However, on Monday I was helped by another employee with blonde highlights and lip filler (Zara) , and unfortunately she completely messed up my eyebrows. When I pointed it out, instead of trying to fix the issue, she became defensive and argued with me, even asking me to show her old pictures of myself to "prove her wrong." I paid $20 for uneven eyebrows and left very disappointed. One end is noticeably longer than the other, and there was still a lot of hair left behind. Unfortunately, there's probably a reason this place is usually empty.

I quickly followed her on Instagram and it was so obvious how great she is as what she does. All of my initial questions were answered on her website (very detailed and helpful info on there!), and I emailed her a few photos and videos of my current eyebrow state, to which she replied back fairly quickly! The booking process was so easy because you can do it online. Her system sends you confirmation emails and reminder emails for your initial and touch up appointments! After both of your appointments, she also sends you aftercare instructions :) My also conveniently booked my touch up appointment right when I got into the studio - she is so on top of everything. BACKSTORY: Two years ago I had a different friend who just finished a class for microblading. I was the second person she had ever done the microblading process on, but honestly I was just glad that I finally had eyebrows. Fast forward to the day I found My... my brows were faded and uneven, and needed HELP. I was constantly checking her page to see when her books would open, and I ended up setting an alarm at work to take a break just so I could book my appointment! LOCATION: The location is a very neat and tidy office in San Jose which she shares with her sister who does scalp tattoos! There is even a private parking lot just for MicroHair Studios clients, which was really convenient. I didn't realize that at first and parked on the street, but that was just as easy because it is near a residential street. PRICE: Her info is on her website, the price includes the complimentary touch up, and it is more than worth it!!! Cash and Venmo are accepted. RESULTS: My brows have never looked better. She fixed the shape, lifted the tail ends, made them even, and got the color PERFECT. Need I say more? My previous tattoo just barely shows at the tail ends since they were brought down too far initially, but the shape that My perfected for me exceeds all my expectations so much so that I don't even care that the old tattoo shows a bit! The old tattoo will fade soon anyway, plus I can cover it up with concealer for the time being lol. OVERALL: My is one of the most wonderful, friendly, and talented girls I have met to this day. She was so warm and welcoming, and talking to her made me feel like I was talking to an old friend. Her customer service is absolutely incredible and you can tell she really enjoys and cares about what she does! P.S. Did you know she even microbladed her own beautiful brows? Now THAT is a microblading artist you can trust. Thank you so so SO much, My, for my beautiful new eyebrows. I get so many compliments on how detailed the hair-strokes are and how well the shape suits my face :) 10/10 stars. 100% recommend. Spread the word about My Mai Brows, everybody.
