The restaurant was very crowded when I arrived and there were many customers who were waiting to be seated. Luckily, I found a spot at the bar so I didn't have to wait long. I had the 2 Egg Plate breakfast. The hashbrowns were nice and crispy, and the eggs were cooked just as I like them. Despite the restaurant being very busy, the waitress provided excellent service, showing remarkable patience and attentiveness to all patrons. She ensured every customer was satisfied with their food and kept all coffee cups filled. I also noticed that the staff exhibited outstanding teamwork and communication, creating an unexpectedly positive and efficient atmosphere.

We were told to sit anywhere and a server soon came with menus and took drink orders. She was all dressed up for the holidays with cute little floppy reindeer antlers on her head and an apron with snowmen on it. My wife was in the mood for eggs as we had skipped breakfast so she had an omelet, hash browns and cinnamon raisin toast. It was perfect and she enjoyed every bite. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with a side of their sweet potato fries which were crispy and hot from the fryer. The place is cute inside, lots of cute things on the walls like old photos, signs and even a big Santa Clause for the holidays. What's more I used the men's room and it was super clean which always tells me how good a restaurant is and that they most likely keep a clean kitchen! We would dine here regularly if we lived here, the food was that good!

The enchiladas were decent. I felt like the green sauce was a little light and runny but the chicken was soft and shredded well. A generous spread of flavorful powdered cinnamon topped it off. I consider this roll a thoroughly enjoyable treat. The cafe has a great coffee house ambiance. Good music playing softly. Books to read. Comfy couch. A big board where locals can post their wares and businesses, so it has a good community feel. There's kid art for us to enjoy, and a place for kids to play. The manager incorrectly stated that service dogs must wear a vest to be recognized as service animals and demanded that we provide a "service animal certificate." We were then told that such certificates were not valid and that service animals must be registered in New Mexico before being allowed into the restaurant. None of these statements are consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Service dogs are not required to wear vests, carry certificates, or be registered with any state in order to access public accommodations. It is deeply concerning that a manager responsible for serving the public appears to have such a poor understanding of federal disability law. The experience was embarrassing, discriminatory, and completely unnecessary. I have traveled extensively throughout the United States with my service dogs and have never been treated this way. I strongly encourage management to educate staff on ADA requirements before another customer is subjected to the same treatment. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone who relies on a service animal.
