, I enjoy the experience, and I'd go again without hesitation.

He came here for his first meal in town and John treated him to a glass of wine with his gourmet grilled cheese He brought us to the experience : Brussels sprouts -- delicious with sweet and spicy and hazelnut Goat cheese and beet salad: good dressing, nice mix, exactly what I wanted for dinner Truffle tots: yeah, tots are good, but with truffle and Parmesan? Wow!! The vibes here are great. There's music on but you can still talk to people. Seating at the bar or tables or, if the weather is nice, on the front porch. Second time dining here and would not return because service from Branice C. was a C- in her caring that she was even at work, to the upcharges for extra marinara sauce to go with the greasy overbreaded calamari appetizer. The oil saturated flavor was almost nauseating. Please change the oil in your fryer! Prices were not excessive but the upcharge for using a credit card was. Who really walks around with $300 cash in pocket to pay for dinner without a credit card fee. JUST ADD IT IN YOUR MENU PRICES!!!! The Boar Ragu was truly not boar but probably run of the mill ground beef and the four tiny slices of steak on the Caesar salad was a joke.
