Chicken Valdostana, Sautéed Spinach, Mashed Potatoes, Lemon White Wine Butter Sauce. Excellent! .

Who doesn't like surprises when searching for a restaurant while traveling, FKK was a hit for all four of us. Our hostess and server were absolute delights and our entrées were huge hits. What made this especially interesting was the restaurant's well thought out limited menu with 4 or 5 additional innovative specials. This, indeed, was a cozy relaxed dining experience where service, fresh ingredients, excellent food quality, flavor, taste and atmosphere intersect to give you a sum greater than its parts. Great job FKK!

    Chicken Marsala

Stumbled upon here on a snowy night and the food warmed us right up! It really is a cozy spot - the menu features comforting dishes ranging from nachos and burgers to penne and chicken parm. The previous Yelp and Google reviews showed a delicious salmon dish that we were hoping to see on the menu but the only fish dish was Fish & Chips. We opted for the Chicken Marsala, which was very well cooked - I particularly enjoyed the perfectly seasoned and garlicky sautéed spinach - and the Seafood Risotto had a very generous portion of calamari and shrimp.

Stopped here while in the area to grab a quick snack and drink to hold us over till dinner. Located in a cute little main street area to walk around we entered on the bar side which was pretty empty - I honestly thought it was closed at first. The bar set up is small and not very comfortable since your knees hit the bar (no counter overhang) but we decided to make the best of it. The bartender was nice and hospitable. She served us waters as we debated over what to get. I ordered a Paloma and the glass was huge. It was nice and refreshing. I noticed my water had some stuff floating in it but didn't bother mentioning it since I had the cocktail. Just something to be aware of. The chicken quesadilla came out hot and fresh. Honestly it was a super big, tasted fresh, and was just what we needed. Based on the pics we saw online we expected a different atmosphere. Maybe dining outside the bar area would be a different vibe but for us this just wasn't it. Based off our experience I can't really recommend it but it wasn't a horrible experience by any means.

This was our first time here. The ambience is reflected in the name...cozy. Service was friendly and helpful with her suggestions. I had the seafood risotto, while my daughter had the crab cakes and calamari along with the coconut sorbetto , and my niece had the Philly cheese steak. Everything was delicious. It was a pleasant dining experience overall and we hope to return.

Special of the day: Chicken breast with sweet ham in a Fontina sauce served with a small order of Broccolinni.

Food was tasty, service was good and the ambiance was nice and relaxing, loved the contemporary jazz music playing. The only negative, in my opinion, was the small portion of broccolini served with my dish.

My sister suggested Feeling Kinda Kozy for cocktails. We're local, but this was our first visit. The bar is small, but sleek and inviting. Our cocktails were delicious, thanks to the hospitable bartender. My sister had a lychee martini and I had the espresso martini. We were super pleased. It is a great spot to catch up with a friend or even alone. We didn't dine in, but the dining room is intimate. Reservations highly recommended. Looks like the perfect dinner spot for a special occasion

Don't get fooled - this is NOT just a bar, it's NOT typical bar food. A friend recommended it and took my wife here on a date night. The bar is connected to the restaurant and is right across from the Tomato Cafe. Nice atmosphere, smooth jazz music, and fresh flowers on the table. Had the ribeye steak and was excellent - juicy and well prepared. Wife had the quesadillas which she enjoyed. The key lime pie was very fresh and delicious. Our server Lexi was excellent - knew the menu, was friendly and conscientious. We will definitely be back.

We had date night at Feeling Kinda Cozy. The service was great throughout the entire experience. We started we martinis, I had a lychee martini and my wife had the coquito martini. We decided to skip entrees and only order appetizers, so we ordered the wings half Thai chili half buffalo, crab cakes, and the fried calamari. All were delicious! I recommend trying dinner here, you should make reservations because the dinning room isn't that large and they often have small parties.

With a name like Feeling Kinda Kozy, I admit I was expecting more of a coffeeshop with couches and a fireplace type of vibe, but this joint is definitely a bar. I'm down with that because I like bars; it sounds like they have a good happy hour, live music on the weekends, and more. As with most bars though, Monday afternoons aren't that busy, and we were the only people there. No matter, the waitress was welcoming enough, and accommodating to the fact that we had the world's most adorable child with us (even when she pulled a water glass down onto my pants). The place is family owned apparently, and the although the menu isn't going to blow your mind, they've got all the staples you'd want. We shared a burger, fries, and mozzarella sticks (and a side salad so we felt a little better about our health). I liked the ciabatta the properly cooked burger came on, and everything was tasty. If I had to pick, I'd say the mozz sticks were the overall winner. The lesson here is that fried cheese is better than things that aren't fried cheese, and Feeling Kinda Kozy makes you feel kind of cozy.

Hidden gem in Fishkill, NY. Im from out of town but my grandma has lived here for years and has never been here. I decided to treat her while I was in town for the day. Walked in and was surprised at how big the place was. Front portion is a bar style with a couple 2 tops and around the corner is an elevated sitting area with more intimate tables and seating. Menu is diverse with something for everyone. We ordered the burrata and prosciutto which was AMAZING. Could come with a couple more bread pieces but otherwise great. My grandma ordered the burger which was perfectly cooked and not too heavy. I ordered the baby back ribs were fell off of the bone and paired with the BBQ sauce was just what I was craving. For dessert, we had coffee which was very strong and assisted me on my 2 hour drive home. The desserts I brought home to my wife were the chocolate cake & fruit tart. She said it was interesting that both lacked sweetness and while she wasn't too impressed with the tart, she liked the cakes texture. 10/10 would recommend and give new management a try! The owner came by the table multiple times to check on us and really welcomed any feedback from our experience. Thanks for a great dinner with my grandma!

Arugula, Roasted Butternut Squash, Dried Cranberries, Pecans and a light vinaigrette dressing. We added grilled chicken!

We arrived at 3:50 p.m., and they told us that they were closing in 10 minutes. Yikes. A family that arrived after us was turned away. I could see the deep disappointment in their eyes. I can only guess that BEAST doesn't want the business. Again, this was during the afternoon on one of the busiest BBQ days of the year. I.E. This wasn't some slow, late, and empty night. It was a sunny afternoon, and Fishkill's Main Street was hopping and vibrant. The staff did allow us to eat our meal, though, and didn't kick us out, but they were itching to close up shop. I guess they all have better things to be doing. (?) The food was, well, "okay" but overly pricey. The smoked wings are good here. I'll give them that. I would only get those if I ever came again (though the blue cheese dressing was weak). The other food (brisket, sausage, and mac n' cheese) was not poor, but it was also not memorable. Maybe a "C" grade all around? It's a neat spot for drinks (good spirits selection) and wings if you're in the neighborhood and they're open. But double-check their hours before heading out.

Fresh strawberries and mint were nice to see, but there was hardly any alcohol in the drink and the straw was far too narrow to be able to take a sip without it becoming obstructed. Poured woefully short as well, topped with even more ice and seltzer. Had the tempura shrimp to start. Generous portion, well seasoned. Slightly rubbery but not detracting from the dish. Aioli was great, but could have used a little more. Chili sauce was also good, but could barely get any in the ramekin it was in. Bacon cheeseburger with mushroom for my main followed. Looking back, there was actually NO bacon on the burger. Not sure if the kitchen overlooked it, or what. $4 for added mushrooms seemed a bit exorbitant at first, but they were oyster mushrooms. Fries were crisp and wonderfully seasoned. Ordered the burger medium - came out medium and juicy.... But absolutely flavorless. If their head chef loved salt like their fry cook, this burger would have been spectacular. The mushrooms never got to drive off extra water because of the lack of salt, and the meat just fell flat without seasoning. I wanted to love this burger, but I just couldn't no matter how hard I tried. Had the crack pie, advertised to be similar to Monofuku Milk Bar... for someone who had crack pie multiple times before it became the phenomena it is now, this falls short, by a lot. The chess pie filling is far too dense, lacking caramelization. The pie crust was undercooked and anemic. Sugar decoration on top added zero value to the dessert, and coconut ice cream is far too competitive a flavor to put against this dessert. Sauces on the plate were weak and boring eye service. Paid my $80 bill, tipped (even though the bartender was rarely seen or asking how things were), and headed out. For a quiet weekday, the service and quality of food were severely underwhelming.

We ordered oysters, prosciutto with watermelon, chickpea-crusted fried calamari, scallops, and two pasta dishes--one with veal and the other with scallops. Plus cocktails and wine. The oysters were magnificent--fresh and delicious. The pasta wasn't particularly memorable, but the scallops turned out to be very tasty... While the dishes weren't extraordinary, they were certainly tasty enough. The most unpleasant--and even awkward--part was that the waiters were in no rush to clear away dirty dishes (and sometimes didn't do it at all), even though the tables there are quite small. You end up eating surrounded by dirty plates and glasses, which certainly doesn't help the impression of the service quality. Even when we asked for the dishes to be cleared, it didn't happen. We were told they would clear everything when they brought our second round of cocktails, but since the cocktails never arrived, the dirty dishes stayed on the table. It's unlikely we'll visit this restaurant again. We live just a seven-minute drive away, but we have no desire to spend over $300 again to eat in an atmosphere reminiscent of a roadside diner.

Overall, while the appetizers and overall execution didn't quite match the upscale price point yet, the entrées and attentive staff gave us enough reason to come back and give them another try.
