After the facial, I was shown "premium" products and told the total would be around $1,000, which had never been discussed. I explained that I could only afford around $500, and I was considering a selection of products within that range. However, when I asked whether one item, specifically an SPF, was necessary, the tone shifted. I was told there was no point in continuing to go over products if I was not going to purchase anything and that we "were not a good fit," to which I agree, but not because I asked questions or was unwilling to buy. As a result, I chose not to purchase anything and canceled the next appointment. I left feeling dismissed and unwelcome. As a young client still in college, I would have expected a more understanding and respectful approach rather than pressure. Overall, the lack of professionalism made this an uncomfortable experience.
