Again, another fabulous dinner and evening at Crew! The quality and presentation of the food was exceptional! Our friendly server Rob was extremely attentive and provided descriptions on the various entrees. I started with a light, delicious cherry Bellini. Not too sweet, a beautiful color of pink bubbly goodness! Just what the doctor ordered! Husband had a great local IPA out of Brooklyn. When he couldn't decide, he was offered a samples to try. My entree was the best Pasta Bolognese I've had in a very long time! I'm an Italian and it transcended me back to childhood in my mother's kitchen! The rich abundant meat flavor blended perfectly with the spiced tomato sauce! It was a truly delicious dish ladled over the cooked just right al dente pasta! Deliciousness at 100% ! I highly recommend it! Husband had the huge, thick cut , bone in pork chop! Unbelievable flavor! The glaze was deliciously savory with hidden tastes of sweet Asian over perfectly charred cut up sweet potatoes and sticky rice on the side. Both our dinners portions were very large offering plenty for another meal at home. This was our fourth visit to the restaurant . Next time we are traveling up here to Poughkeepsie for work from Boston area we will certainly return! Each visit gets better and better! We were pleasantly surprised, having traveled here for a family my wedding weekend. It was so hot outside the door to the restaurant was untouchable but the hostess from inside ran out to let us in. The food was delicious. Salad was tasty and the fresh warm bread with the flavorful butter was excellent. I had salmon and usually I am not fond of restaurant spinach but their spinach was delicious as well as the salmon. Simone was our server and she was very attentive. So glad we chose to eat here . My brother and I visited Crew Restaurant earlier this month and the food was about the most delicious food I've ever tasted. I ordered the Chicken Satay and came back for more two days later. Truly a treat and the owner and all the staff were very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend Crew Restaurant. The restaurant was packed when we arrived so I figured that the food must be good. We were not disappointed. My hubby had the special - buffalo chicken wrap with a side of fries and he devoured it. It had the right amount of crispy chicken tenders dipped in BBQ sauce , coleslaw, bacon and lettuce. Yum. I had the Reuben with coleslaw and I have to admit it was pretty good. The pastrami is made in house and the right balance of sauerkraut, cheese and sauce worked very well together. The French Toast bread pudding sealed the deal. We went as a party of 6 at 6:00pm on Thursday night before our students college move in the next day. Easy reservation process online arrived 15 minutes early and were seated without hesitation from the kind hostess even though they were quite busy. Our server was awesome very knowledgeable of the menu and made wonderful suggestions. I ordered the chicken dinner off of her suggestion and we were not disappointed. My husband and mother in law shared the prime rib which was outstanding! My son had the beef bolognese which was very rich comforting and delicious. My oldest son had the steak and frites which he said are top notch delicious. My daughter ordered the chicken pasta dish and said it is phenomenal as well so you cannot go wrong all amazing dishes. Chef Tom came and said hello to our table after our meal which was a welcome surprise. We will be back in October and will return to Crew for another awesome meal. We went to the crew years ago and thought it was a bit pricey. So we decided to try it again. im big fan of fish and chips. So special on the menu fish and chips I thought ok for $38 bucks I should get a huge piece of fish right? Wrong I got a piece of fish the size of my of my four fingers and plate full on what seemed like frozen shoe string French fries. no authenticity what so ever and the portion. Just stopped in for a drink here for my second and final time. Was enjoying a very tasty small plate and cocktail with the friendly bartender when a man I believe was the owner decided to turn up the volume on the quiet television to play the State of the Union address. I told the bartender I'd prefer to enjoy my food and drink without politics, and she appeared to mention that to him, which prompted him to turn the TV up to full volume (97!), so I left a nice tip and split. It's a shame when someone who runs a very nice business wants to make customers feel unwelcome because they aren't interested in being force fed political views, but sadly that seems to be America in 2026. Plenty of other good places to be welcomed regardless of your beliefs. read more

A pricey, trendy, hang out with lots of brew as well you'll find a Crew. I hadn't been here in quite a few years, because my original experience was subpar. This time I went with a colleague, and really enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere. The food was fresh and they were sensitive to my food allergies. Portions are very large, so expect to take some home for your lunch the next day. This is a small bar restaurant in a small strip mall next to Halftime Beer store in Poughkeepsie. We stopped for a late lunch and to watch the Jet game at the bar. We had the seared ahi tuna with a carrot salad .. tuna was seared perfectly, we also share the chicken satay with a peanut dipping sauce .. chicken was tender and the dipping sauce was delicious. We shared the blackened chicken sandwich..again chicken was tender and spicy!! We would like to go back a try the burger..which is the same burger supplier that they have at Minetta tavern in NYC .. unfortunately they had run out. Definitely recommend for lunch!! read more

We have eaten at 5-Star restaurants across Europe and South America not to mention the US. We have yet to find a restaurant that equals Crew. Very overrated and expensive for what it is.... I'm actually shocked this place is always packed full of people but I guess they have their regulars. None of the food was bad but it just wasn't great. Appetizers and bread were very tiny portions. It was a pretty hot day but the restaurant was also hot when it should be nicely air conditioned. They also sit you so unbelievably close to other customers so you can't even have a conversation without someone listening in. It's very awkward. Regular sized people have trouble getting in between the tables without knocking into each other. The only great thing was the service as our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Watery yet still somewhat enjoyable (and somewhat strong) cocktails. However the Ny fashion was so sweet I couldn't bare it. Tasty juices. Surprisingly welcoming for being an all american place. Although the hostess did her best to fidget with the tablet looking for an excuse not to seat us in a nearly empty space (which turns out has even more space in the back completely empty), we were sat in the empty back area where we saw the side of america this place lands on. Although I worry where my funds will be going seeing as this establishment is in favor of a near dictator (Ronald McDonald Trump) I didn't feel in danger, and with an endless bread supply, we continued on. We came in around 340 ordered by 350 waited until 5:10to get our food and devoured it by 5:20. From then on our waiter actually came far more and we felt rushed.... Everyone loved their food (pasta/burgers). I myself liked my goat cheese salad but the sweet potato chips were insanely salty. So that's an hour wait for two sandwiches, a pasta and salad............ Overall although our waiter was super welcoming, nice and helpful that wait, even with an endless bread supply, was unacceptable. We went here for the first time, and so I'm hovering between 3.5 and 4 stars. We read the reviews before we went, and checked out their website -- given the chefs are CIA trained and the gorgeous photos online, we thought this was a nicer place, and so dressed up for a date night. Everyone else was in shorts and t-shirts, so we felt kind of out of place. But fortunately, we were taken into the back where there are also tables and it's not as loud. The front is where the bar is -- so if you're looking for more of a bar atmosphere, sit in the front. If you're there for date night or to catch up with friends, you'll hear each other better in the back. The food was really good -- I had the Asian chicken salad, and my partner had a pasta dish (see photos). The portions are large, so you might want to share. My salad lasted two days, which was great. We also went on a Saturday night -- if you choose to do that, definitely make a reservation, and be patient; our food took almost 45 minutes to come out because it was so packed. But once it did, we enjoyed it. The servers and hosts were nice and friendly. I definitely plan to check Crew out again on a weekday or night. read more

This is a class act! The service is excellent, the taste and presentation of the dishes is comparable to any good restaurant in Manhattan and the ow er/ chef sources local produce and meats. All of the chefs went to the culinary Institute of America and it shows On a three day trip to the environs I ate here twice: Once a large salad with pulled rotisserie chicken and later a fabulous organic rare Burger with vegetables that were so good - they were blanched and then sautéed that I might return there just to order the vegetables. Their pastas with shrimp are great, they have a rare tuna sushi appetizer that I loved! Went with a local to dinner at Crew while we were in town. Our friends frequent Crew so we were excited to try it out. Our server was so nice, knowledgeable and cute. She interacted with us like she had known us for years. We got the empanada's to start and they really hit the spot. I decided to try the Monkfish and hubby got the filet mignon. It was super delicious and all.of it was so flavorful. My understanding is the menu changes based on season. Came here not knowing what to expect. The place is well lit and well designed, it's clean and well organized. A little bit to much staff but maybe it gets busier and they are needed we were here for an early dinner. The food was top notch . This place had the best burger I've ever eaten. The fries were fantastic and tasted amazing, the potato croquets were perfectly executed and crisp. The service was very very responsive and knew their job. This review is being left from the comfort of the Red Line Diner. After reserving the chef's counter on RESY for a birthday dinner at Crew we were sat at a table in the dining room. 75 minutes later we received 3 glasses of wine and an appetizer {shown} - plus a few slices of bread we needed to ask for since the salads hadn't arrived yet. The staff was obviously under a magic spell cast by the magician entertaining in the dining room. Meanwhile IRL, my wine and patience was vanishing right before everyone's eyes. We left, lamented the experience with friends at TVR in Beacon and regrouped with the rest of our party at Red Line all in less time than was spent waiting on our mains at Crew. read more

(Tho they seemed clustered together- maybe before a large event or Friday Night rush) Decor is lovely and it's a spacious dining area.There is also a large party room and smaller party room as well. Menu is small but the app and main was delicious and well portioned. The cocktails were- *chef kiss! Doesn't look like much from the parking lot but never judge a book as they say. This place was jam packed with customers, music just the right level, the place was hopping on a cool rainy Wednesday evening. 2 bars to sit at, one regular the other in front of their open kitchen so you see everything. I sat in front of the kitchen/grill. Oysters on the half shell were perfect. Seared ahi tuna was beyond perfect. Grilled salmon dinner was on point with couple glasses of vino. Server was excellent. Thanked the grill chef who was very appreciative and interactive. Even got to shake hands with the owner and thank him face to face. This place is a GEM. You will not be disappointed.
