I've been coming here for a good year and a half ... not regularly, as threading seems to last me longer than waxing and I'm also an esthetician, so I can tweeze in between to go longer. I just prefer not to do my own brow shaping and major clean up. I was told about Susan Lugo Brows after I moved back to the area and wanted to go the threading route. Threading is not the most comfortable but everyone here does a great job at making the process a breeze. I've rotated through most of the girls and after my experience with Amber, I'm now making all my appointments with her! She was great at shaping, talking to me in the chair while still working hard (COVID had them all sorts of crazy outgrown) on getting them to look the best they've been. She talked to me about the henna, which I never had interest in or offered, but after explaining why I'm a good candidate, I plan to try it next time! My reason for 4 stars is the past two times (not my recent visit with Amber) I have had a tiny cut above my eye lid from the threading. I've been waxed so many times that I know I'm not super sensitive. Didn't have this happen with Amber, so it's another reason I'll see her. Anyways, no one really seemed to say much about it other than a quick reference that it was sensitive and got me a little. Not a big deal as every one is different and depending on so many other factors, it can happen every once in a while ... but twice in a row and now nothing is odd. Also, I know I don't come regularly but the engagement has been bare minimum. I don't feel as welcome and employees are chatting with each other. I'm sure regulars get more, which I get, but I think more inclusive would feel better. The space is gorgeous, I'd love to feel like the way it looks ... I know my brows do and I love that! read more

So I cheated on my eyebrow girls again only because Susan is closer and I went on my lunch. Susan does great work, but the way she runs her business is something to be desired. I walked in with two other coworkers because she takes walk-ins Monday- Wednesday from 11-2. Only thing is she also takes appointments during that time frame. Everybody ends up waiting then. Due to this factor only 1 of us (me) were able to get our brows done. And it took the entire hour and it was only myself who ended up getting my brows done. If you have that time for walk-ins I felt that only walk ins should be taken at that time. If I had an appointment and to wait be of a walk-in of be kind of upset. I probably won't be back, but never say never. She does do really great work. read more

I went here to get my eyebrows done with henna to darken them up. I have bright blonde hair so I have blonde eyebrows. I paid $15 to look ridiculous after I left the salon. I don't recommend that any blondes get their eyebrows done with henna here. The lady doing my eyebrows said they would look natural. I had my eyebrows completely bleached an hour after they did my eyebrows. Horrible experience for me. They only have henna for black or brown hair. read more

I went today for the first time and let me just say, obsessed. This place is adorable, beautiful and every girls dream! The atmosphere is upbeat and fun, and most importantly the girls there are extremely and beyond talented. I highly recommend Amber, she's the sweetest and so so so talented. Absolutely love Susan's new location it's very nice and clean. The location it's self is in a nice area with free ample parking. You walk in and you see a touch of elegance and at the same time have a cozy and comfortable feeling. I am soo picky when it comes to my eyebrows. I have sat in Susan's chair to get serviced about a few times and each and everyone of them were worse than the other. The first time I had an appointment scheduled with a previous employee (Nina that had by the way been doing my eyebrows consistently for over a year and a half) it was on a Saturday I showed up she greeted me and said she would be doing my eyebrows that day because the other person was not in. I agreed and got my eyebrows done by her. As she is finishing up she is talking with another employee about salon drama that really should not be talked about in front of customers. When she finished she said to me that the girl that did my eyebrows was no longer working there and that she would be able to book me as a reoccurring appointment me but that she did not work weekends. I agreed and booked every 2 weeks. At the next appointment I waited for about 30 minutes before she took me. Yes, I understand she was fitting me in, and I appreciated that, however I would have much rather been scheduled on a day further out that i would not have had to wait as long. When I was finally called to the chair I felt like she was rushed and she did not take her time servicing me. As i was annoyed I did not look at my brows with much detail, but as I got home and looked at them, they seemed off thought it was me just trying to knit pick and let it go. The last time I saw her was in march of 2019, I walked in, sat down, waited to be called. Susan calls me over to the chair and started to do my eyebrows she trimmed and started threading when someone walks in and starts talking to her about some glasses that she wants from the next room. Susan stops working on me and goes to get the receptionist/eyebrow girl the keys comes back and continues to work on me. She stopped another 3/4 times again to help them get the door open to the other room. Again, rushing to get done was not paying much attention to what she was doing and gossiping as per always. She finished I looked at my eyebrows and of course there was one significantly thinner than the other one. Did not say anything to her I got up and walked out. Canceled all future appointments. Why did I not say anything?. Well because I know had i said anything she would have given me an attitude and started to talk about me as soon as I walked out the door as I had heard her talk about other clients the times I was there. Plus, nothing could be done to fix it at that point. She may show her good work on social media, but remember we only see what they want to show. I believe she takes her time and does a detailed job only to who she wants to. There is no need for everyone in there to know the inside gossip that is going on. I will never step foot in her establishment again and the only good thing that I got out of it is finding Nina, she is hands down the best!!!!!!!!! Super detailed, takes her time, does not triple/quadruple book herself. She will not let you leave until you are satisfied! Oh and she knows how to match your henna perfectly! read more
