I love Heather! I've been going to her for a year now and always leave feeling so beautiful. She's so gentle and careful with my eyelashes. I love going to her because it's cozy and comfortable in the room she has set up for appointments. She makes the space feel quiet and relaxing, and for me that's super important. Look at my lashes~ I just got the my lash lift done from Heather and I am more than happy!!! It is a life changer for me. My lashes are hard to curl as I can't seem to find the curler that lays comfortably on my eyes and end up pinching my skin. Plus my lashes don't stay curled up anyway. This procedure was done fast which only took about 45 min. It's been a couple of weeks and they are still holding up strong~ Heather has gentle hands and is very sweet. She made the procedure so comfortable I fell asleep. No more curler! I highly recommend getting the lash lift especially from Heather!!! Thank you! read more

THE WORST PLACE FOR A LASH LIFT!!!! DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER COMING HERE I came in about 2 weeks ago for a lash lift and she over processed my lashes and tried to convince me that they were supposed to look like that the process was vpainful and its not supposed to be. I gave them a week and a half but they only got worse and she blocked my number Did not want to hurt the business and write this review I should have been refunded for this awful job Save ur lashes and find a better spot read more

I went to Heather because I was in a pinch and my regular lash lady was super booked. At first, i was super happy with the lashes! Now 3 weeks later and I see my regular lash lady almost half my lashes are pulled out. I never had such bad fall out ever! I had to pay to remove her clustered mess and get a new set completely. they look so dinky and sad. I texted Heather telling her what happened and she hit me with a "Sorry it's been 3 weeks no refund" apology. I DIDNT KNOW THE LASHES WOULD CAUSE SO MUCH DAMAGE IN 3 WEEKS. Also: She never mentioned that she would only take issues seriously within one week. How am I supposed to magically know that? also how am I supposed to predict how badly they would affect my lash health in a couple weeks. I am NOT a novice to lashes. I have been getting lashes done for years and use serums, take breaks, brush them. The fact that Heather didnt even bother to assess the situation that something faulty happened during the service is so unprofessional. She didnt even ask me any questions she just copy and pasted a blanket statement about her policy. I never heard her policies until now that I have an issue. This is not a good business. Ladies: Dont rush! wait for your trusted lady. Look at the other reviews of other people complaining about having to get their lashes removed. read more

Heather is an expert, professional, and super kind! I am so thankful I found her! Highly recommend her. Heather's priority is the health of your lashes and this makes all the difference. Long story short: got my lashes done by a new person (somewhere else, NOT Heather) who did not prioritize the health of my lashes and then the lashes fell out in clumps and took my natural lashes with them. Then I met Heather and she was so kind and very honest about my lashes. She used a mirror, showed me where there were holes, and walked me through it. And immediately, she provided solutions: (1) do a light set now even though she did not recommend doing any at all, she would make it work (2) use serum for the next few weeks (3) come back for a fill to touch up where the serum worked. She also shows you the lashes she has available and explain them, but also give her expert recommendation on what she should use. When I left, I had a set of lashes and when I came back, she filled in everywhere possible. She was generous about the fill. Despite what she was working with, I came out with great lashes! Taste matters and she is very sensible. I loved my lashes, they were light in weight, lasted a long time and maintained the health of my natural lashes. The quality of her work speaks for itself. Next time, I'll get to add more volume since my lashes are healthy again! I am very pleased and can't wait to see Heather again. Thank you Heather! read more

I am a regular with Heather now for four years, and prior to moving to LA, was getting lash extensions done in NYC for ten years. Heather is the best, I prefer to get full natural looking lashes and they're always perfect when I get her service. Normally, a lot of lash places don't listen to what you want and they overdue it with fake, thick, wind blowing lashes. Not Heather, she listens to you, has a gentle touch, is kind and I've never had an issue with pain or glue sensitivity. Which is a common issue I've experienced at other places. I've seen a few reviews here which complain about lashes falling off or getting sparse after three weeks, which if you get lash extensions you know that is the common process. The lashes fall off as your natural lashes grow out, which is why you go back every three weeks for care. I love my lashes each and every time I get them filled and I love Heather. I don't know what I would do without her and highly recommend her services. read more

Heather is FANTASTIC! She's so professional and full of information. I had to try her for the first time today because my previous lashes (not by Heather) were bugging me a bit after a couple fills. Heather explained why (too much glue, too many lashes on each of my natural lashes) and fixed them for me. She gave me a list of DOs and DON'Ts which I appreciate very much. 2017 Yelp 100 Challenge! 32/100 After trying out and looking around Ktown for a nice eyelash extension place(s) .... I believe I found my place. Found this new place on Yelp and made my appointment literally in couple weeks in advance. With my busy schedule and not always being in Cali I decided to visit Heather. Heather, knows whats best for you. SOooOO~~ for the first time I tried mink extensions and let me tell ya~~ I FRIGGGGIN LOOOVE IT!!! I was a little hesitant to get my lashes done because I thought they would be too dramatic or look unnatural but Ellie did an amazing job at meeting my needs. Lovely result. Monety well spent. 1st, I do not wear make-up daily. On special occasions, just pay for make-up as it's only once in a while. I had to attend a wedding as a guest, and I decided to do make-up on my own. Just CC cream, eyeline, tinted lipbalm, simple. But my short, not full eyelashes were a problem, and I was not able to apply fake lashes due to lack of experience. I've gotten my eyelash extension a day b4 the party, also my anniversary is only a few days away. I can get it for 2 occasions. Heather, professional and careful, go with basic lashes due to my short/not full lashes but added some long one to look better. Moreover, she suggested the eye brow laminate, which I've never done before. It was with 0 pain, just a cool feeling of application and 100% using my own brow. I was really happy for the result! On the party day, I've just applied cc cream on top of my sunscreen, light shadow and eyeline, and tinted lip balm only. Took only 10 minutes. But my eyelashes and eyebrows make me prettier than ever. On any special day, I will come to Heather again! =) read more

Heather is very kind, detail orientated, and precise. The space is really neat, private, and easy to find with valet parking costing only $2 + she validates. I love that I did not feel rushed as she took her time to question my desired look/get a sense of my style. She created a tapered "doll" effect and I love it! She is also extremely accommodating when booking; she worked with my schedule and even encouraged me to come back and annoy her with a few more lashes near the end of my right eye. I had my lashes done by Heather for the first time she did a terrible job my lashes were coming off the very next day when I phoned her she told me that she did not have time to redo my lashes and that I would have to make another appointment after paying her $100 and I tipped her. Amazing!!! This was only my second time getting lash extensions. I was stuck in traffic and Heather still generously worked with me. She was super nice and professional. Asked me what kind of look I was looking for an advised cat eye style mink extensions with alternating lengths (10-12mm lashes). They look dramatic yet natural. My original lash technician moved to the east coast and I was struggling to find another lash technician until I found Heather through Yelp. She has proven to be one the quickest lash technicians I have ever encountered, and she is also very sweet! Heather also does eyebrows, and for the longest time I've been wanting to get mine done! She's very gentle and patient with my sensitivity to pain. It was very comfortable and eventually i got used to it. Heather was extremely kind, but regarding strictly her services.... * she was extremely slow (took 2.5 hours) * kept sighing while doing my lashes * the lashes itself (even though I chose mink) was way thicker than other lash artists & created a dull heavy look to your face * there is only one person working here and only one bed at the far back of some small hair stylist shop. Getting an appointment with heather can be quite inconsistent as some weekends she would be completely free while other weekends she'll be completely booked. + the lashes did however stay on for quite a long time (1 month and 2 weeks) without any drastic decrease in volume Overall, kind lady and the service for the price wasn't bad, but there are definitely way better lash services out there. read more

I've been going here for several years. I have been receiving eyelash extensions for 20 years, but this is the first place where I am as comfortable and have excellent skills. First of all, great customer service . Heather is Super accommodating, so grateful that she was able to fit me in same day and worked with my schedule . I have long eyelashes but they won't hold a curl , so I was spending money on $18 reusable lashes which worked great until you lose them or are running late for work in the a.m. . First time trying eyelash lift and I am very satisfied, will be doing it again . Heather is located in a business center (building)- find the suite number in the lobby and you can park inside parking lot adjacent to the building and Heather will validate . She also accepts Venmo and Zelle pay I got my lift about 15 days ago and I'm still enjoying the results! read more

I went to the pool/beach/hot springs multiple times on my vacation and my lashes stayed intact--I also sleep with an eye mask and my lashes were still perfect the next morning :) reasonably priced for great work. The lip blush for the most part wasn't too painful, it felt like rolling a microneedle roller over my lips. The part that did hurt a bit was the inner lip since no numbing cream can be applied there. I absolutely loved the results! I'm looking forward for it to heal and turn into a more natural color.

When I first came in, my skin barrier was in really bad shape from trying way too many products and doing way too much to my skin. They told me my skin barrier was super thin and needed a lot of TLC. After consistently coming here for the past three years, my skin barrier is SO much stronger, my skin is clearer, and so much more glowy. I only wear a tiny bit of concealer in my day to day and get SO many compliments on my skin now. This was not the case before and I owe it all to Joy (my facialist)! Joy is my facialist, and she is truly the best. I absolutely love seeing her and look forward to every facial. Her treatments feel like a combination of a lymphatic drainage massage, extractions, and LDM all in one. It's so relaxing, but at the same time, I always leave feeling like my skin has actually been taken care of and reset. She knows my skin so well and always knows exactly what I need. Anytime I have an emerging pimple, it completely disappears after my facial because of her work. I also get microneedling here about once a month or every other month, and it has completely transformed my skin texture. I really appreciate that they don't just do the same thing every time, they look at what my skin needs and will add things like red light therapy or whatever they think will help with healing and getting the best results. I also get Botox here, and this is genuinely the best place I've ever gone for Botox. I've had some pretty bad Botox experiences in the past, including in Korea, where I really hated how it looked. At Irene's, my Botox is always done very conservatively and naturally. I still look like myself, just more refreshed. And to top it off, the entire staff is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and I especially love seeing Irene and Edward there. Every time I walk in, they greet me with the biggest smiles, and they are just the sweetest, nicest people. You can really tell that everyone here genuinely cares about their clients. After three years of coming here, I truly trust Irene's Skintopia with my skin. They've helped me repair my skin barrier, keep my skin clear, improve my texture, and maintain results that still look natural. It is worth every single penny, and I'm so grateful I found this place. He formed 'millia' around both his eyes…read more I researched and called couple of other clinics, but they rejected, or saying that we have to make at least 3 appointments to remove them, which I felt like it was total scam. Irene's Skintopia made the appointments easy, and they were very friendly. I believe it was Irene herself who did the procedure: 15mins for cream anesthesia, and only few mins for actual removal of millia. She made it look easy peasy! :) I was able to see the procedure and staff helped record video of it, and we all laughed because it was like Dr.Pimplepoppers. AWWW It was so satisfying to see millia popping out like a ping pong balls. We squashed it and said ewww. lol. Now it's all healed up nicely and you can't even tell it was ever there. :) Thanks Irene and the team for the flawless job! :)

Truth is, fear of pain, was the main reason I choose not to opt for permanent makeup. My initial thought was...why did I wait so long to have permanent brows?! It was virtually painless & I no longer needed to buy eyebrow color & a time saver...for me! On 8/23/2022, my friend and I had our second brow maintenance & 4th visit to Camilla. Our face and eye orbital cavity differs and Camilla explained again that she creates brow shapes to match the bone structure rather than what's in fashion...for a more natural look. The facility is very clean and there are partitions for privacy. A small parking lot is available on Beverly. Price for both eyebrow and eyeliner are very reasonable compared to elsewhere. Touch up after the initial 4 weeks is included in the price. Rachel has about 30 years of experience in the beauty industry so you can trust her work.

There are so many eyebrow service outlets all around Los Angeles and I often find myself stuck in a dilemma having to choose. Especially being male, a lot of eyebrow technicians cannot fully discern what it is that I want. I am under the impression that it is because the disparity in the ratio of female to male customers is significant. That is why I am hesitant to try out new establishments because I feel like I will be walking out of said establishment without receiving the service and quality of work that I expect from a professional. However, I took a chance and walked into her office, and the hidden gem was found. Heather changed all of my preconceived notions regarding the lack of competence found in eyebrow technicians: a paradigm shift if you will. Sadly, I chose this place based on the reviews. I asked her to do classic deluxe which I never heard of but I get classic lashes . The burning throughout the entire procedure caused such pain and my eyes to tear through the entire time. That has never happened in my 5 years of lashes. The pain was unbearable but I pushed through. She later explained to me she places extensions under the lashes rather than on top as most lash people. And she shared that people who visit her complain of irritation. She never said that at beginning My lashes looked horrible, they looked plastic and very stiff. They felt uncomfortable for at least 3 days. I noticed when I went home there were clumps of many extensions attached to 1 lash and so messy with so much glue that I was never able to comb them as I do daily. Many of my lashes were folded and glued onto other clumps . The worst experience in my life. I went back to my original lady and told me there were definitely NOT classic and damaged a few of my lashes . Please do your research. I don't know how they have such good reviews. Looked like my 10 year old did my extensions

Lastly, she tried to charge me for a deluxe but I didn't ask for a deluxe and it wasn't even a deluxe bc I probably would've paid for it but she said oh I did deluxe but won't charge you. Knowing full well it wasn't a deluxe. In fact it was less full than my regular set I get normally.

However I think this lady don't have any idea how to work on Asian style eyelashes. It's way too long for me that I look horrible. It's not even symmetrical, there's a big gap at the corner of my left eye and she said it's hard to do it. And the eyelashes are very hard and uncomfortable. I had eyelashes extensions before and it never disappoints me. But I looked like a clown this time, I was so worried this gonna ruin my trip, so I had to go home and cut them by myself.
