The washer was making loud sounds so I called and tried to make an appointment. I was told they do not service stackables. Sold me on stackable then left me hanging. Believe the other bad reviews about their customer service, now under new management Jason Medico, sales Casey Franz. We went over a month of downtime and zero proactive communication from the store. It shouldn't the customer's job to chase down management for updates on a defective product. On March 2nd RVA Repairs, Lakeside's Asko service third party came for ten minutes and said they didn't know the problem and said would order a new main board, UI board, and latch but wasn't 100% sure that would fix it which would also be another two week turn around time to order/ship the parts and fix. Ended up having Asko send a replacement on March 9th with Lakeside Appliance's contractor who they've worked with for "over 30 years" to install it the next week. No service window was provided for when the plumber contractor would come to install new dishwasher. Had to call Appliances on Lakeside to contact them to let me know when the installation time window was. Kevin, the contractor, scratches the front of the dishwasher right off of the van and scratches the doorhandle while installing it. Avoid this store if you value follow-through and reliability.

Absolute Nightmare - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. This has been, without a doubt, the most frustrating consumer experience of my entire life. The "Service" (or lack thereof): We had a technician come out and repair our fridge. We got charged way over $1,000.00 for a replacement part - just to realize that the problem was not solved. After various additional visits, the technician gave up - and said there is no solution. At that point we (of course) asked for a refund. That's when the 'service' stopped. Entirely. The Phone Hell: Trying to get an update is a full-time job. I have spent a combined total of over six hours on hold with this company. When--and if--someone finally picks up, they are rude, dismissive, and constantly refer to a 'manager' (who is NEVER available, and ALWAYS in meetings...) needing to weigh in. Twice, I was "accidentally" disconnected after waiting 45 minutes. To call this frustrating does not even begin to cover the agony (and waste of time). The Stalling: Every time I actually get a human on the line, the story changes. Every call ended with "We will do this by tomorrow." or "You will hear from us by next week." or "My manager will call you back this evening." None of those things actually ever happened. It was blatantly obvious they are just stalling to keep the money without doing the work. It took us WEEKS to finally get our money back. The Verdict: Save yourself the headache, the wasted time, and the money. Do not go into business with them. Find literally anyone else.

I chose Monday afternoon, March 30, and the website sent an e-mail confirming the date, between 12 noon and 4 pm. On Monday, at 1:45 pm, I called the telephone number provided to ask when the technician would arrive. The local Mr. Appliance person said that my appointment is scheduled for Tuesday instead of Monday. I protested to no avail. The excuse is the Richmond office is closed on Sunday. Thus, the Mr. Appliance website CANNOT BE TRUSTED to make an honest appointment. I will report, again, after the technician visits, tomorrow, Tuesday, March 31.

This business (also known as Dale Dillon Repair Services out of residential addresses in…read moreMechanicsville and Henrico) posted multiple ads on Craigslist about a washer & dryer set for sale and claims to offer a free delivery + set-up/installation and a 60-day "fix or replace mechanical" warranty for $290. When I contacted him he said they're still available. I proceeded to ask him legitimate pre-purchase questions such as... Brand(s) of the washer & dryer? Type of plug the dryer require (3- or 4-pronged)? Payment type accepted? How would the guarantee be substantiated, orally (useless) or on paper? He answered all the questions EXCEPT for the last one and insisted that I CALL if I have any further questions (presumably so there would be no proof of record of communication). He then attempted to capture my personal identifiable info (name, address, & phone #) and claimed that he already sold 10 sets the day before (2nd RED FLAG) and he only got ONE left. I gave him the info (thankfully not my real name or exact address) and then asked him how soon would he be able to make the delivery. He said today. When I reiterated my question about the supposed warranty that he didn't answer earlier, he responded by saying the washer & dryer were have JUST [magically] been sold... Yeah, sure. I would be extremely weary of this business. And considering they only take cash or check, there's absolutely no way to hold them accountable for the promises they make on the used products they peddle. They seem to be operating a bait n' switch tactic. NOTE - I contacted them two days earlier via Craigslist email expressing interest in the $290 washer & dryer set they posted (they did not realize I was the same person) citing I would like to replace my existing stackable half-size washer and dryer that have become out of service (the dryer portion only) with full-size size models. They insisted that instead I have them repair my existing dryer for $260 for "less than an hour's" work. That's the 1st RED FLAG about this business. I would not trust these guys honestly. If you're needing your dryer repaired... and you have the space in your home to do so, it's much easier and cheaper to just go on RepairClinic.com, enter your model #, watch the repair tutorial videos, order the parts from there (shipping takes less than a week) and do the work yourself. And if you need to replace your unit and are in the market for used, just go through a private party on Craigslist which are much cheaper (less than $100 each) where you can TEST the unit on site, and hire someone with a truck and/rent an appliance dolly (if you don't already have a truck or a dolly) from Home Depot or Lowe's. As for me, I'm just going to buy a new set.

Well I had him come back to repair my refrigerator because the freezer was (is) leaking into the refrigerator. He came took my money defrosted the freezer (even though I told him I thought it was the thermostat). He said if this didn't work call and he'd come back and left. About a week later the freezer started to leak again. I called 3 different times and texted. At first he responded says he'd be right over and after several other calls and texts nothing. So seriously, save yourself some heart ache, and look somewhere else.

This is the BEST TV Repair experience I have ever had ! My 77 inch Roku 4k went Black Screen 4 days…read morebefore Xmas which was a BIG deal as Xmas was at my house because I had the BIG TV for football and Madden playing . I went through the roladex of local TV repairman and Electronics Doctor was closest to my home . I called and the man who answered was very knowledgable about my problem and professional . He asked me to text my model number to him and within 20 minutes responded back with a general idea of the issue and got some basic info and handed me over to the scheduling/intake dept. The woman from Intake called me within and hour, also very knowledgable and very professional and very honest and transparent about pricing and the overall repair process . She quoted max of $500. Parts and labor with the initial assessment cost of $75 which was standing and would be charged either way , but would be applied to cost of parts and labor should I procedd. Very Fair! Especially for a TV I paid $4000 for. She also made it clear the process could take a week or more depending on which part was faulty and if needed to be ordered. I told her no problem with this . The next step was being passed to the service technician in my area . Within 30 minutes of getting off of phone with Intake I received a call from Chris , also VERY professional and VERY knowledgable. Chris was very accommodating in scheduling around my crazy work schedule and actually came out at 8 pm the SAME night ! He arrived on time, called me when en route and showed up properly prepared with all of the tools he needed to do an assessment . He walked me through every problem my TV could possibly have and explained in Lehmans terms the repair process and cost . He was even able to put my TV up on tables he had brought in , laying out blankets and being careful was able to open up the back right in my living room and within 15 minutes figured out my problem and again explained thoroughly the problem and reviewed pricing . I paid with a credit card on his device without issue just the $75 to be applied toward the total . My TV had to go to the shop and I did not expect to see it again for another week or so I was overjoyed when I got a call from Chris 2 days before Xmas that my TV had been repaired and was ready for redelivery . The part was already in the warehouse and they put a rush on my order so my kids would have it for Xmas Football . Chris again was very accommodating and dropped off the TV at 9pm the night before Xmas Eve as their office would be closed the next 2 days. He again arrived on time and called first. After he set up my TV including reloading all of my ROKu he went through it with me and we tested together for no further issues . Things looked great and he also was very thorough in explaining the 30 day Warranty on the parts and service . My total bill was $490 and to date my TV has had zero further issues . This was an excellent experience. Great communication, prompt , knowledgable, affordable and most of all hassle free . I would use Electronics Doctor again and recommend them to anyone who needs an electronics repair. Thank you again Chris and Staff !!
