Like used car salesmen, they then pretended to call their boss to get me a discounted rate. I'm immune suppressed and gave them masks to wear. One dude just put it under his nose. I said if they were to do the job, he'd have to wear the mask properly. He comes back in with the mask both upside down and inside out and offers me a discounted diagnostic of $250 for a job I was pretty sure was just cleaning out the P-trap. He started talking about cable cameras into drain lines. Given his lack of understanding of the quirks of old home plus his total disregard for my health (and his general MAGA attitude and t-shirt symbolism), I declined. Hall's dude must have been Covid asymptomatic, because I'm now starting to feel sick. PS - Job turned out to be a fast 15 minute fix for which I paid a fraction of the Hall's diagnostic by someone who cheerfully worse a mask.
