Check my before and after pic. If you like paying $16 for someone to mess up your brows, go here!

    Not too shabby !

This place used to be the best! It's alright now, still a 4/5 but something has changed. I've gone here for over 3 years and had the same woman thread my eyebrows. All of a sudden she says she's leaving to another location. Maybe management changed but I haven't seen most of the other threaders I saw around consistently the last 3 years... I think there's only one man working there now but he did my eyebrows yesterday. The woman who did them last month (who wasn't my regular threader) majorly messed them up and threaded them too short at the ends and didn't clean up the arch correctly. A decent threader should know how to give you a shape, especially if you verbally indicate what you do/don't want like I usually do. The man had a bit of an attitude when I told him that last time someone didn't listen to my requests but after we got over the awkward tiff he did a stellar job! He shaped them nicely, didn't take too much off and told me what I should do/not do before I come in next time. He might be a bit rude (although that was most likely a misunderstanding) but honestly I could care less if he takes these hairy babies to the heavens! I will continue to come here as long as I live nearby.

I've been getting my brows threaded for a year and a half now, and absolutely refuse to go back to waxing. However, I've been struggling to find people in Minneapolis that do it. For a while, I was going to an awesome lady who worked out of her home, but she moved to Chicago. I also tried the place in Midtown global market that I had heard a lot of good things about, and was pretty disappointed. So, alas, I ended up venturing out to Brow Studio 7 to take a chance with a new person, again. My friend and I went on a Saturday afternoon, and it was a tad busy, but not terribly so. We waiting maybe 10 minutes or so before getting in, because there was only one woman working. I don't recall her name, but she ended up doing a really good job on both mine, and my friend's brows. She was quick and efficient, and it was very painless compared to some other experiences I've had. I really liked how sharp the lines turned out, and how defined my brows looked, after. The only downside, I think, is that there is no guarantee that you will see the same person every time you visit. So, it's hard to say if everyone will be as good. I'm planning to revisit to get them done again, next week. I'm hoping for a similar experience. Finally, a lot of people mentioned how "cold" or "unwelcoming" the employees here seemed, but I didn't notice that at all. The woman was quiet and didn't chat a lot, but she was pleasant and smiling.

Awesome! I have ridiculous thick eyebrows and always hated how quickly they grew back after a wax. And that most of the waxing places near me charge 16 bucks. So my friend recommended me Brow Studio 7- she's Greek and has the same eyebrow complaints as I do. And boy was I impressed! Not only was it cheap, at ten bucks, but it didn't hurt any more than waxing and was very quick. Another plus is that it grows in more slowly (I got mine done almost a month ago and am just beginning to see any growth) and, unlike waxing, you can go back as soon as you need, versus waiting until the hair had grown in long enough. Great service, great price, and great results!

you're in and out in 10 minutes, and I love that it's only $12 compared to every other place in Minneapolis that's $25-40.

A little pushy on the wax passes, but not in a crazy annoying way. But honestly the passes are a good value. I've seen Ava the last couple years and love her! She is so personable and professional and waxes efficiently. The wax they use is great and hurts much less than other waxes.

I have been with EWC for almost 10 years and I've never had any major issues worth complaining…read moreabout. I've been with a few different locations, Woodbury, Vadnais Heights, Eagan and now with Roseville. My most recent encounter was with the Manager of the Roseville location, I did not get her name, nor did she tell me her name when I asked for the manager (Phone interaction). I had a pass that was for 9 waxes, and then they had a promotion going on two months ago (June) for the unlimited pass. This is what I really do not like about EWC, they push the front staff to up sale so they will withhold important information just to make the sale, or mislead you to make the sale. I was advised, my unlimited pass would start after I finished my current pass, so I went ahead with the purchase. I finally finished my last wax for my 9-pass last weekend 8/16. When I asked the front staff when my new pass would start the gave me a date of Aug 20. It didn't make sense to me, since I wouldn't be in for at least another 3 weeks, so I'm basically losing a month. The manager wasn't in so then I called later on in the week. When I call the manager told me the pass starts when I bought it. Again, this is not what I was told. She then continued to tell me my 9-wax pass was completed in June when I bought the unlimited pass, which was not accurate. So, that tells me she really didn't look at my account before trying to get assist me and really just wanted to get me off the phone. She then said that I was correct and my last visit was 8/16 so she'll change my new pass to start 8/17. Again, how is this fair to me that I would be losing a month? Had I known it was going to start the day I made the purchase I wouldn't purchase the pass until I needed it. She then put me on hold and came back and said it was company policy that they couldn't change the start date, but she was going to do it this one time for me (as if it was my fault that they did a poor job providing the proper information). Then she continued to tell me that my pass for the 9 visit never expires and that I could've saved it and started using my unlimited pass right away. She did not like that I pushed back and stated that it should've been communicated to me at the time of the purchase. It was just upsetting for me because there was no accountability taken and she basically blamed me and acted like she was doing me a favor for the misinformation given. I've heard numerous stories from esthetician about how terrible the leadership and the management is with the company. I truly feel bad for them. I loved every esthetician that I had, I switched locations just to follow certain esthetician. This is really just more information to get all the details before making any purchases, the front will be pushy but that's because they have to be.

Anyway I called and they said I could come in in 15 min so I did. First thing I noticed was that the pedicure dubs were not lined, normally I refuse to go somewhere without liners in the tub however I was already sitting in the chair with my color picked out and they had sent away someone else wanting a pedicure so I just wished and hoped hard that they properly clean these things. I asked for the signature pedicure and my friend had the regular classic pedicure, i watched them do hers and mine and I couldn't tell any difference, I'm still not sure what I paid an extra $10 for. The lady also clipped my skin several time and I'm really hoping I don't get a disease from that. At one pint she clipped my skin and I jumped backward and she made me feel like I did something wrong because she told me I scared her several times and told me not to move. So I said "it hurt" like sorry it was an instinct reaction, I'm not sure what else to tell you, then she replied with "it's dirty in there" like ok but you still hurt me quite a bit. The other thing I disliked was that they didn't seem very friendly and at one point some ladies were waiting in the front after they picked out their color of polish, weren't bothering anybody, but just standing in the front talking and waiting. One of the woman very harshly yelled across the place to them to sit down, so they did. Then about 2 min later the same lady clapped at them and again, harshly and almost annoyed sounding, told them to go to their pedicure chair. She actually clapped at them. I was a little taken back by that. Save your time and go somewhere else.

I'm not sure why this location asked, because they didn't seem to follow anything I wrote. This was for my boyfriend's birthday and his name was not on the sign when we walked in, despite me listing that in the paperwork. In the past for my birthday, I have also gotten a card. But nothing here. My boyfriend also didn't want his feet touched and that was also listed in the paperwork. Unfortunately that was not followed. We were brought to our locker rooms and they were clean, had our names and chocolates in the lockers. Very nice touch! Our robe sizes and slides were also in our lockers. There is a large shower, 2 bathroom stalls and vanity with make up lighting. We then walked to the lobby area. This was where we started to have thoughts. Employees were talking in full volume. Not very relaxing. They also kept coming in and out of the room, talking, stocking snacks constantly! Again not very relaxing. The water was nice with a lemon. My boyfriend went to get water for hot tea but the water was room temp. Not very comforting. The massages were nice. I had Ingrid and she was lovely! She did a great job and was soft in speaking during the massage. My boyfriend said his massage therapist was talking at normal volume and didn't find it as relaxing. Afterwards we said in the lobby area again. In my opinion, the fireplace at maple grove is more welcoming and comforting. This place had what looked like a diffuser and eventually it turned off and started beeping. Again not relaxing. The lobby area is also larger at the maple grove location. This location left me a bit perplexed as to why the reviews are better here than at the maple grove location....

We also got a warm neck wrap. Our pedicures took place in the nail room. Only two chairs, so very private. The treatments we had were great and very relaxing! I had Kassidy and she was wonderful. I'd definitely return in the future.
