Our Honda Odyssey was vandalized in December and was trying to find a local body shop for repair. There are many Auto Body's in the area and happened to come across R M Auto Body Shop. I arrived on a Saturday, and the owner Raul gave me a run down on the next steps. He was very cordial and explained to me the process with insurance and repair. We got the vehicle back approximately 2 weeks after drop-off. It was a bit long but from my understanding Progressive insurance took a couple days to have an adjuster come down and inspect the vehicle therefore causing the delay. Otherwise, once the insurance was settled, our vehicle was worked on immediately. We're extremely happy with the repair. Raul's team did a fantastic job with the repairs. Raul has been in business for 4 or 5 decades now so it's comforting to have a shop like Raul's with a long reputation and experience. Brought my moms Honda Accord sedan to have bumper repaired. Gave written estimate right away...experienced working and xoordinating with insurance carrier. .the owner Raul knew the adjusters by name and walked me tgru the process...when he offered to repair some other dents at no charge, I knew I wanted to select this shop. I did go away to do my due diligence and visit other shops, but Rauls' incentive made the difference. The work was done in the estimated time (3 consecutive days)...the bumper looked great. And the color match, perfect. Raul and his team were friendly, professional, and gave me confidence in my choice as I have never used a body shop before. The free repair was so good, a scratch that apparently couldn't be repaired for free did show up more clearly, but the associated dents were gone....Raul gave me a discount on repairing the long scratch (takes two days), but I haven't pulled the trigger on a yes yet. I was expecting a good, quality job, even though this is my first time here. I was definitely NOT disappointed! The work was fantastic! The area repaired not only blended very, very well with the car, it looked like it came straight from the factory! It gets better. I thought that the car would probably be rinsed down to give it a clean look. Oh no! My car wasn't just simply hosed down or rinsed off, it was washed, dried off, the windows looked clean, and they even applied dressing to the tires! They definitely gave my car the once over, like what I would expect from Mission Car wash. The repair was also completed as promised and for the price stated on the estimate. I took my car here to fix the peeling clear coat on my driver's side door. I got a very reasonable price and an estimate of 3 days. I dropped off my car on Monday and it was finished early on Tuesday afternoon. My door looked brand new, perfectly matches the age/oxidation of the other parts of my car. Do not use this vendor. They do not do what they say they will do. They do not sand things properly and the paint bubbles up. If they deliver something to you they do not protect the work they do. Do not use this vendor. They promises to come to do onsite repairs and they never showed up. They blocked our calls to them. We paid them a substantial amount of money for the poor work done. Do Not Use this vendor! You will be sorry you did. By the way we still have not heard from them and I feel bad for our community that will be stuck with this poor work. read more

Please note, if you Google R M body shop there are similar 1 star reviews for this business. I do not recommend this place! Go to Marco's body shop or Seidner's collision center and get the job done right the first time. My car was keyed all around and so needed and new paint job. Knowing nothing at all about body shops, I asked my local mechanic where would be a good close place that I can take my car too.. My mechanic being down the block from R M, suggested me to take my car there. Apparently, the two have a good relationship being they are just down the street from one another. So I spoke to Raul, got a price estimate and also an estimated time of completion. He was well aware that I would be using a rental during the time of repair... However, instead of the 3 weeks he estimated.. He held my car for 6 weeks. When he told me to finally pick up my car, I asked him "are you satisfied with the work?" He said "yes, the car came out great". When I picked up my car, all the window moldings were cracked, the paint had lumps, parts of the molding were painted over. And all the exterior plastic parts were originally black had a white residue from the chemicals they used. I told the owner Raul that the job was not a 4,500 dollar paint job. I refused to take the car and he promised to get it all fixed. He said that he was "behind schedule and wanted to get the job done already". 3 days later I got a call saying that everything is complete. The paint job looked a lot better as they wet sanded the paint, replaced the moldings, and gave the car a final buff. I took my car home and later noticed, both electrical seats are tilted. The license plate with my registration tags are misplaced (front to back). Air seeping in through the windshield. Interior cloth lining around the windshield coming off. By the way, my car is a BMW 5 series. My rear window switch was flipped backwards and coming off. After seeing all this I immediately called Raul and left a message on his voice mail, called my bank and made a stop payment on his check. Now, I personally would call my customer back right away after hearing a voice mail that says "I found all these things wrong with my car, you need to get this taken care of". But no, not Raul. In fact, I had to call him and when I did he was "too busy at the moment". He didn't take my call until I told his secretary/daughter that I made a stop payment on his check. That was when he got on the phone. He angrily asked "why would you do that? Bring your car in and we'll get it fixed" When I brought my car in, he dumbfounded looked at the tilted seats and agreed that they were not like that when I brought it in. After having the mechanic look at my car seats and getting an estimate that was close to the cost of the entire paint job to fix the seats. He started to deny having anything to do with the broken seats. He argued and argued, called me a "snake" for stopping the payment on the check. He did eventually pay the mechanic to get everything fixed however the seats lasted no more than a week until breaking again. I was so upset, I ended up selling the car a couple of months after the whole incident. read more

My family and friends have been coming to R M for 10+ years. Back then they used to do a decent job, but their service has significantly gone down in recent years. The past 4 visits between myself and my friends have been negative. I brought my car in roughly 3-4 years ago, where my rear quarter panel had to be reshaped and repainted. It seemed ok, but the paint started flaking off after 2 years. Prep work had to have been shoddy. My friend has taken a couple cars in recent years. One time the car's headlight was dangling off. They must have forgotten to bolt something up. Another time he noticed they used double sided tape to hold his bumper in place because clips were missing. Why not just order new clips?... They're not that expensive. During a recent visit, which may have come with the cheap price, they didn't put the mudflaps back on the car and just left them in the trunk. The fender liner was just dangling there missing the screws where the mudflaps screw in. They also didn't install the hoodliner. I'm guessing it's because they didn't have the clips. The passenger side headlight also went out. I jiggled the connection and it flickered on. They must have messed up the wiring somehow. I'm going to try to replace the bulb, but who knows what they touched or accidentally touched. I don't even want to take it back to them, because they might screw it up even more. There's also more scratches/swirl marks on the car than when we dropped it off. I just polished the paint a few months ago myself, so I know what the paint condition was like. I didn't really want to come here. I wouldn't really recommend them, at least with their recent service level. I'd rather go somewhere else and pay a little more for a better job. It's not like this was just one bad visit. It's all recent visits. R M, if you're reading this, please hold your business to a higher standard. read more

Raul is an angel and his crew are extremely professional and know what they are doing. My family and I have taken over 3 cars here to get bumpers repainted and also for minor touch ups. They always match up the color to the original paint 100% and reattach it without any damage. I've never had the cars come back with oil or paint marks inside. I would HIGLY recommend RM body shop.
