The day after I noticed the paint didn't match & there were scratched from a buffing machine. Took the truck back & spoke to the staff. They were only willing to remove the scratches. Poor service and I guess the damage to my car wasn't big enough for Dan. I recently took my car to Brotman for an estimate and was referred to Dan since he "handles" claims from State Farm. He looked at my car, said he needed the initial estimate from State Farm. So, I immediately emailed it to him. However, he said he couldn't take my car then but to call him a week later. So, I did that at least 4 times in over a span of over a month. Anyhow, this rude ass didn't want to take my car because it wasn't a big job for him. He would always ask me about my car before hand, then would always say, call me in a week. They don't think they need us customers so they can keep their business to themselves and see where they go with it. read more

The guy (cant remember his name) had an extremely rude demeanor, claiming that he "couldn't help me as they only assisted customers who had insurance referrals". My Dad's insurance sent us here to repair the damage to my Dad's car. Other reviews were correct, they need work on their people skills. When we arrived, a man was on the phone so we sat ourselves down. Waited about fifteen minutes for the man to talk to us. He said the repairs would take a week and walked us to the rental place next door. It was convenient that the rental lot and repair shop are right next to each other. Our insurance covered a car rental for ten days. After the ten days, the shop had not finished the job. They stated that they found frame damage and needed a few extra days to work on it. Our insurance no longer covered the rental so we had to return it. We got a call saying that both front tires had to be replaced because the accident had damaged them. We were told that our insurance covered one tire, but they'd sell us the other tire for $80. So we agreed. It is now Monday, and I'm calling to see if the repairs are finished. The car has been in repairs for almost three weeks now. I called at 9:30am, and was placed on hold. I was on hold for half hour, so I hung up and called back. I'm was on hold for six minutes this time. I was told that they'd be done with the car by the end of the day today or tomorrow morning. Will update review when the car is picked up. Update: I called three days after my review around 5:30pm. I asked about the car and they said it's not done yet. At this point it's been almost a month now. read more

I was originally referred here by my insurance company to have my vehicle repaired, and after bringing my car by to receive an estimate; I can honestly say I will never do business with Brotman Auto Body. First off, the guys sitting at their desk are incredibly rude. Both in person and on the phone. When I arrived later in the day to receive my quote, the guy helping me was incredibly passive aggressive, saying I shouldn't have come so late even though I came during regular business hours. He then made me wait 30 minutes while he sat at his desk and made phone calls, when it only took him 2 minutes to walk around my car and give me an estimate. Then when I asked to be notified when the parts for my vehicle were in stock, they never called me back. Seriously, don't waste your time dealing with them. I had my insurance company refer me to another body shop just because I really did not want to do business with them and the difference in customer service is night and day. Valuables stolen from car. After a minor collision that damaged my suspension, Geico directed me to Brotman's. The repairs were completed in 9 days. I picked up my car, and after a quick inspection realized my Ray Ban sunglasses tucked behind the passenger seat were missing. I shared the theft with Shunt, the Geico damage adjuster, and the manager on sight, and I received the clichè, "you shouldn't have left valuables in the car." I took most valuables with me when dropping off the car and realized I forgot my glasses only after getting home. I might've been naive, but I trusted that mechanics would do their job and repair my car, not ransack my car for any valuables they could find. I feel that's a reasonable expectation when entrusting a business you're paying big money to. But nope. Glasses were gone, I questioned what accountability measures they held their staff to, and they didn't respond with any. My customer service experience with Shunt was average. He was polite. He assured me that I would receive text updates throughout the repair, but he did not. I'd like to give Brotman's more stars because they were not terribly rude to me, but I think the trustworthiness of a company carries much more weight, especially dealing with auto repairs. If you do choose to come here, be cautious. Employees do steal from vehicles here, and you, the customer, will be the one paying for it. read more
