Absolute Nightmare - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. This has been, without a doubt, the most frustrating consumer experience of my entire life. The "Service" (or lack thereof): We had a technician come out and repair our fridge. We got charged way over $1,000.00 for a replacement part - just to realize that the problem was not solved. After various additional visits, the technician gave up - and said there is no solution. At that point we (of course) asked for a refund. That's when the 'service' stopped. Entirely. The Phone Hell: Trying to get an update is a full-time job. I have spent a combined total of over six hours on hold with this company. When--and if--someone finally picks up, they are rude, dismissive, and constantly refer to a 'manager' (who is NEVER available, and ALWAYS in meetings...) needing to weigh in. Twice, I was "accidentally" disconnected after waiting 45 minutes. To call this frustrating does not even begin to cover the agony (and waste of time). The Stalling: Every time I actually get a human on the line, the story changes. Every call ended with "We will do this by tomorrow." or "You will hear from us by next week." or "My manager will call you back this evening." None of those things actually ever happened. It was blatantly obvious they are just stalling to keep the money without doing the work. It took us WEEKS to finally get our money back. The Verdict: Save yourself the headache, the wasted time, and the money. Do not go into business with them. Find literally anyone else.

Steer clear. I used them in 2020, and the technician did not explain that spending $250 on a part…read moremight not actually fix the problem. We didn't realize that until he left and the problem persisted. They sent me a survey so I filled it out and the company (corporate) called me and refunded my money. I left that experience feeling like they made good on a not great experience. Fast forward 6 years later and I make an appointment for a repair. No one showed up at the allotted time. So I called and left a message with my name and phone number. The next day I get an email from the local office saying I was blocked in their system as someone they would not work with. I want to clarify that this was not because of anything other than my (legitimate) feedback on a survey and the company calling me and offering to issue a refund and agreeing that the technician did not do what he should have done. There was no altercation, no words exchanged, literally nothing negative between us and the company or technician at all. In the end, this is clearly for the best, but the unprofessionalism all around is disappointing.

This business (also known as Dale Dillon Repair Services out of residential addresses in…read moreMechanicsville and Henrico) posted multiple ads on Craigslist about a washer & dryer set for sale and claims to offer a free delivery + set-up/installation and a 60-day "fix or replace mechanical" warranty for $290. When I contacted him he said they're still available. I proceeded to ask him legitimate pre-purchase questions such as... Brand(s) of the washer & dryer? Type of plug the dryer require (3- or 4-pronged)? Payment type accepted? How would the guarantee be substantiated, orally (useless) or on paper? He answered all the questions EXCEPT for the last one and insisted that I CALL if I have any further questions (presumably so there would be no proof of record of communication). He then attempted to capture my personal identifiable info (name, address, & phone #) and claimed that he already sold 10 sets the day before (2nd RED FLAG) and he only got ONE left. I gave him the info (thankfully not my real name or exact address) and then asked him how soon would he be able to make the delivery. He said today. When I reiterated my question about the supposed warranty that he didn't answer earlier, he responded by saying the washer & dryer were have JUST [magically] been sold... Yeah, sure. I would be extremely weary of this business. And considering they only take cash or check, there's absolutely no way to hold them accountable for the promises they make on the used products they peddle. They seem to be operating a bait n' switch tactic. NOTE - I contacted them two days earlier via Craigslist email expressing interest in the $290 washer & dryer set they posted (they did not realize I was the same person) citing I would like to replace my existing stackable half-size washer and dryer that have become out of service (the dryer portion only) with full-size size models. They insisted that instead I have them repair my existing dryer for $260 for "less than an hour's" work. That's the 1st RED FLAG about this business. I would not trust these guys honestly. If you're needing your dryer repaired... and you have the space in your home to do so, it's much easier and cheaper to just go on RepairClinic.com, enter your model #, watch the repair tutorial videos, order the parts from there (shipping takes less than a week) and do the work yourself. And if you need to replace your unit and are in the market for used, just go through a private party on Craigslist which are much cheaper (less than $100 each) where you can TEST the unit on site, and hire someone with a truck and/rent an appliance dolly (if you don't already have a truck or a dolly) from Home Depot or Lowe's. As for me, I'm just going to buy a new set.

My Fiance bought a cheap washer and dryer through them because the price was right and they're an…read more"established" company. They delivered to our house way after normal business hours, didn't bring all of the parts needed for a functioning washer/dryer set (luckily we had stuff), and the dryer takes at least several cycles to dry clothes, and we've called them back and still nothing. It's almost 7 at night and they're "coming either today or tomorrow." Update: I never really updated my review, because honestly I wanted to forget my experience with this company. I am a non-confrontational person and what I experienced with them upset me. After I wrote my review I ended up calling the company at some point. I spoke with the female who answered the phone initially just to ask when they would be coming out and to try to get a refund. She started cutting me off and eventually passed the phone to the owner of the company who commented on this review below. At this point I was frustrated because I bought a dryer that wasn't working efficiently and I wasn't getting any answer of when they would be returning (just that they would be at some point). Dale came on the line and asked me if we had cleaned out the dryer vent as well as the vent in the wall. We had done both to the best of our ability without being extremely familiar with the mechanics of a dryer. Dale and I ended up getting in an argument on the phone and I was really unable to speak because he kept talking over me. He explained that I lived so far away from Richmond that it was harder to make it out, that the dryer just needed to be cleaned out (in addition to what we had already been done), my wall vent in my home needed to be cleaned out, amongst other things. I honestly hardly got a word in (in my opinion). When I did get to speak at the end of the call, Dale told me that he was going to hang up on me so I just disconnected. I got my Fiance to call them back and to tell them to cancel coming out. I ended up ordering a new washer and dryer from Lowes (both work great, so there was no issue with the vent in the wall). Honestly, as I mentioned, I did not update my review because I wanted nothing more to do with this company. I wanted to forget it ever happened. I have owned my home for almost five years and I have never had an issue with any appliance/home/etc company like I had with them. I have bought numerous appliances for my home, I have had new carpet installed, I have bought a new lawnmower... all good. Well, in addition to the comment below Mr. Dillon (or someone else on his account) also messaged me privately on Facebook. I am not going to be scared into removing an honest review, so instead, I will make it 10000% transparent. In fact, in the comments below I will post screen shots of the messages he/they sent to me. Addressing their messages to me: I'm not sure what "checking" they have done into me... but eeek. I guess I'm glad I have cameras all around my house and property (not installed by me, but now I may potentially have use for them), I work at night and my Fiance works at home so there is constantly someone there, and I have neighbors that are always at home/watching as well. It might be a little bit of paranoia thinking that they might retaliate, but I have never had issues with someone in a professional position such as this. Their comments came across as belligerent in my opinion. This is probably based on how my phone call went with them and how quickly they got aggressive. In regards to the "difficult" comment I will say that I did get an attitude towards them. This was after at least a week (or shortly thereof... I will get definite dates) of not being able to use the dryer that I purchased. They told us that they would be coming back out and still no promise of when. They were willing to come out around 9-10 at night to deliver and make money, but what about the repair? Feel free to look at any of my reviews on Facebook and yelp... I will not delete a thing. I am extremely easy going. I've never even sent food back in a restaurant! lol They are requesting me to show proof that I got the dryer professionally cleaned. Why would I pay someone else for a service that I didn't expect to need or expected them to take care of? If I had known that the dryer had needed additional work we wouldn't have purchased them. Take a look at the pictures below of the private messages. Check out this company's review with the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. I guess that's why they're quick on the defense in my opinion. I will surely update should I get a subpoena to court for a freaking Facebook review!! lol. Good thing my phone call with them was while I was at work on a recorded phone line!! Either way, is all of this really worth saving a couple hundred dollars? ...Not in my opinion. All of the information given is true of what happened to me and the rest are details of my opinion on the situation.
