I've been coming here to get my brows done by Hini since 2020. First time around, I had to get it touched up twice a few weeks after because it turn out really faded and it was also uneven. The left brows was also way closer to the middle than the right brow. On all appointments, Hini was either late or made me wait. Despite it being uneven, I came back a year and a half later for my touch up. I really liked the shape this time. When it healed, the right brow turned out a lot lighter than the left and the only thing you could really see was the outline of the brow. It's been embarrassing to go around with uneven brows so I decided to come back to get it touched up and fixed. Me being punctual, I arrived 10 minutes earlier but still had to wait another 30 minutes from my appointment time to finally get helped. This time, she made my eyebrows so close to the center, I look permanently angry. I specifically asked her if she could leave more space in between but I guess not. Based on the other reviews, it seems it's a pattern of having to wait and receiving mid service. After this time, I don't think I'll ever be coming back to get my brows done here. read more

Rachel is the best!!! Just had my eyebrows Ombré shaded and they look fabulous! I had an old microbladed eyebrows that were very dark and shaped poorly/uneven but Rachel knew how to fix it and made them look amazing!!! She was very honest from the very beginning and advised me that if she wasn't comfortable correcting my brows and not feel that she could make them look better, then, she will not proceed with the appointment. DO NOT get your brows microbladed here. This is an updated review from when I had my brows done with Linnie herself in 2017. My brows faded red (red like a cherry/fire truck/bottom of your louboutins) RED after one year. I had 2 touch ups done within that year. Microblading is invasive on the skin and does not retain the color well. Yes it varies depending on skin texture but I was disappointed how fast my brows turned red. Let's not even talk about how bad the shape looked. I finally decided to get them fixed with another brow artist after this bad experience. This time I opted for powder ombré which looks a lot better than the red "hair strokes" which btw went from fine lines to thick blurred lines within a few months. Save yourself the money & time and just book elsewhere with another brow artist. Don't believe the hype you see on IG. I would rather book with an unpretentious brow artist who I can collaborate with regarding shape and outcome of what's permanently going on my face. I can now wake up feeling fierce! Thank you so much to Jasmine from Brows By Linnie for my wonderful first brow experience. I found Jasmine on Instagram and was able to book an appointment directly through her profile. I came into the shop and automatically loved the decor, cleanliness of the salon, and professionalism of all of the brow technicians. I instantly felt welcomed. I went to Jasmine and told her how I usually style my eyebrows and how I drew my arch. She offered some suggestions as to how a few adjustments would bring out my features more. She kept all of my specific requests (a higher arch and longer tail) which I really appreciated. Jasmine first drew out the brows for me and I LOVED it- so we were good to go. The whole process took only about an hour and a half. She put on topical numbing cream and constantly checked to see if I felt comfortable or started to feel any pain. If I felt any discomfort at all, she stopped and added more cream. After she finished, she gave me a mirror and had me make sure that everything was perfect. I had her fill in a few spots to my liking but honestly, it was gorgeous the moment I saw it! Her lines were clean, the ombre shading was perfect, and I could wake up feeling like I had my makeup done! She gave me an ointment to put on my brows after a few days along with a paper that had proper care instructions for healing. I really appreciate how attentive and patient Jasmine was with me as I checked my brows. It was about $450 for the appointment and 100% worth it. I will be returning for future touch ups! IN BETWEEN THOSE DATES, I HAVE MESSAGED HER A FEW TIMES FOR SOME QUESTIONS BUT SHE WASN'T REALLY RESPONSIVE. Fast forward to today. I'm currently outside of Brows by Linnie for my 10:30 AM appointment today and I'm out here writing this review. I got here at 10:27 AM and the establishment is closed. It's now 11:17am so i have been waiting for 45 minutes now. I have tried contacting both Alisha and Linnie through Instagram and email and their phone number but did not get any response. How can you let your clients book appointments when you obviously cannot show up?! Review for Casara. I am sincerely happy with my brows. I planned on coming in with my brow shape drawn to help the process so she can see how I usually like it. Then life happened and I went in bare faced. She was so patient with me. I was so nervous. She made sure I loved the shape before starting. (I settle alot because I feel bad) but she could tell and kept reshaping until I was loving them not just like them. She made sure many times before starting. She really took her time. She was sweet and always checked if I was feeling okay.I walked out nervous because its a shock when you go makeup less and see fresh dark brows right after. I am already so happy with my unhealed results the next day. I'll update this review when they heal. I was even planning on waiting to review but was so excited and she deserves the props. I have to say I'm extremely disappointed with her course. I could barely afford it and was very hesitant for that reason but really thought I was going to learn something special with all her skill. I walked out of there not knowing much more than I've already learned from watching YouTube videos and practicing on my own. She doesn't make sure you really know what you're doing before you leave there. We didn't work on live models we only watched her do it which again, you can see on your own by watching videos. Not hands on at all with realistic scenarios. If I had the chance to do it again, I would definitely go with a trainer who is less popular but has good work because they seem to care a little bit more about their students and truly want to help, not just collect a paycheck. I have researched and spoke to several artists prior to her and non took the time to attend my questions and concerns like she did. I've been following brows by Linnie for some time on instagram and after two years I decided to go for it. The place was nicely decorated. The receptionist was very nice and attentive. My favorite was the music they were playing lol. I had my brows done by Linnie and she did an amazing job and I am happy with my results. My eyebrows were really thin and I was just tired of filling them in. I also have a vacation coming up in two weeks so I just didn't want to deal with my brows lol. So, after months and months of debating on whether or not to get my brows done, I FINALLY committed to it and made an appointment. You schedule your appointment online under the persons name you want to do them & most have their Instagram profile also linked so you can check out their work before choosing. I decided to go with Binny. He was amazing! First & foremost I am not much of a talker, so I really appreciated him not trying to force a conversation. So, I completely forgot to update my review since the first one in December and it is now almost 7 months later... I love my brows! 7 months later and the color retention is amazing and it also matches my skin tone without being too light or too dark. I literally never touch it up with any type of powder or brow wiz or anything. I feel completely functioning everyday with just how my brows ended up. So the second visit, I made the executive decision to switch from combo brows to just ombre shading, which was a slight correction. I noticed that my oily/combo skin could not retain the microblading strokes as I would like and I did not want to risk the chance of the strokes not showing again. I corrected the inner brows a little bit and made the left side a little thicker. I also just booked my next touch up with her for March 2019, which she stated was her earliest appointment available. "Buyer Beware" I would not believe the 5 star reviews but the 1 star reviews clearly tell the truth. "Linnie" is refusing to refund her bad work. This is unethical on so many different levels. The unprofessionalism is astounding. These eyebrows took her "6" hours to complete. 3 hours to shape and another 3 hours to tattoo. If Linnie has a shred of compassion for her line of work she will do the right thing and process a refund to a cash paying client. If a refund is not honored then the next step is to contact OC health department and get her insurance information to file a claim. read more

My whole life I've always had very super fine brows...so I started fillin in my brows since i was 15. Granted I got really good at it...but it was very time consuming. I ended up getting my brows done by another artist around 2001 and 2010. And like all permanent makeup it fades and I had pink brows. So I was back drawing in my brows. Linnie was very professional giving her opinion and taking into account how I like my brows. We worked on the shape for a good 45 min. Then she got started..she numbed both brows and it was fairly painless. I mean..common it's a needle scratching your face. The outcome..was great! I finally had brows! I save so much time not having to draw them in. Went on vacay to Hawaii and didn't have to do anything. I'm able to get up in the morning for work and not have to make sure I had brows. It was great! I've been getting my brows done by Linnie since 2017 until this year when I switched over to Hini due to tight schedules. I love Linnie's work, her front shading is the best. I trust Linnie's choices in artists so I made the switch to Hini. Reading through other reviews, there were mentions that she only speaks Vietnamese. If you're looking for which artists to choose from and the only thing stopping you from booking with Hini is the language barrier, rest assured because the Browsbylinnie team has a wonderful receptionist who can help with the communication . Vy seems very knowledgeable in the industry and I believe it's because she works closely with Linnie and thus, understands the process and brow lingual to help the artists explain to clients the steps they're taking to shape the brows to each person's face. I personally didn't have trouble communicating with Hini. I asked her for a more defined outline and she delivered. It took more than one hour for my touch up as she took her time to map my brows to make sure I was completely satisfied with it. When my numbing cream wore off in the middle of the session, I told Hini and she was able to help alleviate it. So just let the artists know, everyone experiences pain differently and it's hard for them to know how you're feeling if you don't tell them. Timing wise I don't schedule other things too soon after my touch up sessions bc I like to be as stress free as I can and not sweat about my artist taking longer than they said they will. Art takes time to perfect and sometimes its longer than expected which also pushes other clients back. A domino effect I patiently wait through in return of not having to do or fuss about my brows for the rest of the year. Aftercare says to avoid sweating, rushing to get to places can cause unnecessary sweat and stress hehe I just schedule a slow paced ME day. :) She's very accommodating and I love my brows! I've had people ask me where I got my brows done and I recommend Browsbylinnie every time. I tell them I've personally had Linnie and Hini both work on my brows and love them both. I got my brows done by Linnie; I was so excited for Linnie to do my eyebrows, i thought she did such beautiful work, i even researched her and with her professional background i expected the best. But i got quickly disappointed to how extremely unpleasant she became after i kindly asked for a correction. One of her responses was, and i quote : "you could draw your own eyebrows." Unlike any other body parts this was on my face, therefore this is the first thing everyone looks at. I honestly didn't think i was being unreasonable for me to ask her to redraw my brows to my liking. But it seemed each time i made my request, she seemed to get more and more impatient with me. It was almost as though she was pressuring me to like what she wanted, rather than what i wanted. Mind you it's MY face. Fast forward to the time of payment, she had already dismissed me w/o giving me any after-care instructions till i felt the need to ask. She then was quick to feel surprised saying "oh, here's the ointment you need to use + instructions" After, when i was able to collect myself from this appointment; i decided to i reach out due to not being satisfied with the work and the entire experience. My concern was regarding how close my eyebrows were- it wasn't until then that she informed me that apparently eyebrows shrink by a certain percentage when healed. I came back a few months after my initial appointment for a touch-up with Linnie. Although I loved the first tattoo she did, as it healed, the color lightly faded. I'm so happy to have gone in for a touch up because now they are perfect! I asked to go a little darker and this time, when it healed, it is exactly the color I wanted. The touch up, for sure, was a bit more painful than the first initial tattoo (which I fell asleep like a baby). Nothing too crazy though because the touchup was super quick! About 30 mins or less. I had my brows done by Binny around four weeks ago, one of my brows was almost gone because brow hair didn't grow back after years of waxing and you know most of the time when you wax your brows they don't leave them even. Linnie is so sweet and funny. I came in there nervous but came out a different person! She takes her time to make your eyebrows the way you want it and makes sure you like it. First she draws the shape of what she thinks is best then let's you look at it. She has a stencil that helps with the shaping and evenness. Don't be afraid to tell her to fix it she wants you to be really comfortable and like your brows. So after if you like it she will continue with the process of cleaning your brows by shaving the unnecessary hairs. She will outline it once more and uses an app on her phone to triple check if the eyebrows are even or not. The numbing process takes 20 mins so during that time you can ask her whatever questions you want to get more info of eyebrow care. Her numbing cream was really strong so I didn't feel a thing during the actual process. Microblading only takes about 30 mins! Very fast and quick. It was painless and the outcome was really nice. Amy did my brows so well! I am so incredibly pleased with her talent. The ombré shading was perfect and the shape lifted up my face and gave me so much confidence. She's a 6/5! I gave 4 stars because I do wish they didn't shave stray hairs near the brow. Shaving always brings back in-growns near my brow, and it leaves these little black dots that take forever to grow out, so you can't pluck them or wax them for a long time. So, if you are getting your brows done, my only piece of advice is to wax beforehand, so they don't need to shave as much. read more

My review is LONG OVERDUE like my touch up. I had my eyebrows done by Linnie in May. She scheduled my touch up appointment for September. I requested a day off from work in advance and was excited for my appointment. The day before my touch up appointment, I received a text message from her assistant. She stated that Linnie was sick and had to canceled my appointment. That they can schedule me for the next available appointment. Linnie's assistant texted me last minute that there was a cancellation if I can come in the next day. I was unable to just come due to work. So I asked if there was any available appointments in advance that way I can request a day off from work. Her assistant texted back stating Linnie's next available appointment would be July 2019. It's ridiculous and doesn't make sense for a customer who waited 5 months to get an initial appointment, then touch up appointment getting canceled. Now being told next available appointment for touch up is July 2019. I don't know why Linnie offers touch up appointments when she doesn't even accommodate her customers who paid in full. I also don't know why Linnie doesn't space out her calendar for touch up appointments. Instead of booking left and right. Now I have faded brows and trying to look for other artists to help me. If anyone who is reading this, I would NOT recommend Linnie. Linnie may show great skills on social media. But her customer service is definitely a horrible bad taste and very UNPROFESSIONAL. Located in Tracy Nail & Spa. With 7AM work shifts, I could barely get up, let alone spend a ton of time getting ready. I'm lucky to have a lot of brow hair so lining it was enough. I'll shade it if I'm actually going out. It look me awhile to make the decision because the thought of something permanent on my face made me nervous. There's no going back. So do your research on the artist, ask questions before coming in, and make sure you're comfortable. This will make your session run smoothly when you do come in. Process: 1. 20-30 mins for measuring brows and drawing in w/ pencil. Beware - this place does not give you the option to cancel your appointment online and the artist, Hini, has terrible communication. She answered extremely fast when it came time to book the appointment, but seems to stop responding if you ask to cancel your appointment. One week before the appointment, I messaged her via instagram, asking her to please cancel my appointment. She takes almost 12 hours to respond, and her response was that I would lose my deposit if I cancel. Of course I already knew that - the terms made it very clear that the deposit was nonrefundable. I told her that I understood, and I still wish to cancel. I have not heard back since. I also tried calling the number on their website and I got an automated system telling me that the number is not in service. I then tried emailing them. I did get a response via email, asking me for a reason for cancellation. Nowhere in their terms do they state that I need to provide a reason for cancellation. I found this absolutely ridiculous - everywhere I've been to, whether it be a doctor or salon, cancels immediately without question. I email them back with my reason anyway, and they have not responded. Today, I receive an automated appointment reschedule confirmation email. It says that my appointment has been moved to 10:30pm on the same day of the original appointment. I did not ask to reschedule my appointment, I wanted to cancel it! Furthermore, it was rescheduled to 10:30pm without explanation. I still have not received a response back from either Hini or whoever answered that first email. Why am I making such a big deal about cancelling? Because they have a policy that states that if you do not show up to the appointment, you will be charged the full amount of the service. At this rate, I believe they are crooks and are trying to scam me so that I miss the 10:30pm appointment and they will end up charging me. I'm not going to waste my time trying to contact them anymore and have informed my credit card company to ensure they are not able to charge me. It should not be this difficult to cancel an appointment. Avoid Hini, or better yet, avoid this place completely. read more

I've been wanting to do my brows but I just didn't want to go to any place and regret my decision later. When I saw my friend's brows that casara did I asked her where? Who? Give me her info now! As soon as I got her information I scheduled an appointment right away. Casara is such a sweetheart and took her time to shape my brows to how I like it and it came out amazing! I'm scheduled to do my touch up and I'm so excited! Thank you so much casara! read more

I loved my experience beginning to end. The decor is beautiful, receptionist is so sweet and attentive and the brow artists are amazing! I had my eyebrows done by Hini, she did an amazing job and I'm happy with my results. My eyebrows were so uneven and she fixed them. Eyebrows do darken after which can be scary but after a few weeks they lighten up. I'm glad I did my eyebrows getting ready has gotten so much easier. Cant wait for my touch up! read more

Drove 5 1/2 hrs to get my brows done by Casara. She was the sweetest. She was very welcoming and always made sure I was comfortable. Not looking did she make sure I was happy with my brows but that she was happy with my brows. I was very nervous at first, but thanks for making my experience the best! Love you Casara.
