The service technician was courteous, prompt and professional. Unfortunately, I'm not too happy about paying a $195 service call fee for 10 seconds worth of work. I thought my garbage disposal needed to be repaired. It just needed to be cranked. There was no consultation. The service tech. knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it in 10 seconds. We had a clog in our sewer, which made everything back up into the baths-toilets and sinks. I tried to clean it on my own and made no progress with the rooter I owned. I called Anthony and he had Mark out to our home the same afternoon. Mark was just as awesome as Anthony was when we had him out to our home a few years ago. I could not get the pilot on my hot water heater to light and/or stay lit. I called Anthony mainly because of the 5-star rating on Yelp. They notified me of a 4:00pm repair time. I was called about 30 minutes before the scheduled time to confirm. The repair was basically a replacement of the thermocoupler. It was relatively quick and relatively inexpensive. FAST SERVICE and Highly recommend! I had a water leak emergency and contacted Anthony, he showed up within 12 hours! They went through the estimate and had a crew out to repair the leak the very next day. (Some of the other companies didn't handle leak detection or told me to take a picture and send to them.) I waited too long to write this review...but here it is! I would great recommend Anthony for fixing plumbing problems! We had a major flood in our house after a valve was incorrectly installed. It was on a Friday - Anthony came the very next day, diagnosed the problem, gave a fair estimate, came just a couple days later (we were displaced so we weren't in the house at the time), brought a cement guy who had to break part of our driveway for access (and who put it back perfectly - like nothing ever happened - so even Anthony's recommendation was great!), and fixed the problem. I was looking for a company that could install an IGuardStove controller for my mother's gas stove. iGuardstove is a computer-controlled device that automatically shuts off a stove that is left unattended for more than a few minutes. This special device is often used as a safety feature for persons with mental health disabilities -- my mother has Alzheimer's. To install the iGuardStove controller, I needed the installation of a gas valve by a gas plumber. They were able to get me in very quickly and found out that there was one in house but needed a connection kit. While I've worked with Anthiny before and had mixed success, I'm very disappointed with their service today. I've had 3 repairs done by them in the past. The first two by Anthony himself (very friendly knowledgeable fair). The 3rd rime the technician (not Anthony) made rude comments about what he was pulling out of my drain. You're here for a clog. I guess it was "the largest hair clog" he had seen before... but I was dealing with cancer and hair loss at the time and could not catch everything as it fell out of my scalp every morning. I hadn't called them again after that because I was mortified but this morning I had an emergency situation with my toilet. I was told Scott would be here within a couple hours and subsequently ended the day with a no call no show. I attempted to reach Anthony multiple times to check in on the status of Scott's arrival with no response. Unfortunately, now I'm entering the weekend with a broken toilet (the only one in my home) and a waste of an entire business day where I could have dealt with a more reliable company. Anthony is a full service plumber. He does more than just sewer rooting. We had a hot water pipe leaking under our slab foundation. He was punctual, personable, calm, confident, and professional. When I first contacted him, he answered the phone personally. I did not reach a voicemail. Like most of us, we are on a budget. His price was more than reasonable compared to other estimates we received. He coordinated with the flooring contractor after his repair was done. The whole job, including flooring, was completed in 2 days. We expected a nightmare with this repair but with Anthony's constant communication with us, it turned out to be stress-free! We also asked him to change a couple of valves while he was here, and he said, "No problem", and he got it done quickly. I called to set up an estimate on Friday. I was told that they would be at my house in 15 minutes. I was really surprised. I told my husband to wait there for the plumber because he was on his way. 45 minutes later I received a call from the lady saying that the technician she was going to send out does not know how to give an estimate so she will send the owner out at 8:00 am the following morning. I said that would be fine. The next morning we waited for the plumber until 11:00 am. I called and called to see what was going on and no answer. Finally around noon, the lady called me back apologizing. She said it was her fault because she forgot to put it in the calendar. She ensured me that the plumber would be out at 2:30pm. He did come and we were happy. Anthony gave us an estimate and we scheduled for him to come the next day to do the job at 3:30pm. The next morning he called me to tell me he would not be there until 4:30pm. I said that would be fine. At 6:00 pm still no call and no plumber. At this point we were tired of waiting and we were upset that he did not even have the decency of telling us he would be late or just reschedule. We also have things to do and we made sure each time that we would be home as we had scheduled. Just really inconsiderate and unprofessional. I let it go twice but 3 times youre out. They must be doing really well. So well that they did not need my money or my business. read more
