I came here a few days ago to get a new hairstyle and I was absolutely not disappointed. Honestly, with the new year starting, I wanted something new and refreshing besides my usual plain straight black hair, so i decided to step out of my comfort zone and went for a balayage (it's pretty similar to ombre except the color placement is more vertical rather than horizontal) in order to kick start the new year. To say I was extremely satisfied is an understatement. My hairdresser, Nina, was not only exceptionally friendly and careful throughout the two-hour process, but also the end result just left me speechless. At first, I didn't have high hopes for my new hair look since it originally already seemed a little damaged by the edges but after opting for a dark brown wavy balayage, it actually looked absolutely amazing!! I will definitely come back here again (perhaps do another color because this one girl next to me did gray and it looked pretty bomb as well) so I think yall should really give it a try if you're in the area! After booking a hair appointment, I was give a number to get in touch with a makeup artist for my daughter. After jumping through hoops with different numbers, I finally had someone respond to me. I scheduled an appointment in conjunction with her hair appointment. We were texting back and forth when the makeup artist asked me what I wanted for my daughter. I said something very natural and not dramatic. I asked how much it will be. She stated it would be $50.00. I was taken aback. I responded with a "Wow," but asked what else I needed to do. At which point she came back and told me that she was going to cancel my appointment. She was extremely RUDE and didn't offer any kind of explanation. I would NEVER recommend this place. Excellent service! I stopped by and even though I didn't have an appointment, she took me in. I needed a haircut badly and my hair is extremely damaged. She took the time to ask me what I wanted to do and explained what she thought could be done. I visited Blow and Glow for the first time today to get a full set of lashes by Nhi. I must say I was impressed from the time I walked in. The salon was very beautiful and the service was exceptional - glass of wine anyone ;) Nhi made me feel very comfortable from the start; she joked that I could take a nap, but I think I actually dozed off once or twice. It was my first time ever getting lashes so I was a bit anxious about the results and about having any allergic reactions. My experience with Nhi was amazing - not only was she incredibly knowledgeable about the products she was using but also took the time to let me know step-by-step what the process would entail to help calm any fears I might. I was very glad to learn that organic products were being used and that I would have a few test lashes applied in case of any reaction. Nhi was patient, understanding, and super nice. I loved that this salon is by appointment only. I didn't have to wait when I arrived and was taken to the room where I would get my lashes done. The salon interior is beautiful and very inviting. I hate getting haircuts period. The ladies always cut double of what I request, which is the main reason I end up hating my haircuts and only get them 2-3 times a year. However, I was due for a haircut. My ends were so damaged that even when I deep conditioned and brushed, it would immediately get tangled. I found the salon by coincidence and was attracted by the interior. I ended up making an appointment. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and taken to the back to wash my hair. They cut wet, so if you don't like that or have a specific shampoo you use, be aware. Afterwards, they cut my hair and made sure that it was even all around which I give them kudos to because I get straight cuts and have never had an even cut throughout. The blowdried and styled my hair, as well as put some serum in my hair! They checked again at the end to make sure everything was even. I walked out with healthy, silky, even hair! I will definitely by back again and be getting more haircuts. read more

Located right off 1463 in the shopping center, Blow & Glow is easy to get to and has a lot of parking. The inside is decorated and designed beautifully. I appreciate the lux touches like the wallpaper and flooring, it makes me feel fancier than I really am lol. I've been here many times to get my hair cut and styled by Nina (best name ever). She has several years of experience and is just the sweetest lady, she reminds me of my own mom. I love her and our conversations every time I come visit her! My mom, mother-in-law, flower girl and I all had our hair and makeup done here for my wedding day and I'm so glad we did! I never did a trial with them before so I was nervous about the end result. All I had was an inspiration photo and my poor communicating skills of what I thought I wanted. It was easier just to let go and let them do what they do best and everything worked out amazingly! The moms looked gorgeous in their hair and makeup and my flower girl was super cute with her blush and lip gloss. I loved that they gave her a little something, it definitely made her feel special. She tried not to touch her face or put anything on her lips because she didn't want to mess it up lol! My makeup was flawless, looked fantastic in photos and video, and lasted all night. It was so pretty I just wanted to fall asleep with my face still on so when my new husband woke up he'd be like, "dang I'm a lucky guy!" I didn't though because pimples. DO NOT GET YOUR LASHES DONE HERE LADIES!! I will start this by saying my tech who did my lashes was very sweet, yet after 3 days of spending 140 on my lashes they were almost completely off I went In to get them re-done because they were coming off again I ended up just going to wonderlash to get them filled THREE DAYS AFTER I had been to here TWICE for my lashes... they had to take pictures because they were in awe at how bad they were I had to pay to get them completely taken off... my tech at wonderlash said they she put three eyelashes together to put one lash on... and CLUMPS of glue was all over my eyes... after spending almost 400 in ONE WEEK I will never be going back to blow and glow.. not worth the price or headache.... This is an update from my review after the passive aggressive respond from the OWNER of this NEW salon... I would never blame the client.. yet I was... thank you your response but I had to go to a different establishment to get eye lashes that I was proud of. The response was repulsive and I will not comment on all of it because I am more mature than than this. Good luck. You need it. I will be spreading my experience. read more
