The staff is very friendly however I don't understand the point of making an appointment at this location. I scheduled to get my lashes done at 6, appointment got pushed to 6:30 which I was okay with but then I had to wait an additional 25 minutes to start my service. I got a full set of individual lashes which is a very temporary thing (2-3 weeks according to Sadaf) however I noticed the next day that I already had lashes coming off. I texted her asking if I could come in to get them fixed and she said yes, to come in at 6. On arrival she greeted me at the door and took a look at my lashes then proceeded to tell me that that's how they were and she believed they looked fine... I asked if she really didn't see the lash coming off as to which she replied she could add a little bit of glue which is all I wanted, an adjustment to the service I paid for. She then walked away to grab water for a client she was working on and didn't bother to tell me a time frame even though I arrived at 6 like she had asked... I waited an additional 15 minutes before walking out. She texted and called me at around 6:35 which makes me believe I would've been waiting another 20 minutes had I not left when i did! My right eye is completely wonky and I've had to add my own glue in order to keep the lashes on, worst $45 I've ever spent on self care. read more

I got my first leg, bikini and armpit wax here and it was the absolute worst! I was very disappointed. The lady who didn't completely seem like knew what she was doing. Each time she would strip the wax tape off it was never in one fluid motion. It was choppy and more painful than it should been. And even after her "checking" to see if she got all the hair, when I got into my car I found several area missed.... and I was going on vacation the next week. It was a waste of money. read more

I used to go see Sahar and Maya when they first opened a suite in the Phoenix Salons off of park and Preston. They were great back then. I have been to their new establishment off of Coit and Parker before the pandemic and then during I decided to play it safe and not go. I was happy to see they had made it through the pandemic, but I have visited them on 3 different occasions since then and each experience has been different. I left a review and Sahar immediately reached out and advised me to come back so she can fix the service complimentary, so long as I remove the Groupon review. Unfortunately I could not remove the Groupon review but gave them another stellar review for the awesome customer service Sahar provided. Fast forward a month or so and I purchase the Groupon once more, the same exact one, but this time apparently you don't get a Brazilian but rather a Bikini wax according to the technician. This time my technician did a really good job but because of the price discrepancy, lack of clarification, and inconsistency on both Groupon and their website I'm giving them a 4 star rating. Sahar did reach out to me just recently and advised that the Groupon did change. So long as the owner is aware of it, and that what the technicians are saying is valid, I am okay with change. I took my daughter to se their waxing service. Women and Bow & Wax Wizard, friendly and professional. Did a great job on waxing. They use the soft wax with fabric strips instead of the hard wax that is stripless. Daughter stated it was low pain in comparison to other salons she's gone to. Their prices are amazing. This was my first time getting waxed and it went really well! Booked appointment late the night before for afternoon the next day with no issue. Got there a few minutes before appointment time and checked in no issue. I was only in the waiting room for a few moments before getting taken back. I was only getting a leg waxing and when I was taken back I mentioned I tended to have a heat sensitivity and was told it would be no problem. It wasn't! She would check in and make sure the wax wasn't too hot At one point it did heat up a bit, but as soon as I let her know she went about fixing it, and it was back to a good temperature shortly. I got a full leg wax and was done in somewhere from 30-40 minutes. I was also offered other waxing services in the room, but wasn't pushed when I declined which was really nice. I don't think she mentioned her name at the beginning, but did let me know before I left that her name was Erica. For how nice and attentive she was, how quick the process went, and the price this service was unbeatable. I definitely will be going back! read more
