    GF 34th street- amazing!!
    Lisa M.

I love brozinnis pizza! We first found out about Brozinni's from a pizza & beer fest in Indy. Brozinnis 34th street pizza was a fan favorite both years we went. 34th street is a white sauce pizza with ricotta - something I would never think to order but is one of my favorite pizzas now. Anytime we are in Nashville we stop here. They also have a location in speedway that I have visited as well. I previously had their "normal" pizza which is fantastic, I've recently gotten their GF option which is a almost as good. Same great taste, good gluten free crust, just more expensive for less pizza. My husband decided to try the BBQ this time too and that was fantastic as well. Brozinnis is definitely one of my top pizza recommendations & worth checking out - they do sell pizza by the slice as well if you want to try multiple options. We have only gotten take out at this location but the staff is nice & orders usually only take about 10-15 minutes. They have nice indoor/outdoor seating options if you want to dine in.

Everyone had recommended Brozinni as the best pizza in the area! I found myself in Brown County one Saturday afternoon, so I popped in to try it for myself. Ordered the garlic knots and a 16 inch pepperoni pizza and everything was just delicious. New York style pizza is my favorite and their sauce has an excellent flavor, plus the pepperoni had a extra flavor spice to it that elevated the taste. Loved the garlic knots, they were smothered in a buttery sauce and I could have eaten them entirely by myself. Service was attentive and my food arrived quickly, especially since they were pretty busy on a weekend evening. I got seated right away, but was dining alone, so that worked out well! The restaurant isn't fancy, but had a homey feel to it and no one seemed to act like it was weird that I was eating alone. Sometimes you get weird vibes when that happens, but not here. I definitely really like their pizza and will be back again, next time I'll try the southside location.

This location was a different pizza place before and now it is Brozinni's. It is a neat location off the main drag so there actually is a chance you can park nearby. They sell pizza by the slice so you can get in and out fairly quickly. You can get a slice, pepperoni sticks, and a drink for about $11. If the weather is nice, sit on the nice covered deck and watch the world go by.

Came here for pizza after visiting Brown County National Park. This was New York style pizza in a nice casual environment. It was a nice day so we sat outside. They have indoor and outdoor dining. We got the 20" Madison Ave and it was plenty for us. I liked the crisp thin crust and the toppings were good. Not too much crust along the edges. We wanted to try the pizza cookie but we were too tired so maybe next time. Street parking available. Located in the downtown Nashville area. Good pizza spot if you're in Nashville.

Service was excellent! 5 for service. 4 stars for ambience. 8-10 different big slices for lunchtime; great variety ~$5/slice. Interesting lasagna soup special. Breadsticks including ones stuffed with meatballs and/or pepperoni looked fun. Paper plates, etc. nothing special for ambience. Plenty of street parking.

Garlic knuckles. We ate one before the picture‍

Just fun and light beers that pair well with food. And because this is a Hard Truth joint, you can also find Hard Truth whiskey and cocktails. Pizza takes up half of the food menu, so you will most likely get the pizza. That's what I did! I got a 10-inch margherita pizza for myself, which ended up being more pizza than I could eat. It's 6 slices, and the crust is very thick, so it was a lot of bread. You can also get calzones and hoagies here, as well as things like salads, wings, nachos and breadsticks. Big Woods Pizza has outdoor seating on the patio, with some patio games to keep you occupied while you wait (giant Jenga!). Inside, there is a lot of seating, and while I was there, Family Feud was on the TV, as well as sports. I wasn't sure which one to ignore! (I ignored both.)

I couldn't help myself when I saw that they were featuring two special wines, and one of them was a Sauvignon Blanc called Sincerite. I had never tasted this particular wine, but it sounded special! And sincere! It was good, but maybe a little too sweet for my palate. Isn't that sometimes the way with those earnest wines? I visited for lunch when I just wanted a little something. So I got the soup of the day -- a bean and beef number in a tomatoey broth. It came with a fennel-seed-studded roll. The soup was amazing and tasted like something a mom or dad or grandma or grandpa would make: just kind of simple and hearty and good. I also got the Hobnob Green Salad, which is mesclun topped with shredded cheese, mushrooms, cubes of turkey and croutons. I'm not a big fan of raw mushroom slices in general, and particularly on a salad, so I picked off the mushrooms like a petulant child and ate the rest of the salad. My soup and salad went really well with my cold glass of Sauv Blanc. Hobnob Corner was very busy when I visited! Nashville is a place that gets lots of visitors, and this restaurant, which is located on the corner of a busy intersection in downtown Nashville, is no exception. But I was able to get a table right away, even though I was a party of one. There is no bar here, by the way. Even though they were busy, the service was quick and friendly. They also have a pastry selection in a display case in the front of the restaurant. You can pop in and grab a cookie or pastry, if you want.

Solidly average.

With our usual under renovation, we decided to go out of our way to drop by at the Gatesville Country Store on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. before they closed at 3 p.m. They still had a number of customers and a trio of motorbikers came in afterwards. We picked from their specials which were a bean and ham stew with cornbread, bbq pork sandwich with home fries & onions, along with cherry cobbler. Picked our drinks from the cooler and sat out in the sunny porch table and enjoyed the 60+ degree weather after a 40 degree morning while Robin prepared our food. Friendly conversation with other customers and warm sun (and cold drinks) made it easy on the wait. (there are dining tables inside and under a covered porch too). Yes, the food is served on foam plates with plasticware, but the taste is home cooking with care. Crispy home fries with caramelized onions (can't resist with ketchup) and soft moist cornbread with whipped butter (not in package) that were perfect companion to the bean and ham stew. Though I prefer cherries that are more tart in cobbler/pie, the homemade crust made up for it. Snagged a brownie to take home since we couldn't resist. Altogether it was $23 and credit cards are accepted (whew!) Left wallet at home and we were scraping together cash and coins before we saw the credit card sticker on the door and added desserts to our order. A 15 minute country drive from Nashville which certainly would have been at least that long a wait finding a spot on a Sunday afternoon in Nashville.
